Even Mandalorian Need Rest (D10, Mid-Afternoon. Mando Safehouse)

Meanwhile, there was a knuckle knocking against the door.

[Raven Cadera]

Raven watched Praxton bring in the food, meeting his gaze with an understanding smile as she leaned against one of the chairs. It was only one new person here, technically, as he already knew Manny.

She was about to move after him to the kitchen to check if he needed help when there was the knock on the door. "I'll get that. Someone can go see if Praxton needs help with anything in the kitchen, before the food gets cold."

Holding the good hand to her side, Raven moved over to the door and checked the peephole first before opening.

[Manny Donos]

"Yeah, you get practiced at it." Manny said cheerfully. "I've gotten pretty good at catching stuff, so now I kinda like it when they throw food, because I'm like hey, free food."

"Speaking of... whoa, that looks great!" Smiling cheerfully, Manny pulled out his pistol, snatching up a handful of meat with the other hand. "Mmm! It's like wings, but not!" He said cheerfully, keeping one eye on Raven at the door.

[Sofia Hargrave]

Holding the good hand to her side, Raven moved over to the door and checked the peephole first before opening.

Outside there was a young woman with pink to blue hair wearing shades, stepping away from the door she leaned on the opposite side. In her out and about outfit there was a very light jacket for the rain thrown over the tighter fit top. Putting her leg up behind her for support she leans against the opposite wall. Holding in each hand a bag of some type, one with a logo she can't make out and the other just a small carry-bag.

As Raven checks she was mid-way through blowing a bubble.

"Now who invited their girlfriend, I wonder," Raven commented, glancing over to the group. Ironically she was thinking it was Varina... little did she know.

Opening the door, she straightened to block most of the door-frame. "Sofia? What brings you here?" There was a bit of a smile behind the question.

[Sofia Hargrave]

Sofia leans forward near the same time as the door opens naturally, but stops walking forward suddenly as she sees someone unexpected. Surprise partially hidden behind the water-marked sunglasses she was wearing. A brow raises above the top of the glasses, "I.." she gives both arms a little lift, "care package- do I know you? We didn't have a bad breakup or something right?"

[Raven Cadera]

"Probably don't recognize me without the armor and helmet," she replied with a low chuckle, before adding in for clarification. "Raven. You're here to see someone...?"

[Sofia Hargrave]

"Uh- yea, pretty gal with blue hair strong as a Wookie who just lost a game fair and square but with the manners of someone who can hold a decent conversation," she chuckles, briefly. "Well- really good, she's great, anywayyy," she glances aside a moment, over Raven's shoulder but can't make out much.

"Heard that she was laid up after getting into something of a tussle? Thought I'd swing by with a little care-package," she raises the small carry bag, "icepacks and.. stuff like that, help tend the wounds a little make 'em comfy. Then," she raises the other bag Dol's bakery insignia is on there, "some treats."

[Soleene Stryss]

Oh hey, now the meal had arrived! It was more than likely a late lunch than an early dinner. Soleene quickly wolfed down the remainder of her pastry so that she could partake in some carbs and protein, as well as whatever else Praxton had also prepared.

She gave a glance at the knocking at the door, wondering who else could be here. Perhaps Jyrvess or Varina's mother? There wasn't a shortlist of who could find themselves there right now...

Upon hearing Sofia's name, Soleene nudged her way through a few people and pieces of furniture to appear behind Raven, flashing a sheepish smile at Sofia. "...Oh, hey, Sofia!"

[Raven Cadera]

"Ah... it seems the visitor is for you then, sister," Raven smiled, but seemed obviously confused. As if someone had done a fast-trick on her. Chuckling, she backed off from the doorway to let Soleene handle it.

Soleene had as much right to invite guests she trusted too after all.

Walking gingerly away from the door, Raven look to the kitchen. "Need help with anything?"

[Sofia Hargrave]

"Speaking of treats," she tilts her head to the side, a resting smile. Sofia locks her gaze on Soleene for a moment before her smile shifts into a smirk and looks to Raven, "That's the one I'm talking about, riiight there," she says, chuckling.

Looking to Soleene again she gives her arms a little raise to show off the bags, "Hey. Brought ya stuff."

Walking up to Soleene she lowered her head so the glasses would fall down her nose a little, and then looks up to Soleene over them. In that little more personal space she doesn't say anything, just looks up to her and smiles for the moment.

[Praxton]

Walking gingerly away from the door, Raven look to the kitchen. "Need help with anything?"

"You're on bed duty, your hands are full enough," he says, casting her a brief look and a rare smile. A fair number of plates were actually made up with food. Seemingly, without thought to call everyone in to grab there own stuff he'd elected himself to set up the plates for everyone and pass them out.

"I'm injured, not crippled," Raven joked, taking her plate when it was offered to her, and halting him just long enough to kiss his cheek. "Thank you though. I appriciate it. And remember to say hi to Dhel, hm? She's the only one here so far you haven't met before."

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene could only give a small embarrassed shrug at Raven, not sure how to explain herself. She probably wasn't going to.

"Speaking of treats," she tilts her head to the side, a resting smile. Sofia locks her gaze on Soleene for a moment before her smile shifts into a smirk and looks to Raven, "That's the one I'm talking about, riiight there," she says, chuckling.

She did give her the directions here but perhaps thought that she might have slept past Sofia's visit or she would only mail something over. There were no hard feelings if Sofia had to flit elsewhere.

Soleene put one of the bags on a table by the door and chortled as Sofia looked at her through the glasses. She stepped closer to the human and placed a hand around her waist to pull her closer together so that they could look at each other face to face. "I'm glad you could drop by."

[Praxton]

There was the shift, a hand that wanted to part her side as she kissed his cheek but with his hands full it wound up just being more of an awkward nudge than anything. Still, he nods, "I'll.. be sure to," and commits.

[Varina Ordo]

Varina watched, well, just about all the couplings happening in the room. She looked down at her jacket, still a bit scorched from getting shot up. Who was she going to call? Rezzie? That lady had weird eyes. Jyrvess? No, that was a weird age gap. Claymore? Kind of weird after he'd shouted at her mom. Sure, she did that, but that was her business. That one cute dude from her first day on the planet? No...

The teen went to grab a beer and stood in the corner. Brooding. Watching. They don't know about how to do kip-ups.

The spread on the table was quite varied, and for those not used to Mandalorian cuisine like Dhel and Manny, there were still some recognizable dishes in there that Raven had shared with them before.

There were little dumplings that were probably more like miniature meat-pies, skewered meat of various kinds with plenty of spices along with seasoned rice, bread for picking up the various pieces and dips, more meat stuffed into balls and fried kind of what some would call croquettes, and a small array of dipping sauces and pastes. All in all there was something here to suit most, and it was clearly a meal that was more to be shared at leisure as it let the ones eating pick and choose what they felt like eating.

Raven was already having a mouthful of the deep-fried meat, sighing blissfully. "Why do you always make it taste better than when I make it?" she commented casually, mostly to praise Praxton's cooking.

Another resident had awoken to the smell of food; the resident mini-panther was slinking around in hopes of snatching something tasty.

[Soleene Stryss]

Smile brightening a little as she was pulled in Sofia's now free hand came to a rest on Soleene's side. Looking up to her she gave a brief nod, "When I heard you went and got yourself beaten up for someone else after all that teasing of it the other night for me I just had to see," she teases, smirking. Bringing her hand up around her side she rests it on her back, brushing gently. Leaning up onto the front pads of her feet she kisses Soleene on the cheek. Settling down her eyes glance to her lips but she settles back, "How're you feeling?"

"Well...more shot up than beat up but I guess I got a share of bruises out of it either way." She said before smirking abashedly on the matter. "I'd like to think they are kind of badges of honour in a way. It was a good fight."

The kiss brought a small smile on her lips and it was perhaps each to follow Sofia's eyes on what she was looking at. The evening was enough to give her a good idea of her habits in many ways. "I was feeling sore, tired and hungry...but I'm feeling like I'm already on the path to recovery like nothing can really keep me down. Good, in short."

"Are you headed somewhere after this?" She asked her curiously.

"Well...more shot up than beat up but I guess I got a share of bruises out of it either way." She said before smirking abashedly on the matter. "I'd like to think they are kind of badges of honour in a way. It was a good fight."

Looking up into her eyes she rocks a little in that little happy moment. Slipping hers into Soleene's she interlocks her fingers without much fanfare, "Nowhere that can't wait for me. Want to show me those badges of honor? Or-" she shrugs, "whatever else?" she laughs lightly, a brightness to the smile.
