[D8 MM] The Other Side of the Tracks (open)

Deonis had never been to Sinclair's, he had heard of it obviously but he had never taken the kinds of jobs that led to him having the credits to be able to even look at the place, much less enter it.

But his luck had turned recently and he found himself with a relative wealth of credits. With everything coming he could think of one thing he needed and that was to give his armor a little edge against even the deadliest attacks.

Now going to Sinclair's or the upper city in general was no place for a walking armored hulk. Deo had decided that, considering an inquisitor literally knew where he slept, there was no need for total coverage all the time. So today he wore the only formal wear he owned, a suit of middling quality that was a touch too tight which made it look less classy but did accentuate his highly muscular frame. He walked up to the door with a plain white bag slung over his shoulder.

[J-Richo Toboga]

His cloak was washed and his armor clean, waxed and the sigils repainted: Not a suit but an ensemble that meant business nonetheless.

A mandalorian on business. Business that lead him to Sinclair's.

He had a few ideas of what he wanted and was convinced that the high-end weapon dealer could provide him with the item he wanted.

Deonis saw the Mandalorian and nodded "J-Richo right?" The deep voice rumbled out. Richo may not have recognized the large man but the voice was one he had heard before, though it usually came with modulation from a helmet speaker.

[J-Richo Toboga]

The lone mando looked around when his name was called and, but the tone of it only the large man could have spoken it.

''Yes, I am J-Richo of Clan Toboga.'' he confirmed ''Do I know you?''

[Deonis Harik]

The big man smirked a bit "Deonis. We've fought beside each other a couple times."

[J-Richo Toboga]

The helmet began nodding in recognition

''Yes. The warrior with a two-hander...not the type of weapon we see these days. Have you fully recovered from your wounds?'' he checked Deonis quickly as he asked

''The green man dished out quite the punishment. It is a testament to your endurance that you survived at all.''

[Deonis Harik]

Deonis nodded "a couple of memories gained but I recovered fine. The sword is old fashioned but never runs out of ammo. Resilience is good here to actually upgrade the armor." He said shrugging the bag on his shoulder.

"You did some good shooting." He remarked "sorry if I got in the way."

[J-Richo Toboga]

''I did my best given the situation but thank you. As for the battlefield situation...it was mostly inevitable. We were not coordinated nor did we have prior true battlefield experience with each other. '' he waved a s hand in dismissal ''We fought and won, that is all that matters''

He paused to muse about the equipment

''Swords are good when you can get to the enemy...but what kind of armor do you think of having?''

[Deonis Harik]

"Same armor I used during our fight. Its good solid stuff. taken more beatings than I can count." he said with a little chuckle "No I plan on seeing if Sinclair has any cortosis weave. good against just about anything. But if rumors are true could be especially useful soon."

[Meiyokashi]

As the two spoke the door remained closed, however- at this point in their conversation the door opened with Sinclair accompanying a woman out of the room. This woman was in the company of two other gentlemen wearing suits as neatly fine as she was. It was also a face Deonis would certainly recall, though hers bore no recognition of him.

"My employer's will continue to look forward to doing business with you, Sinclair. I believe that concludes today's exchange?" the Chiss woman says with that same military clip. Sinclair returning, "It does, a pleasure to receive you as always and do send along my regards," he says with his pleasant smile.

Deonis' yellow eyes look at the chiss woman for a beat. Certainly made sense, a place like this caters to anyone with the credits it seems but as she left he looked to the man inside "Sinclair I presume?" he asked

[Meiyokashi]

Bidding final farewells to the Chiss lawyer, he turns to Deonis with his flair, "The one and only, and to whom do I have the pleasure of meeting today?" he looks between the two but his brow furrows when he looks at Richo.

Deonis nodded to Sinclair "I am Deonis Harik. Bounty Hunter." he said in his normal tense terse fashion this place had a darker energy. Not so much like the swamp but like other parts of Bellionas a place of greed and despair wrapped in finery and elegance. "I hear you are the man to seek for expensive and hard to find arms and armor."

[J-Richo Toboga]

''And I am J-Richo of Clan Toboga'' he said with a nod

The frown did not indicate anything good

[Meiyokashi]

"You needn't wear your helmet in here, J-Richo. We service many of your kind but all feel welcome here, as should you," he says with his patent smile, letting that sit as he looks to Deonis. "And Deonis Harik, a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Come," he indicates for them to enter the establishment.

[J-Richo Toboga]

''I am glad you service my people and the quality of your services are well known but do not mistake my helmet for unease or reservation. It is simply that I never remove save for rare exceptions: one is maintenance, the other most recent one was adoption. This helm is essentially my face.''

He made a polite laugh, as bet he could that is

''So unless you are considering adoption into our people yourself...I would be much obliged if I could be allowed to keep it on''

I wondered if he could have been a protocol droid. He was not made for extended social encounter but once in a blue moon he could manage something decent...also this was not new and had been repeated quite often.

Deonis follows along listening to J-Richo's explanation. He had never thought to ask about the armor as he had also always been armored around the Mandalorian.

[Meiyokashi]

"I will find it harder to make more personalized suggestions perhaps, but.." he indicates the open door once more for the both of them.

[J-Richo Toboga]

The mandalorian inclines his head as thanks

''Thank you Monsieur Sinclair. You are a gentlemen''

[Meiyokashi]

As they were guided inside the two walked into the immaculate space that was Sinclair's. Weapons were arranged on the walls and in various ornate cases. Statues flanked either side and the space was opulent in it's feeling just as much as the outside waiting space had been. A burgundy carpet covers the floor as they're lead within and Sinclair takes up a position in front of the two after closing the door.

Facing them both her looks between them, "Now.. what is your pleasure that you seek, my fine gentlemen," he says with his patent smile.
