Can I interest either for Mylar to show up, or for a difficulty for a mechanics check to work on the communications systems?

So is what is the difficulty for finding random metally bits to turn into parts later? Gonna roll for that stuff in this thread, just as soon as I get a difficulty/permission.

You can make a hard perception check to see if you notice anything worthwhile. It's already been somewhat picked apart, but you never know what you may find.
