Well that made sense as to why he'd been at the site two weeks back, and the pistol tricks were due to Kamino expertise headstart.

"And what do you do, Miss Sol?"

She was really interested here. Zeltrons usually got up to some crazy things.

[Soleene Stryss]

"Private investigator? That's pretty interesting," she took another sip and fiddled with the slice of waterapple hanging at the edge of her glass. "I think I saw another investigator type around here a while back. I don't know if he did all that. He's a pictures sort of person and sometimes does private investigation for...couples."

Sol took a bite from the waterapple and chewed before speaking again. There was a faint coy smile on her lips. "Me? Hah. I'd say I usually stand around and look pretty...but if I could help it, my business is getting in people's faces physically and stomping them down. You know, the sort of thing that lends pretty well to bounty hunting, protection and other mercenary work."

Well that was a surprise. She expected Zeltrons to be physical . . . in other ways than the enforcing skills.

"Well then, plenty of work for both of you in this city then."

[Soleene Stryss]

There had to be someone local who had to watch all of the bars, clubs, and beach parties.

"There's enough to keep me busy, that's for sure. Maybe too much work...I've been hoping that it would a little less stressful around here." She said with a shrug before taking a few sips from her drink. "How about you?"

[Tenzing]

Tens nodded serious at the first comment. "It can be interesting for sure. It can also be eating lots of doughnuts and drinking kaff all day for days on end." He chuckled. "Oh yeah, I met him. Carden, right?"

He was pretty impressed by her job description and agreed with Sholua. "Yeah, plenty to keep you afloat around here. Did an occasional Bounty myself. Been a while though." He politely waited to find out more about the Mirialan, if she was willing to share beyond the dancing.

"Yeah, that's likely the same guy I'm talking about. So if there's the bit with the kaf and doughnuts, do you also do the whole bit with the stakeouts? Stop me if it sounds like I've watched too many things on the holonet. It's apparently my theme tonight..." She said before finishing her drink and waving over the bartender to get another, hold the umbrellas.

"Me? I'm a dancer, occasional escort and even more occasional skilled member of the job ensemble."

They'd probably guess what the last meant, she hadn't intended to hide it.

Sol was familiar with those job titles on Zeltros, although some might even consider it less an occupation and merely a way of life. It was unusual to see a spiritual Mirialan take to the occupation, then again, what could be said about herself?

"Oh...do people typically need to be escorted around the dance studio sometimes? Do people get lost easily?" She said as clearly a coy joke.

She grinned in return.

"Well sometimes the customer can't find the ass from the elbow. Or vice versa."

[Soleene Stryss]

Sol gave a small shrug on the matter and smirked. "In that case, I think that would have to put you more in an education role too? I don't think most teachers can really give out experience in quite the same way, however."

[Sholua Tempes]

"Don't think I'm licensed to teach . . . "

[Tenzing]

"Yeah, that's likely the same guy I'm talking about. So if there's the bit with the kaf and doughnuts, do you also do the whole bit with the stakeouts? Stop me if it sounds like I've watched too many things on the holonet. It's apparently my theme tonight..." She said before finishing her drink and waving over the bartender to get another, hold the umbrellas.

"Yeah, sometimes. It's much less glamorous than the holos make out though. And you aren't the only one." He gave an understanding smile.

"Don't think I'm licensed to teach . . . "

"You sure you need a license for that?" Tens smirked and went to grab another drink of some sort from the bar.

When Soleene received her next drink, she gave it a quick glance to make sure that there was no umbrella hiding there before taking a sip from it. "I would say fair enough on that front. Beating up people isn't all that glamorous either. Most of the time, you don't actually beat anyone and you're not supposed to be starting any fights. Kind of like this place."

She nodded along to Tenzing's words. "What...are they actually going to call an inspector to check your license in the middle of a job?"

[Sholua Tempes]

"With that kind of teaching the inspector is going to be someone like Madame Saph, and she doesn't interrupt lessons if you know what I mean."

This was getting uncomfortably close to her past for her liking.

[Soleene Stryss]

As fun as they were, Soleene got a feeling that the euphemisms were going to get carried away from them and they might end up talking about merry-go-rounds or playground swings.

She took out a slight of citrus from her cup and looked pensive for a moment. "You said Madame Saph? Any relations to those ruins in the city? I kind of wandered in to do some ghost hunting and found anything but...actually, far from ghosts. I still don't think I got the whole story from there."

[Sholua Tempes]

Sholua glanced at Tenzing, he'd also said he knew Saph.

"One and the same, although she tries to leave that bit of the past behind. I mean Saphs had girls and a few boys dancing right in your face from the entrance and all the way through. Things here are much more . . . upmarket."

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene smirked at the imagery of that. "Sounds far more in your face than a lot of places around here, that would have been a neat place to visit...So the madam just decided to just up and move one day, change clientele? It wasn't because of a tragic foreclosure?"

[Sholua Tempes]

"She wasn't who everyone thought she was, and the place was far shadier than it looked."

She took a sip of her beer and grimaced at bad memories.

"She used to take in girls off the street that needed a job, needed help . . . and she used them until they had nothing left to give. The 'histories' say the place got trashed in a riot and was beyond repair. Truth is one of the girls got smart, rallied a lot of the others to her cause and staged a coup. Place got trashed in the resultant chaos and Madame Saph slipped away. Few years later the Sapphire Lounge right here opened. Some of us . . . " She nodded at Tenzing ". . . remember enough to be sure it's the same woman running things here."

[Tenzing]

Tens nodded. "This place runs like none of that ever happened. But it did." He looked around at the obvious wealth on display.

"Memory is funny thing where credits are concerned. Play the right tune and no-one gives a crap about the truth." He shrugged. "Then again, people can change. Doesn't mean they will, but it happens."

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene frowned deeply upon learning the sordid history of the house and stood firming from the bar. "Is that what happened around here now? Ah, hell! Why aren't we trashing this place and doing the same to it now then?!"

She paused to look around, likely she would be shot ten ways to next week without her armour and arms at the moment. "I mean...why aren't we trashing this place soon?"
