Hope [Day 10, MM, Closed]

[Meiyokashi]

Leading through the winding path of the cavern the fox-like being hopes across rock to rock, leading up toward the path where the now completely dead tree sits. Faster, smaller, and far more agile the creature is near the top looking down by the entrance before Phroth would catch up. Sitting atop it the light rays from the rising sun shine down into the center of the room behind it.

[Phroth Lissken]

The place wasn't what it had been. All stone, and cold. Nothing like the vibrancy of life before. Yet death wasn't unnatural. It was part of the cycle of Life. All things returned to the Force, in their own time.

The Karkarodon looked to the creature, then to the tree. Wilted, the bark no where near what a living plant would be. A webbed hand placed on a rock, as the athletic padawan approached.

[Meiyokashi]

Leading him further, just behind the tree, the creature walks past a small pool of water and to the far side behind a patch of rocks.

[Phroth Lissken]

"Where... are you taking me..." he asked, barely above a whisper, yet he didn't stop following. Careful footfalls over the rocks, as he slowly made his way past the patch.

[Meiyokashi]

Coming around the corner the creature lead Phroth to a small little space, a bush dead to the side rested in its solemn peace. However, the creature went beyond that and into a small alcove and toward the back. Curling up in a small bead of light making its way through the rock ceiling. Inside, amid a small portion of grass was a single determined flower.

[Phroth Lissken]

He knelt beside the small amount of grass. His maw a warm, somber smile. Looking at the determination of the flower. Even as everything else was dead.

There was this little mote of light. Hope, a small ember, struggling to stay lit. The words of his old master repeated in his mind.

"Absolutely beautiful..." he whispered, watching the flower.

For the brief moment in the presence of it, there was the hope of something again. A future worth fighting for. As long as Phroth wished, he could remain here basking in it's presence just as the fox-creature intended to do as well.

He stilled himself, quieting down his thoughts, centering himself. Letting the Living Force guide him, while meditating on the here. The now.

And most importantly, how he would help those who needed it.
