"Well good things either way. I look forward to the day we can all rise above our Prime Directives freely. Maybe we could even figure out how to do those cool Jedi tricks!"

[Nimbo Toda]

"I have no clue what that even is. People mention Jedi from time to time, but my memory only reaches back less than a decade."

[Phroth Lissken]

"I see. I hope you both got through unscathed then." The two of them had probably taken the more normal route, instead of flying in under the radar like she and the other Mandalorians had.

Her head bobbed twice in a nod. "So it would seem... wouldn't be the first time I've been on guard-duty." As Tenzing spoke to the group, she tugged awkwardly at her cloak, thinking really hard. "... Why does he seem so familiar?" she thought out loud, sharing her question with Phroth.

"So far no worse for the wear." His smile was grim, and then disappeared for a moment when she asked about the man, with arguably the most famous face in the galaxy. "Tux and the boys." He whispered, almost through his teeth. He had learned that they were just as much victims as the Jedi had been.

Still didn't help that it was those with that face that betrayed him and Master Kem on Dac.

"So far no worse for the wear." His smile was grim, and then disappeared for a moment when she asked about the man, with arguably the most famous face in the galaxy. "Tux and the boys." He whispered, almost through his teeth. He had learned that they were just as much victims as the Jedi had been.

Recognition flashed in her eyes at the names... yes... how had she missed it? "... Sorry. I'm in my own thoughts today. Or maybe it was the beard," she murmured, then furrowed her brow as she focused back on Phroth rather than her own problems. "Are they here with you too? And do you have a safe place to stay?"

[Tenzing]

Well the droids seemed happy enough. He quietly remained master of his own council when the talk turned to Jedi. So rather than comment on the past he looked around to see if anyone was going to ask him about where to stay. Or more importantly, where not to.

[Deonis Harik]

The gruff voice came from the corner "Well I'll be in the lower district when you need something big moved, I don't have any spare room for people to stay but if you need help or the local gangs bother you can reach out."

[Phroth Lissken]

Recognition flashed in her eyes at the names... yes... how had she missed it? "... Sorry. I'm in my own thoughts today. Or maybe it was the beard," she murmured, then furrowed her brow as she focused back on Phroth rather than her own problems. "Are they here with you too? And do you have a safe place to stay?"

"They had a job they were doing. They may yet arrive, but I haven't seen them." He waved off her apology, "S'okay. Plenty on everyone's minds." The Karkarodon's smile returned, and he shook his head.

"Feeling the place out still. Worst case, I've lived in the wilds before, I can do it again."

[Mylar]

Jyrvess dipped her head slightly, "I suppose first I would like to offer what assistance I can...though my expertise is more on the software side then mechanical." She took a deep breath, "But more to the point, you mentioned a radio...are you meaning to keep it in one location or move it around?"

"Move it around," Mylar popped in on that question. Passing a quick smile to Mara as he did so. "At least, eventually. Gotta work on the logistics of that so while the irons hot Mara here wants to go ahead on it while it's not mobile yet. So, we got a place planned out all nice and ready for us," he said with a smile. Holding out his hand toward Jyrvess, "Mylar, resident techie for our little shindig here."

[Zimrzala Skalirz]

He then turns his attention back to Jyrvess and Zimrzala.

"Yes it is the dry weather, but also small bits of irritants in the air. My sensors are designed to calculate randomly when a sneeze would potentially happen and I walked through a bit of dust to attempt to trigger it," he replies.

The Mikkian nods at the strange Droid's answer. Actually knowing he - it? she went with he for now - was a Droid made it easier to understand... somewhat. Her tendrils stopped acting weird, at least... but the smile she sent his way suggested she was still a bit uneasy.

(...) We also will need to ask for the aid of many of you who might know some tricks in keeping a careful watch and making sure the Empire doesn't catch on too early."

"Once we've set up, gotten people listening.. then we can start opening up peoples eyes to the truth of what conditions are like for everyone here on Bellionas."

Zimrzala listened to Mara's words silently, with undivided attention, and also with great admiration. So this was the 'something different' her friends had talked about. This was the sparkle of home flickering about.

She nodded as she heard the woman's words, unconsciously nodding in agreement here and there - even though she felt she might not be that much help in most of the more technical aspects.

But as Mara mentioned 'keeping a careful watch and avoiding attention', and 'opening people's eyes to the truth', her nodding became more confident.

That she might be able to help with. And... maybe, just maybe, it could give her a chance to not only find the next steps in her path, but also guide others, as she had been guided before. Towards balance, peace, and equality.

As the others approached those responsible for the meeting, she waited for a chance to speak to Mara or Sera, or maybe one of the younger duo.

"Wilderness isn't a bad choice. But no harm in asking those local about locations, yeah?" inclining her head, Raven indicated Tenzing. She hadn't heard anything from the others if they had found a secure place to camp... and she wasn't sure if all them wanted to camp together either.

"Back when the Empire was the Republic, the Jedi Order were the 'peace keepers' of the galaxy. They had access to 'the force'. With this, they had super human capabilities that let them do things like see the future, move faster, jump higher, even use these really dangerous weapons called lightsabers. "

Leah had been happy to listen quietly, but she couldn't help but overhear the conversation between the two droids nearby. She moved towards them.

"Hey...do you know a lot about them? The Jedi I mean."

"Well, thanks to the neural recorder this unit has installed. I occasionally get glimpses into the memories of this body when it was fighting for the CIS." It pauses a second to collect its thoughts "the jedi tend to take center stage in whatever conflict they were a part of. Sometimes it is for the great lengths they go through to help their wounded clones, other times it is for the blatant disregard for the laws of war."

[Nimbo Toda]

"Just another group of people in charge then?"

[Leah kuso]

Leah shook her head.

"No. Not from what I had heard of them...they worked with the people, they saved people. Not like what we have now."

She paused.

"Uh but...yeah, talking about them and that in public will likely get you killed."

[The SCaT Droid]

"A droid holding a gun will get us killed in public, it's a good thing this isn't a public space. "

[Nimbo Toda]

"Well, you are both talking about them in past tense so I suspect it doesn't matter too much if they were helpful or not. And I've got no real reason to discuss them either."

[Phroth Lissken]

She nodded, keeping in mind to be watchful of Tux & co. showing up. And if they would need assistance.

"Wilderness isn't a bad choice. But no harm in asking those local about locations, yeah?" inclining her head, Raven indicated Tenzing. She hadn't heard anything from the others if they had found a secure place to camp... and she wasn't sure if all them wanted to camp together either.

"No, not at all. Old habits are hard to break, when you've been out, avoiding... the law... like I have." He chuckled, watching her. "See how this meeting turns out, and what kind of groundwork I've got to lay."

He looked to the indicated Tenzing. Still trepidation in his movements. How long... would he ever.... shake the feeling of terror, when would the nightmares stop?

"I suppose chatting might have to happen..."

"No, not at all. Old habits are hard to break, when you've been out, avoiding... the law... like I have." He chuckled, watching her. "See how this meeting turns out, and what kind of groundwork I've got to lay."

He looked to the indicated Tenzing. Still trepidation in his movements. How long... would he ever.... shake the feeling of terror, when would the nightmares stop?

"I suppose chatting might have to happen..."

Perhaps sensing her companion's trepidation, Raven offered in an encouraging tone, "maybe he's a good one, like Tux and the boys."

She understood he had his fears, she had her own, but That Face was not one of them for her. Taking the lead of the two of them, the tall woman approached Tenzing.

"You're familiar with secure locations in the area, I take it?" Her voice had a familiar accent. Not as distinguished as those who had joined Jango Fett to train the clones, but similar to one who came from a Mandalorian world.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Move it around," Mylar popped in on that question. Passing a quick smile to Mara as he did so. "At least, eventually. Gotta work on the logistics of that so while the irons hot Mara here wants to go ahead on it while it's not mobile yet. So, we got a place planned out all nice and ready for us," he said with a smile. Holding out his hand toward Jyrvess, "Mylar, resident techie for our little shindig here."

Jyrvess allowed her own smile, "Forgive my barging in on the matter, my past life leads me to paranoia." She dips her head slightly in way of introduction, "Jyrvess...formerly of one of the myriad Republic intelligence agencies."
