"Interesting. Let us talk to your people and see if we can coarse them to be helpful. Like my companion said, we don't wish to harm anyone, the less bodies, the easier the clean up." Nelk looked around the build site, "We'll start there," She points towards some workers hauling wooden beams.

Torr follows along behind Nelk, "Agreed. Of course I don't mind turning the fools over to the sisters if they can't be reasoned with. There's a time and a place for workers rights. Here and now is neither."

Jaxom nodded in agreement and followed.

"Feel free," she gestured them onward. "I, however, have plenty of other business to attend," she dips her head, and says nothing more as she walks off to said business. Leaving the group to approach and question the group they found at their leisure.

[Nelk]

Nelk approaches the workers calmly but with an air of authority. "Good morning. I hear you may know something about that reprobate that abandoned his post, what was his name? Tair'olan? The Nikto. My name is Nelk," she gestured towards the other feline, "This is Torr," and to the human, "and Jaxom."

[Meiyokashi]

"Not sure what that is- but yea," the biggest of the bunch steps forward, looking between them as they're introduced. "Him and some o' the others took off when things got.. uh, what's the word the blue lady uses?" he glances toward one of the others. "Untenable," a rodian says, about half the size of the bigger fellow.

"Yea- untemable. Why're ya askin'?"

[Nelk]

"We understand your plea and will try to help with your compensation requests, but that will be a whole lot easier if we can bring those who left back. Do you know where we might find them?"

[Torr Po]

"Not sure what that is- but yea," the biggest of the bunch steps forward, looking between them as they're introduced. "Hahahhahaha," Torr snickered, "Good one."

"Look," Torr attempted to play to their better nature. "The fact is that your friend is in need of a friend. We are here to act as intermediaries in this labor dispute... we hope to reach equitable terms for all involved parties." He thumbs back at the overseer lowering his voice, "With these we will have our hands full. But it matters little since you so far hold the upper hand in these critical negotiations."

[Meiyokashi]

"No.." he looks between them both, uncertain, a look of distrust in the eye. "But even if I did," he says with a huff. "Most any of us knew he was goin' on hard times.. needed more money for his folk, or somethin'. Lived around nearby.."

Jaxom was able to spy one of the others subtly trying to make their way out of the room, a Twi'lek woman. As they get to the back door she and Jaxom lock eyes and she bolts for it!

"Stop her!" Jaxom pointed the Twi'lek out before starting to run. He was not very good at running.

Torr attempts to chase after the Twileck, but he's so tired after running across town and fighting a battle that he fails epically. "Soooo, tired," he pants, "can't... keep.... ugghhhhh." He gives up.

[Nelk]

Nelk chases after the Twi'lek woman, passing her slower companions and is able to tackle her to the ground, roughly, smashing into some rubble. "Little help!" Nelk yells to her team as she holds the woman down.

While Jaxom and Torr end up stumbling over themselves and perhaps even each other, unable to keep up pursuit, Nelk quickly makes up for their loss and gains on the Twi'lek. When she does and grabs hold the woman fights and both together fall into a pit within the construction area and fall down a floor with a loud crack. Each reeling from the force of the hit.

Groaning in pain the Twi'lek tries to get up but finds it far too painful. "Kanway, da kouikei," she mutters to herself in Huttesse.

"E chu ta, this is why you don't run. Did you really think you'd get away? Look, we don't want to hurt you, anymore than we have to," she looks at the blood on the twi'lek. "Tell us what you know, now!"

Nelk throttled the Twi'lek by the collar of her shirt. "Where is he!?"

[Meiyokashi]

"Hey hey," she raises her arms in defensive posture, shielding her face, "I- look, I just, he's a good guy alright, sheesh," she coughs, dust from their fall falling into her mouth a little and she spits it out to the side. "Just- okay.. relax," she says, and as she settles a moment she gives Nelk the instructions, street numbers and directions in a paced manner to make sure she was understood.

"I just.. just don't hurt 'em, okay? He ain't a bad sort."

[Torr Po]

Torr helps Jaxom to his feet and then stumbles over to the pit. Looking down he just grins at Nelk from the floor above, "First the green skin, and now her, is there anyone you won't fall for?"

[Nelk]

"I haven't fallen for anybody, this was a legitimate tackle, you vagrant drunk!" Nelk stands up in the pit and dusts herself off before extending a hand to the Twi'lek. "He better be there, or a tackle," She glares at Torr, "is the least of your worries."
