[D8ME] Wookie Teras Kasi Master 2: Mo' Wookiee Mo' Problems

"Everything's set, that I know of." Dhel says, stepping closer to offer Korvin a proper hug, tucking her face against his shoulder with a sigh as she deflates a bit, just taking comfort in contact for the anxiety that's never far beneath the surface these days. She holds him like that for one breath, two, before lifting her head to kiss his cheek. "I can grab us something if you want to pick out a seat. Just skip the weird synthetic orange thing on the right. Not sure what it's covered with, but it makes my fur spark like crazy."

[Korvin Hikarrin]

The quiet moments in that hug are soothing for Korvin too, and he doesn't want to let her go after the kiss on his cheek, but he does. He grunts something to indicate he's headed to find them seats, though his eyes track Dhel a few moments longer before he moves toward the couches.

Korvin opts for a worn but still poofy looking couch that's a little large for two people or a little small for 3. As he's taking off his well-worn racing jacket, there's a moment of self-conscious hesitation. With a deep breath and no further ado, he carefully unholsters a gleaming new blaster pistol from his hip and wraps it in the jacket. Taking a near invisible holster with a smaller blaster pistol from under one arm and wrapping it in the jacket too, he then slides the not-so-small bundle under the couch. Sitting down and taking another deep breath, he looks to see if he's drawn attention.

The stew is stored away in the fridge with only a few egg boxes moved aside for it to fit. The rest is distributed around the room before Sholua is happy enough to start her usual 'attached at the hip' moves on Manny.

"You did get the Wookiee Teras Kasi Master film we wanted out yes? The one with the six?"

[Manny Donos]

Tucking the cards away, Manny raised his hands and shook them, in the maneuver commonly known as 'Jizz Hands'. "Magic!" He said, grinning.

He was even happier when Sholua started the routine, his arm going around her waist. "Oh yeah." He grinned at her. "We're in for a treat! And also the opposite of a treat, whatever that is. But hey, it's all ready to go!"

He cheerfully lead Sholua over to the orange couch. Fortunately for Raven, there was one seat besides the two couches: a small but sturdy metal chair off to the side. It looked a little lonely and out of place, and sad somehow, like it was a chair that hadn't had sex on its wedding night.

Dhel busies herself with gathering a plate of snacks and two mugs of punch before spotting Korvin bundling away blaster #2, but she just raises an eyebrow and hands him a mug before settling herself as close as she can get without actually climbing onto his lap. So yeah, hips attached there too.

"Are any of these 6 wookiee actors even close to looking alike?" She asks while looking skeptically at the sad metal chair before squeezing just a bit tighter against Korvin and patting the couch on her other side. "Space here if you don't mind a bit of a tight fit, Raven?"

[Raven Cadera]

Raven watched the interaction of the group with a faint smile, and wordlessly stepped aside to begin taking off her armor. Even she liked to be comfortable if she was going to relax with a movie and food (and she hated eating messy food while wearing her armor).

It was with ease and well-practiced movements that the pieces of armor came off and were placed to the side, and she zipped down the body-glove to around her waist. "Sure you don't mind?" she asked with the offer of the couch, stretching a little, showing off her impressive muscles with the movement.

"Not even the same colour fur on any one of them."

She said in response to Dhel.

"Is Too Many coming? We'll need to leave space for him if he is."

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

Dhel's appreciative look up and down as Raven stretches is probably lost on everyone but Sholua. "Not in the least! Bothans are not a big 'personal space' species."

Answering Sholua, Dhel shrugs. "He tends to take up the floor since nothing's really big enough. Or you two can just snuggle on his lap and everyone's comfy."

[Manny Donos]

"Not sure." Manny shrugged. "No problem, he can catch up. Now... let's get started!" With his free hand, he picked up the remote, pressing play...

It began much as the first one did...

Action music began to play as the camera centered on a Wookiee, kneeling on a black floor, the rest of the room dark. CGI stone blocks flew in, circling the Wookiee... and then, with a mighty roar, he rose to his feet. With a series of powerful blows, punches and kicks, he struck the blocks, stone shattering and crumbling away. In the remnants of the stone blocks, words could be seen: Wookie Teras Kasi Master

But then a stone '2' flew from off screen, bonking the Wookiee on the head. Cartoon porgs spun around his head as the '2' settled into place with a thunk.

[Phroth Lissken]

Just as the title started, the Karkarodon walked in. He had been distracted the past few weeks, concerned with dealing with the darkness of the swamp, and the result of his duel.

He grinned, seeing those gathered, and plunked down on the floor, back against a wall, one leg outstretched to watch the film.

[Korvin Hikarrin]

Korvin, quietly amazed at how comfortable everyone seemed to be, was happy to have as little space between him and Dhel as possible. Thankful for having gotten his hardware out of the way, he still finds things crowded in certain ways that are not exactly "relaxing." He gives Dhel a squeeze to keep her close as he shifts his legs slightly, and seems to relax more. He doesn't notice Dhel's eyes on Raven because his eyes are already there, the armor ritual being nothing he has a frame of reference for. Totally an academic type interest.

And there's a giant shark person in the place. Right. Of course.

Dhel no doubt feels the heavy breath he takes before an appreciated drink from the mug, trying to focus on the movie. Even with his mind swirling a bit, he does noticeably snicker at the porgs.

[Sholua Tempes]

"You made it Too Many! Right every time Rawrbacca changes to a new actor we drink!"

She had her cup ready with something alcoholic.

[Manny Donos]

They would be drinking immediately, as the actor that appeared in the first scene was different from the one that appeared in the opening credits. "Drink!" Manny said, picking up a glass of Green, and taking a big sip.

It was snowing on Kashyyyk. Rawrbacca's padded softly through the snow as he approached a door to a dilapidated old building. He tried the door, but it clicked, not opening.

"Locked!" Rawrbacca grunted dramatically (dubbed again). "Luckily I brought my key. My... Wookiee!"

He punched through the door, revealing... a family of Wookiees. They looked at him a moment. He looked back at them.

"Happy Life Day, Rawrbacca!" They said in a chorus as everyone came together for a hug.

"Ohhhhhh I remember where this is going . . . "

She reached across and grabbed one of the dips Raven had made, she'd need food to stay sober for the 'party' most if not all of them were going to after.

[Raven Cadera]

Sliding into the couch next to Dhel and Korvin, her attention drifted to Phroth as he joined the gang as well. "Hey, good to see you too. Please share in the food."

With the blaring music (wow that new sound system really was impressive), it was hard not to focus back on the movie though. "Is the movie a drinking game?" she asked curiously of Sholua.

Wait, this movie was already confusing. Were there multiple wookies with the same name?!

[Sholua Tempes]

"It is with one this bad. So bad it's goooooooooooood."

[Manny Donos]

The movie continued. Manny had another sip of Green.

The problem was, the cake they were trying to make was too big! They tried to mix it, but the bowl was just too large. How could it be done?

Fortunately, Teras Kasi could be used to mix cake batter!

"Stir whip stir whip whip whip stir!" Rawrbacca growled as he mixed the batter, his mighty arms flexing. Actually, they were only somewhat mighty; this actor wasn't quite as swole as the last one.

[Sholua Tempes]

"I always forget to ask wookiees I meet if it's actually true they have to make their own Life Day Cake."

She took another drink at the switch in wookiee actor.

[Korvin Hikarrin]

Korvin is conflicted about whether he wishes he had a real drink in his hand to aid in the effort at relaxing here, or if he's actually relieved that Dhel had pushed the nonalcoholic punch at him so he doesn't have to stick to tiny sips to survive the drinking game.

Unfortunately, with Dhel so close she can probably hear his heart beat, it doesn't matter that conflict isn't evident on his face. He remains mostly successful in sitting respectably and just watching the movie. It just takes breathing slowly and occasionally closing his eyes as he does so.

[Raven Cadera]

"I... don't think I've ever seen anyone cook like that in the kitchen." Raven was kind of stunned at what she was seeing, forgetting to bring her drink to her lips as it just kind of halted on the way. "Must make for a pretty hairy cake too."

As the wookie switched color, she realised it wasn't multiple wookies by the same name. "Wait, what? Why do they look different now? Did something happen?"
