D8 EE: The Good Smugglers

[The SCaT Droid]

SCaT works through general criminal elements to find wherever Julo is. A rusty droid doesn't draw too much attention, especially when the head is covered up with rags. Now to begin looking for clues.

[Meiyokashi]

Julo would have left a trail through Mara on how to reach him. With a quick note toward her she would be able to get SCaT the information he needed, and so they did. Coming upon an apartment building he would ascend to the 24th floor and go halfway down the hallway. Entering into a broom closet there was another smaller storage space within that lead to a hidden room. In here Julo looks out between boards on a window as Arwen paces around the room, still missing his one arm.

[The SCaT Droid]

"Good evening Julo, sir. Is there any chance I could ask for some assistance to find a certain kind of job? One that only an honorable lawbreaker would be willing to do?"

[Julo]

Turning with his wheelchair to face the droid he smiles briefly, chuckling, "Certain kind of job? 'fraid if I understand your right I can't be of much help, I'm sorry. We're trying to lay low best we can here while things continue to proceed but.. after the attack by the Empire," he glances to Arwen who seems uncomfortable with even admitting that much. Arwen takes the opportunity to walk into the refresher and closes the door behind him.

"Sorry.." Julo chuckles briefly, "Anyway.. after the attack we're laying low. Trying to keep our heads out of most business to not stir up too much a fuss but I hear Mara and her people are planning for something big, might be best to focus on preparing for that I wager."

[The SCaT Droid]

"I meant for after Mara's gig. I know this is going to take a lot of time to figure out, and I'm not sure if you guys have to put too much at risk personally. I am going to join a budding group and we need some resources and figured we could take them from some slavers. I was hoping we could snatch a ship, escort some escaped slaves to a safe place, maybe even make some connections of our own so we can take more initiative later."

[Meiyokashi]

"Ahh.." he nods, a soft smile. "I understand now. Yes, I think we can do that. How about this.." he wheels himself over toward one of the nearby surfaces, on there he finds a pad with some paper. Writing down the name of a bar and a planet. "After we're done here.. go there, and we'll be able to set something up, hmm? Get you contacted by the right kind folk you're lookin' for."

[The SCaT Droid]

(Any chance I know this planet or should we leave it vauge for future plots?)

"Anything I need to know before heading to this bar?"

[Meiyokashi]

"Just keep safe, eh? It's seedy," he says with a brief smile.

[Just vague for future plots!]

[The SCaT Droid]

"Like Tatooine seedy or Nar Shadaa?"

(Just had to end on a joke, /scene?)

[Julo]

"Ever been in the bowels of Coruscant?" he returns with a grin, and a laugh.
