Elevator Jeez [D8, EA]

At the appointed time, Jaxom made his way to the elevator. The spike was hidden away in a secret pocket, But otherwise, he hid nothing else. He'd left his holdout blaster behind, along with his datapad, and only carried his commlink.

Walking up to the outerwalls of the fortifications Jaxom walks along the single road of Imperial design, compared to most of Bellionas' constructions this stood out as a very base and clean design. It was.. sickening a little, a reminder of the Empire's impact on his home. Yet onward he must walk and he approaches the gate that would allow him entry and hailed the guards.

Some ten minutes later an officer followed out by a few stormtroopers as a guard walk from the gate and approach him.

"Jaxom? You're expected, step forward," she says, and indicates him to stand before her.

He stepped to where indicated and waited for whatever came next.

[Meiyokashi]

"Please turn over all weapons you may have on your person," she glances to the trooper walking up to his side, opening a sack for him to deposit the weapons in.

"I didn't bring any with me." he said. "Seemed like a bad idea."

[Meiyokashi]

"A good idea," she says with a sterness, nodding to the troopers the one with the bag steps away and a lower officer steps forward with the simple command, "Arms up!" and began to pat Jaxom down just to be certain. Starting through his things he eventually came across the spot where the spike was hidden and looked up to Jaxom.

"What is this?" he asks, the clear tone of uncertainty in his voice.

He reached into a pocket and pulled out his commlink.

"Sorry, it's an old model, prone to random frequency bursts. Interferes with all sorts of equipment."

"Hmm.." he looks back to his superior officer who gives him a nod. Reaching behind his back he pulls a small chip from his belt with a small magnetic pull to it. "Please place this on the device, this way our scanners will know it's been checked and accounted for."

He did as instructed. "Thank you."

(It will be in a moment. The only potential difference was an additional rank of stealth. I had hopped Hidden Storage could apply, but that requires vehicles or droids.)

With that business taken care of the security protocols were easy enough to follow. Escorted by the officer Jaxom was lead toward the security station by the elevator, it was crowded with Imperial troopers given the recent activity on the planet. At least double guard based on a quick glance from what he could tell. Coming up to a laser-security wall he was guided through the station where he was scanned into the main constructs space. From there he was lead toward one of the personnel elevators off the side of the main cargo elevator itself. Here he was accompanied by the most senior officer and her two troopers whom kept their flank covered.

Then there was the ascent, it was.. beautiful if he took the time to appreciate the quickly rising nature of the lift looking out all over the badlands, the swamp, and the city. Before they all flashed to black and then the occasional set of lights as it passed through a covered shield for exiting and leaving atmosphere.
