Day 8 LM- Amongst our people

[Rezzie]

Rezzie tries to step back when Solork comes up into her face but only backs up against the crate, leaning herself against it she tries to give as much space between her face and his as possible. Hands going up by her sides, "Whoa, okay, down boy," she waves them down and shoos him back.

"Look," she looks over Solork toward Richo, "Your.. pe'nr* here is real impressive but he ain't Mando'ade just because you claimed him and taught him a few tricks," she raises her palm a bit, "and I'm not really here to care or judge but-" she glances toward the camp- "others are. You wave him around like he's Mando'ade? You're both gonna get beat. You don't know the language, you don't have beskar, you don't have a clan of any size to claim you beyond.. you," she points at Richo, "nobody's got a Mand'alor and we're not looking."

"Best you got is you look.. capable?" she shrugs, "But hey- I didn't ask your whole history and neither will anyone else here if you just.. keep the proclamations on the downlow, yea?"

Sol returns to the side to J-Richo and turns back. "That seems to be fair and wise advice. If one feels a need to ardently say what they are, such as "I am in charge here" or "I am not afraid" then the words themselves belie it.

"Neither of us" Sol looks at his arms brother. "Feel a need to dictate our path to you and yours." He offers a bark of laughter. "I think we all know how that would go. Our hopes are simply that we may know each other, and that we share a mutual respect. Because, in case it wasn't obvious, we extend to you and yours."

A beat later Sol leans in to whisper to Richo "So, what did she call me?"

''Dog'' he said to Solork ''Dog was the word''

He returned his attention to the young chiss

''It is as he said: we have our ways, you have yours. Extended families don't always go along but they are still family. Ba'jur, beskar'gam,
Ara'nov, aliit, Mando'a bal Mand'alor, An vencuyan mhi. Verd ori'shya beskar'gam, a Mando'ad naas ures Resol'nare.

(Education, armour, Self-defence, clan, Our language, our leader, All help us survive. These simple tenets are what makes one a Mando'ad, and nothing else.)

"Riiight-" she looks from Sol, then to Richo as he recites. Quirking a brow at him with a light frown, "Okay.. you both just try not to get yourselves hurt now then, yea?" she says, collecting her helmet and shifting out from between them and the crate she backed herself up into.

Stepping back away slowly she looks round for somewhere else to be, holding the helmet at her side.

''Nice talking to you and thanks for the advice, despite everything'' he waved ''Good luck in your battle on the morrow''

He paused then turned to Solork

''Everyone is a critic, ain't it?''

Sol offers a bark of laughter, the synth from his vocabulator making is hiss.

"Silly mistake. We have more teeth and are more relentless hunters" He looks back at the retreating woman. "So not open to being allies but not overtly hostile. I suppose that's an improvement.*

He extends an arm "Vi tal'galar go"

Turning around she walks away, waving an arm back toward them.

He turned momentarily to Solork

''The proper goodbye is Vode An. We can keep our motto for the battlefield but this is not it.'' he looked ahead ''Standing tall is one thing but an overly aggressive behavior will not do. These are not our enemies''

[Solork Tan]

"That was to you brother" Sol shuffles, a bit embarassed. "I thought she was already done with us"

[J-Richo Toboga]

''Oh'' he paused ''I thought she was leaving too...erm''

He glared at the camp

''Man....we suck at socializing''

[Solork Tan]

Sol pauses a beat. "Would SCaT be the most social of us?" The Gank thinks on it. "We might need a negotiator"

Richo pauses a second as well

''Yes...he might be. So he'll be our face when he joins?'' he stared ''That...hum...yeah...he's a go getter though.''
