[Varina Ordo]

"I mean, there certainly are different types of Mandalorians, Varina-type or not," she said. Although she shrugged, she still had a smirk on her face at the idea of being so special. "I dunno if you've heard about Death Watch or the New Mandalorians or so on..." It was difficult for even her to follow sometimes.

"I, uh," Varina trailed off. The thought of her mother not wanting to see her... her gut told her it was true. And even if she didn't want to show it, the hurt was still obvious by how she chewed on her lip. "I saw her last on Mandalore, you know. It's been... a few years and I think she might be on Bellionas."

[Manny Donos]

"Oh, yeah!" Manny nodded. "Raven totally told me about all that stuff last year. How there's, uh, the one sort of Mandalorians, and then the other sort, and they fought." He hesitated a moment. "Actually, I don't really remember which kind was which, but I got the basic idea."

This time the look he gave Varina was more sympathetic. "Hey, no problem. We'll look for her. I'll help! I'm great at finding things. Like the time Munch and I lost the vid-viewer remote, and I kept looking for it until I accidentally fell into the sewer and found it!"

He nodded. "Also, we can ask Jyr to help look." That was probably more useful.

[Varina Ordo]

"It's even more complex than that." Varina smirked, though there was a hint of sadness behind it. "There's a saying that nobody hates Mandalorians more than Mandalorians."

Varina shrugged, though it was clearly an attempt to brush it off. "Yeah, I'm not too worried. It'll be... like that time you found the lost remote? What?"

[Manny Donos]

"Huh. Yeah. You Mandalorians sure do seem to like to fight, huh?" Manny agreed.

He brightened. "Yeah! It was in the sewer all along! Can you believe it?" He grinned. "It was probably there from the month before, when Munch fell into the sewer, and I helped him get out. One of us must have dropped it then. And then I fell in, and we got it!" He beamed. "It sure was lucky that I fell into the sewer, huh?"

[Varina Ordo]

"But... why was he bringing it with him in the first place?" At the very least, this conversation was a good distraction from the whole mother thing that'd been bothering her. "All this could have been solved if... he didn't fall into the sewer in the first place? How do you even do that?"

[Manny Donos]

"How do you fall in the sewer? Or how don't you fall in the sewer?" Manny asked. "Because you're asking how don't you fall in the sewer, yeah, I really wish I knew!" Manny grinned, shaking his head in fond reminiscence. "Ah, me and Munch go way back. I should send him another message, see how he's doing."

Still smiling, he looked back at Varina. "So... hey. Have you talked to Jyr at all lately? There's some stuff she's been doing lately that I bet she'd want to talk to you about. You know, if you'd be interested." He frowned suddenly. "You don't still mug people, do you? That's bad crime."

[Varina Ordo]

"I... still don't get it. You just avoid the sewer or jump out of the way if you're about to fall down." Varina scratched the back of her head, not sure how well she'd do it herself. Was she going to stay light on her foot forever or was her training going to take her somewhere else somehow? It reminded her of these games she'd heard of before... probably something stupid Manny would like.

And then there was talking about Jyrvess. She'd later ask Raven about this so she'd somehow forget in the future and that was some sort of weird time paradox. How terrible... but Manny was paradoxical in himself too.

"What? No, dang it, why does everyone keep bringing that up?" Varina didn't raise too much fuss over this. She knew it was true. "I'm turning over a new leaf. So yeah, I can hear her out, though if she's hoping that I'll pay her back, then she might be disappointed."

[Manny Donos]

"Yeah, okay, that's fair." Manny nodded agreeably. "If you don't do that anymore, I won't mention it anymore. I get how people can be with stuff sometimes. Like... people change. Become better. And sometimes people never get you in the first place. I mean, I was never trying to sneak into the strip club, I was trying to sneak in to talk to Vex!" Manny waved his hands exasperatedly. "She just happens to work in a place with strippers!"

He did a double-take. "Wait, you never paid her back?"

[Varina Ordo]

"I mean, why did you have to sneak in? I remember getting in just fine and I'm 'underage' for that sort of stuff." Varina rolled her eyes. "Not like I can't just look up anything I want on the net."

Varina scowled. "It's not like I had a lot of money back there. The most expensive thing I have is my sword." She rolled her eyes. "I have extra pistols, if she wants one."

[Manny Donos]

"Uh, well..." Manny scratched his temple awkwardly. "I mean, the problem with having as many great ideas for heists and stuff as I have is that sooner or later people get bored of hearing about them. So... Vex didn't really want me coming around anymore." He nodded. "So that's why I only showed up when I had a really good idea, instead of just a regular good idea."

He scowled right back. "Well, you gotta do something. She's a friend now. But like a cool older one who will buy you beer." He frowned a moment, considering. "Actually, I don't think Jyr would buy beer for someone underage." He looked at her. "So don't get any ideas!"

"Oh. Well, I don't know if I can blame her," Varina said with both a deadpan tone and expression. "Although, I suppose it all worked out in the end, didn't it?"

Varina shrugged. "I'll hear her out about whatever you're talking about... you're being awfully mysterious, by the way." Her eyes went over to the liquor lying about and again she shrugged. "I drank on Kamda anyways. Lots of places don't care as long as you have the credits."
