[EA1] The Light Rises...

[Phroth Lissken]

The first thing Master Kem had told Phroth when they arrived on any new system, was to feel the way the Force flowed through it. The way life called to life. That feeling had long since been channeled by the Karkarodon into the connection of life and death between himself and his prey.

But he tried. Oh he tried to remember those words. The way to be one with any new system. When he had settled, the Seeker had set out on his bike, feeling the flow of Life, letting it guide him.

He arrived at the edge of a cavern system. He saw the opening, and knew he would barely fit, much less anything else. Removing his armor, and making sure the spear blaster was locked in place, he began to enter.

All he had with him was that hilt of bone, leather, hide, and wood. Strapped to his back, he began to make his way through the cavern.

Traveling through the cavern was difficult, especially with his size and the few adornments he did bring with him. At a few points the sides of the cavern clung to him and he had to shimmy and fidget a way to freedom again. However, given the space of time he didn't suffer any major difficulties making his way through even tightest of spaces. Eventually spilling out into the central cavern and witnessing the docile nature of this place.

There was an apparent life here that seemed to lay dormant just beneath the surface. A life that had a presence as if he was not alone, it was warm and inviting.

Phroth closed his eyes as he entered the central cavern. He could feel Life just washing over him, and the Karkarodon basked in it. He didn't open his eyes, merely allowing the moment to occur. He didn't have an urge to explore, to seek out what that feeling was.

Patience. Breathing in. Letting time stretch out before him. This system had conflict brewing, but here?

The Executioner was drawn to Peace. To Life.

When he opened his eyes again time felt strange, as if more had passed than he realized. However, any attempts to confirm this he might have been able to muster would be for naught while he remained within the bounds of this area. An area which was small, a single space among the overwhelming nature of the swamp which surrounded it. A small bastion against a dark tide which flowed out from the deeper portions of the swamp he traveled through briefly in order to get here.

Yet, here was this place of peace. Where a tree stood at the center of the grove and invited him in to sit and relax for a while.

"You would have liked this place, Master." It was serene, the way the words came out. The quiet of the cavern was allowed to take all the space it wanted. Moving to the tree, a clawed hand was placed against the trunk. A small smile as he was suffused with life. The large being moved to a kneeling position, centering himself with the vastness of the universe.

And resting in the shade.

This position is comforting and under the shade from the bit of light peeking in from the opening in the ceiling of the grotto Phroth finds that easy peace this place offers. There is a greater presence here, alike to something becoming aware of his presence.

[Meiyokashi]

With his eyes shut he finds a thread. One that brings a greater awareness, first to himself and then to the tree he is sitting beside. Here the connection grows and flows from the tree to another. A small being running through the wastes he traveled through to get here. Dashing and darting between rocks this small creature evades detection by near everything it comes across. A small white colored fox, although its fur has this almost supernatural quality to it.

This connection seems to strengthen further, and further, until suddenly the image shifts violently to the darkness of the swamp. A deep shadow at the center of multiple trees before two glowing orbs of red appear and a giant maw lashes out from between them.

With the shock of the appearance of the maw Phroth falls backwards against the rocks set before the tree, barely catching himself from smashing his head against the ground behind him.

Eyes blinked rapidly, taking in the vision for a long moment. Slowly, the Sharkman stood, his hand bracing him against the tree. The two creatures, the vulpine-like creature, and the great maw of that beast. That darkness, that rage, connected through the living Force.

Whatever is in the Swamp is a threat.

He would have to see about stopping it.

Before he could have realized, a lot of time had been spent here and though it felt like moments at least an hour or so had passed since he first stepped within the area. Time slipped away while the vision took him elsewhere.

He was probably going to be late to meet with Cartess.

[Phroth Lissken]

Steady, calming breaths. One glance around the Grotto. Phroth would have to remember this place. Nodding solemnly to himself, he made his way.

Didn't want to be later than he already was.
