Lore Amidst Lies [LM, Day 1]

[Solork Tan]

Solork still had time after getting through customs, and scattering had made sense to throw off any onlookers. As such he was now alone in a new city with no place to be. A leaf through the directory had shown him about the museum, and there was an off chance that he could find something of use.

Doubtful, but it didn't hurt.

[Meiyokashi]

Alike any other visitor Solork is offered a tour of the establishment by one of the many droid servicers. Many of the options they declared would be appealing to your average tourist but few seemed likely to contain any hint of what he was hoping to find.

[Solork Tan]

"Any exhibits on the Rakatan Empire?" Sol asks the droid. He didn't know much, but they were supposed to be very old and very Force related. Perhaps old enough that censors would not have noticed.

[Meiyokashi]

"No results for 'Rakatan Empire' have been found within our database. Would you perhaps like to search for any other queries as relating to the great history of our fine city?" the Protocol droid designated to aid the guests reads from it's associated dialogue.

[Solork Tan]

In spite of himself, Sol smiled. It was a fun challenge, this.

"Please cross reference and rank the following search terms: aboriginal. Artifact. Ancient. Purpose unknown. Native. Disappearance. Nature worship"

[Meiyokashi]

"Some items have been located with those descriptors. Would you please follow me?" the protocol droid tilted its head slightly to convey the question and then began walking off in a direction.

[Solork Tan]

Sol smiles to himself beneath the mask and follows the droid forward, keeping an eye out for isolated areas or bars that suddenly swing shut to trap him.

[Meiyokashi]

After about a minute or so, Sol is brought to a small gift shop. Even from outside of the location he can see a few advertisements for replica of supposedly ancient architecture from across the galaxy.

[Solork Tan]

"Hmm." It was a disappointment, but he had another tack. "Thank you for your help. New query: crystalize gemstone collection exhibit"

[Meiyokashi]

For a long moment the droid appeared to scan through the information it had on record but returned a negative result on any sort of gemstone collection that might be within the exhibits.

"Might this unit remind our guest of the many exhibits we do possess that would allow you to witness the historical engineering marvels put together by the people of Bellionas in order to survive this harsh planet once thought to be a lush paradise with various megafauna?"

[Solork Tan]

"Hmmm. Have you been programmed to offer a tour? Those exhibits sound fascinating. " It wasn't perfect, but he might glean something of use, especially if he has a guide. "Spare no detail"

[Meiyokashi]

"I have! Please follow me!" the droid spoke happily, and would lead him on a tour which introduced him to much of the planets history. Giving him plenty of fun little details on how the city was built, why it was built, who the original settlers were and so on.

[Solork Tan]

"What can you tell me about the initial settlers? What troubles did they encounter with settling the planet?"

[Meiyokashi]

"Initial settlers of Bellionas are more modern than most settlers. However, they too never got the chance to witness this planet when it was once lush. Uncommon to belief of many travelers our planet suffers from unfortunate storms which plague many of the regions. As well as horrendous megafauna which threatens the cities very borders, thus the wall! Our original settlers however faced all these and more without the wall construction to protect us and thus much of the original city was built underground. What many now know as the lower city, a construct actively below the rest of our fair city, was the in fact first area colonized here on Bellionas!"

[Solork Tan]

"Megafauna?" Sol is immediately interested. "What sort of megafauna?"

He think for a minute. "What areas were deemed impossible to settle? Are there any areas with settlers vanishing?"
