High Rolling [Varina]

[Varina Ordo]

Varina glanced at the pistol hand and did her best to keep her sabacc face. And she was rather bad at sabacc. "Oh, uh, should I be glad that you don't have two of your blasters to practice on me?"

She shut her eyes. Stupid response, stupid question. Restart time. "I like you enough to travel around with you. Aaaaaand I don't say that too often. Heck, I didn't even travel around with Raven, although that was kind of also because of the Enclave..."

[Rezzie]

Standing there Rezzie measures Varina for just a bit more than ten seconds or so, looking down at her with both hands at the ready. With a smile she 'draws' her hand on her hip, leaving the other one sitting on her blaster, holding out a finger-gun she points at Varina, "Bang," and then chuckles, there's a lighter lift to it in her voice.

"You like me," she says with a little tease, leaning in with a beaming smile.

"I do noooooooot appreciate you threatening to shoot me!" Seemed like a bad time to say she didn't like her. And Varina didn't even know which way was true.

Like the little nexu she was, she scurried away. "Anyways! I really think we should talk about where we're going to go next."

[Rezzie]

With a bright smile she regards Varina as she scurries away, chuckling, "Well.. I like you too," she admits, little more flush to her cheeks and she half-turns away before stepping down and collecting her other blaster. Kneeling down by her nearby bag and digging for a datapad.

"Well.. let's look through what we got and make a plan than, yea?" she calls back over her shoulder, that slight happy raise to her voice still present.

Varina narrowed her eyes. Had this been Rezzie's plan from the start? All after Varina had, what, punched her mom? She massaged her forehead and refused to speak any more on that matter.

"Uh... Right, well, I also think the Alderaan job could be good. Then again, we can always rob Alderaan later... vaults are safe as can be."

[Rezzie]

"Would you want to rob an Alderaanian vault?" she asks, looking over a shoulder datapad in hand. Setting it aside while she looks back toward Varina. "I mean- I don't think the people in these houses are all that different maybe? O-oh! We could always see about trying to rip off my father, if you want? That could be fun. Might even get to wear a couple dresses or something- though I think I'd prefer more of a suit.." she says, giving her current worn outfit a tug.

Turning her attention then down to getting the other holster strapped onto her leg, it was finicky and it took time but she seemed to have a better idea of how to get it secured and it didn't take her all that long.

"Your dad?" Varina asked. It kind of made sense, though hearing someone else having parental angst was a little close to home. Plus now she was considering Suit Rezzie versus Dress Rezzie. Hard pick. "Uhhhh I don't know. Maybe I've earned myself a bit of laziness for my birthday."

She headed back to the couch, sure that she was safe from any awkward moments. After flopping back onto it, she stared at the ceiling. "Always something to take anyways."

[Rezzie]

"Can't really go wrong taking from him at least.. Chiss Ascendency, big military nut, wants me to follow in his footsteps, blah- blah- blah," she says, getting the strap done on her leg. Tightening it so it doesn't go anywhere she slots in the other blaster and stands up again. Facing the window she was drawing on herself in before.

"Play dress up here and there, pretend to be classy, laugh about all the stuck up people- and Chiss are pretty stuck up," she chuckles. "Buuut, just another option, eh?" she says, glancing back to Varina with a smile as she focuses back in front of her. Laying her hands by her side she watches for the "moment" which isn't really anything more than when she decides to, and draws.

Varina kept her mouth shut about how Chiss Ascendancy was filled with spooky people made only worse by their red eyes. "Ah, well, maybe you'll work something better out with him someday. You never know," she said, not too committed to convincing Rezzie. Just after all that Reibelle stuff... it was difficult to not imagine some solution existing.

"You're getting better on the draw though. Practice makes perfect, so they say." She let out a soft sigh and stared at the ceiling. "I'm starting to sound like Raven. Say, if I need to go back there, will you go too? Not that you have to... just wondering."

[Rezzie]

"Don't really wanna," she comments with that quick discarding of the idea, regarding her father. Looking down at the blasters in her hands she looks back over a shoulder to Varina, a smirk more than a simple and warm smile but qualities of the mix in there. "Thanks," she says, and then flips them around on her fingers before sliding them back into their holsters.

"Back to the enclave and them? Can't.. say I'll be all gung-ho about that guy walking around calling himself Mandalore but, yea. If you wanted me to?"

"Yeah, I can't say I'm a fan of him either. That's why I'm not there right now." Varina jumped back to her feet and started traversing through their little vacation spot. She fingered through a massive wine collection, things that were probably never actually meant to be used. "So you don't have to come if you don't want to. Just... wanted you to know that I have to go back at some point. My friends there will need me at some point."

[Rezzie]

Walking over toward Varina, halfway between where the wine was and where Rezzie started she looks to Varina. When she turns, she's standing there with her hands on her hips just above her blasters, "Hey- I got your back when you do. You go back cause your friends need you? Well, they get this daring badass too," she smirks, and then draws on the wall near them, chuckling.
