Surprise! [D11LA]

[Manny Donos]

Well. It had been quite a day. A day and a half. Whatever. It was over, and it was about time to leave.

Whistling cheerfully, Manny made his way through the hangar to his ship. They'd be taking off again. Now he had a copilot. Geez, he had a full crew! Something he'd always wanted...

Smiling and still whistling, he made his way up the ramp...

[Sholua Tempes]

There had obviously been a delivery while he was out. A big delivery. A large packing crate of seafood, addressed to Captain Donos had been left at the top of the ramp.

Nothing suspicious here. No sirree.

"Teehee"

Just a large crate of seafood. Same logo on the side as all the regular shipments that showed up here. Definitely fishy.

A truly large box for seafood. Manny would be able to feed an army for weeks or maybe Phroth for a few days at least.

"My leg is cramping."

[Manny Donos]

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..." Frowning curiously, Manny stepped forward, opening the lid with a great heave...

And the first one to unfold from the box was a large heavily muscled red creature who emerged quickly stretching his arms and grunting loudly with relief though the loud noise could be interpreted many different ways likely.

"Oh finally!" He exclaimed and looked down to Manny "Hello captain Donos."he said fixing Manny with a direct yellow eyed stare.

[Sholua Tempes]

"Teehee"

Said the lower levels of the box.

[Manny Donos]

"Aughhhh!" Stumbling back, eyes wide, Manny reached into his vest, pulling something out. He stumbled, but not before he launched it towards the threatening stranger.

It was an egg, naturally.

And then he fell back, landing on his butt.

"Owwwwwww..." He said. "Uhh... hi?"

[Deonis Harik]

The egg bounced off Deonis' muscular chest and he looked down at it catching it before it fell on the other inhabitants of the crate.

Deonis stepped out and strode to where Manny had fallen reaching out a hand "Apologies. I am Deonis." He said as he offered the young captain a hand up.

[Sholua Tempes]

The crate burst out laughing.

[Manny Donos]

Manny stared up at the big guy for a moment, then grinned. "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Deonisssssssssss..."

He accepted the hand up. "How's it going? I'm Manny! Manny the magician. I hear you're gonna be coming with us! Welcome aboard."

Ruefully, rubbing his butt, he looked at the crate. "Who all is in there, anyway?"

A very amused Sholua popped up out of the box next.

"Hello Cutey! Have you missed me?"

Manny grinned at her. "Hey, babe. You bet I did." He looked back and forth between the two yet revealed. "So who's idea was this, anyway?"

He looked at the box, frowning suddenly. "So... there's not actually seafood in there, right?"

Sholua looked down.

"Depends on how broad a definition you use . . . "

[Deonis Harik]

Deonis had a firm as hell grip which was likely unsurprising due to his appearance "I have been better Manny. The box was quite full." He replied honestly.

"I am excited to join the crew." His tone was fairly flat but he didn't seem to be being sarcastic "I appreciate you agreeing to it."

[Phroth Lissken]

As if on cue about the seafood, the large Karkarodon slowly rolled out of the box. It wasn't exactly a graceful movement, as he had wedged himself in to make as much room. While the operation had been a humorous thought.

"I think we can conclude I am not a Mantellian Pretzel." He stretched out on the floor, not quite moving yet.

[Manny Donos]

"Phroth too? Oh man!" Manny laughed, shaking his head, slapping his knee... doing a little dance. "Man, you guys really went all out! I'm impressed! That's great!"

He grinned at them. "Is that everyone? Or is Dhel in there? She's small, it's easy to fit her all sorts of places..."

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

Dhel peeks out from the far corner. Of the group, she was probably the least fussed by the whole process. Small, and frankly fond of as much contact as she could get was pretty ideal for being smushed in a box with some of her favorite people.

"Hey, Manny!" She looks him up and down, given the injuries others are sporting, it's good to see him looking pretty much like always. "I'd say I forgot that you hadn't met Deonis yet, but I'd be lying." She uncurls from her corner to stand at the edge of the crate, leaning to rest her crossed arms comfortably on the lip of it. "Gonna need some help getting out."

Deonis turned to Dhel and scooped her out of the container giving her a quick kiss on the top of her head before setting her down. "I hope it was worth it. I think I'll have a knot in my back for weeks." He look sympathetically at the prone Phroth who was even taller than Deonis. That crate could not have been a fun experience for him.

He looked around at those assembled "This is the crew?" He asked looking to each of them again and back to Manny.

Dhel's glance up at him is concerned. "Ah, sorry. Maybe there was a less cramped plan to get past security...kinda got carried away with the funny on this one once it came up" She runs one hand down his back, not actually expecting said knot to make itself known to so light a touch. " I'll try and work on that knot later?"

"But yeah, this is the crew, other than Leah." She grins. "And you've met Manny's eggs too, so I think everyone's properly introduced."
