Lassa Tenro Questioning (D1 MM)

[Lassa Tenro]

Lassa waited quietly in a small room for an inspector to arrive. She figured there was some request put in to stop her once she arrived and direct her towards her new place of work... but there was always a biting suspicion in her mind; one that often kept her alive.

[Meiyokashi]

Outside from the main thoroughfare the Imperial presence within the starport is undeniable. Walking past officers as well as patrolling troopers in abundance as she's lead into the back room where they had her await further instruction. Then, again, they lead her forward into a small room with a lone desk and two chairs. In here they searched her for any contraband and then informed her to wait until someone was available for her.

This process took the better part of the hour.

And wait she did...

She was seasoned enough to have had anything suspicious in her possession sent separately to where she would be staying.

[Alder Divo]

"Lassa Tenro," the familiar voice came as he entered the room. Walking around to the other side of the table he played with a match between his fingers. Looking down to her from this position with a thoughtful smile.

"Interesting. Quite the coincidence we have both found ourselves uprooted and here on Bellionas now, hmm?"

[Lassa Tenro]

Lassa nodded politely in greeting, “Agent Divo. An unexpected pleasure! It has been far too long.”

[Alder Divo]

"And yet not long enough, considering last we met was around the same time as the unfortunate incident that overtook that planet. One that many of the people there are still suffering because of, despite the Empires best efforts," he says with a long sigh as he sits across from Lassa. Looking to her with a quirked brow, ever playing with the match in his hand.

[Lassa Tenro]

She nodded solemnly. “Truly regrettable. I only wish I could have been of more assistance. The rebels cost Governor Talcik his post and by extension my own job... though in comparison... that was the least of all the consequences on Kamda of course.”

She continued, “I hope to be of better use to Dr. Novar. I do not have much experience with Bellionas, however. Perhaps there may be opportunity to pick your brain on current affairs at some point... If you would be so inclined that is.”

[Alder Divo]

Divo set his hands down on the table for a moment, palm in palm. Watching and measuring her as he let a few second pass before he shook his head, "No, I'm afraid either you or I are likely to be far too busy for either of that. Especially considering you will have Dr. Novar to attend to, a rather demanding woman at times I hear."

"Of course," he reaches to the side and pulls a datapad from a recess in the desk where they sit, "That is after we free you from your responsibilities here. After all, employed by Dr. Novar as you are the reasons which brought you back here must clearly have been a mistake," he glances over her a moment, gauging her reaction.

[Lassa Tenro]

She nodded, “I assumed it was a mistake. I don’t know why I would’ve been pulled aside. When I saw you I thought that perhaps that was the reason...”

[Alder Divo]

"It is a preferred tactic of mine to separate resistance elements from one another in places such as this. At least, those foolish enough to both be on my radar and traveling through public channels," he suggested with the slight distraction in his tone while he reads through the information presented on the datapad in front of him. Finding the recess again he slides the datapad back into the desk.

"Alright, it should have all been taken care of now, Ms. Tenro. My apologies once again on behalf of the security bureau here and do send along my well wishes when you speak with Dr. Novar, hmm?" he asks with a faint smile, his hand busy with the flipping of the match.

[Lassa Tenro]

Lassa took on a look of slight surprise, “Oh no... don’t tell me they’ve transferred me to another hotspot of rebel activity...”

She shook her head slightly in an expressed exasperation.

“I will tell the good doctor that she has a capable man here to help her. We’ll be relying on you Agent Divo. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist you.”

[Alder Divo]

Alder watches her for a moment, thinking to himself in the space. However, he indicates the door as it slides open. Retracting his other hand from a button underneath the desk, "You will be the first to know, Ms. Tenro."

[Lassa Tenro]

“At your service.” She said with a polite curtsy before she turned to exit.

[Meiyokashi]

One of the people outside found her looking around and aided her in finding her way out from the back of the spaceport and on her way into the city proper.
