"I could probably take a look at that and see if I could fix it for you. Any chance you could collect whatever parts I need though?"

The helmet could'nt help but chuckle

''At this point buying a new one would be less expensive...but...'' he paused a moment ''...if you want to go scavenge in the lower city I could go with you''

"That sounds like a lovely idea, some time in the afternoon ok with you?"

He raised a hand to his visor and seemed to be looking at something

''Best not to fix a time right now...we don't know what might happen following this afternoon's reunion. Let's wait until things get busy again so we can feel things out.''

The helmet turns towards the other droid

''If scavenging, investigation or blasting raiders is up your alley you are welcome to join...'' he paused, remembering to talk about something ''Oh yeah, there is an active BX unit roaming in the ruins. Seems he landed here around the same time as us''

"Yes, I met him while traveling on the ferry. It's a miracle not a single imperial noticed him on the way in. Let's hope this luck continues."

''He's a commando droid...even jedi had problems dealing with them. BXs were one hell of a good series of droid''

"Would have done a lot better at infiltrating if they weren't programmed to speak with such a monotone voice. Also ironically by not having memory problems they take a lot longer to acquire salience than a b1."

''The monotone voice was more of an intimidation factor, really. I don't think proper voice modulation would have been that hard to do...I mean...the clones did all sound the same anyway.''

''I don't know about salience but I am sure it was not that much of a problem''

"During the war, I am certain I would have said the same. But now that we don't have to be tools of war if we don't want to, I'm not so sure. I guess I need to figure out what it is that sets me apart, I'm no longer just a b1, I'm SCaT today."
