After a moment of browsing and finding nothing by Zee, Qar shrugged.

"Looks like nothing too interesting in there. Guess things of value had already been plundered."

She puts the book back, takes another look at the area.

"So it seems... might be useful for some things, maybe. But nothing particularly stands out."

She then looks at him. "So... you here for a particular reason, Qar? Or just stopping by?"

"Here-here or here-planet?" He looked at her curiously. "I'll answer but then so must you."

"I meant here planet, mostly. But both of you want to answer both, I guess", she says, slowly making her way to the storefront again.

"And... Deal. But I won't have very exact answers, I'm afraid"

"I'm on the planet for work. That work requires what I'm good at, racing. Street racing usually attracts law enforcement. Knowing the city and its small sanctuaries is a way to keep evading them. And hence, I am here-here." He gestured. "And I think I've found what I've been looking for." He looked at her. "Your turn, Zee."

Work... and street racing?

That was an interesting and unexpected combination. She might have follow-up questions. But for now...

"Well... I'm here as part of a quest, more generally. For self-understanding, you might say. But more specifically - I'm following some rumours. It seems like something relevant is on the works here... and I hope I can help it, somehow."

She then waves her hand around. "Here-here... I was mostly looking for clues to that 'something'. Found nothing too clear... although the information in those books might be helpful, maybe."

"So... if I may add another question - work involving racing, you say? Like... a tournament or some such?"

He stared at her for a moment. "...That was textbook vagueness if I ever heard one. Ain't fair, Zee, but it's not like I'm going to keep asking. Not my style. Just won't spill my beans either."

He straightened and turned toward the door. "Have fun with your personal quests on rumoured relevant tasks."

He stared at her for a moment. "...That was textbook vagueness if I ever heard one. Ain't fair, Zee, but it's not like I'm going to keep asking. Not my style. Just won't spill my beans either."

He straightened and turned toward the door. "Have fun with your personal quests on rumoured relevant tasks."

She actually lets out a soft laugh at his comment. "Eh... I suppose you're right, Qar. I don't have much to go on myself... but I'll try to be a bit more specific."

She looks at him as he turns towards the door. "My journey is what I said. A journey to find my own path to Balance - and hopefully to help bring Peace. The rumours... someone has mentioned a chance of 'bringing hope' to the people here in Bellionas. And... some friends mentioned a name. Nerra."

She shrugged, unsure if he would even turn back to see it.

"It's still not much, but it's what I have to go on. At any rate... good luck with this job of yours too, Qar", she said with another nod.

"...It probably involves getting into local racing circle. I am meeting my contacts tonight to learn more."

He turned back, some emotions crossing his face. Mixed ones. He tensed. But it was apprehension, not malice.

"Peace, Balance, sounds like... the kind of talk that might get you in deep trouble." From his cadence she could sense he assumed, rightly or wrongly, that those words were a part of a creed in a religion.

"I see." She seemed a bit confused, or curious, about whether he meant 'racing' was actually his job, or he had a job that 'involved' racing... but she figured she'd asked too much of him already.

As for the next part, she smiles at him, speaking in a calm tone. "Well, in my experience you're not wrong... but it's a bit surprising that something like 'peace and balance' should brew trouble, isn't it?". She then shrugs. "I know I'm not looking for trouble. I'm looking for hope, and hoping to help, as I said", she adds.

"Anyway... I hope you'll find fulfilment in that job, Qar.", she says with another smile. "Maybe we'll meet again."

"Maybe." He agreed, giving her thumbs up. "Carry on, Zee."

"May we be one with the world", she answers with a smile to him.
