"Then you should learn," she said, "It's good to know how to fight, but if that's all you're good for, you'll end up being useless most of the time. Not to mention..." she looked thoughtful for a moment, "It's prolonging the betrayal. Vader only trained you to fight because you were only ever a tool to him. A tool that only knows how to fight, won't ever know how to stop being a tool. You were set up to fail the moment you stopped being useful. I don't know how it is you're still alive, maybe that's that destiny part you mentioned. But if that's so, you were meant to be more than just a weapon."

Deonis shrugged "maybe so. Always seems like there's need for people like me in this galaxy. Not always glamorous but always work. But maybe you are right. Maybe I can learn to be more." He looked down at massive hands "I wouldn't know where to start."

"That I can not tell you. I have been in other places like this, scoured through ancient tomes in search of lost knowledge. And I've found *some*, only to realize how little I still know. But it has shown me the Force can be used for a great many things, not just swinging a lightsaber around. But perhaps that is not what you need. Perhaps you simply need a hobby. Or a cat. I don't know *what* it is you need. That is for you to figure out. Though, I suspect that contrary to their own opinions on the matter, cats aren't the path to destiny."

[Deonis Harik]

A rough chuckle came from the helmet "you are wise for one so young." Not that she was much younger than himself but for all she knew he was an old man in all that armor. "I'd say maybe we are supposed to learn from each other but not sure I have anything to teach."

"Well, my combat technique is rusty and bare bones. But from what I saw of your stance, so is yours. And our forms don't really have a lot of overlap. I suspect your focus in the Force is more physical oriented than mine, at least."

[Deonis Harik]

Deonis nodded "I was primarily taught how to use the force to make me stronger and faster, I have also been able to sense people around me, and was being taught how to manipulate the mind. I am also able to use their fear against them if they get to close." He took a breath like he wasn't used to talking so much in one go.

"You seem more about tricks." He said remembering how she hid herself from his sight.

She gave a small chuckle. "I could stand to get better at sensing those around me. That has potential. I got to admit, I didn't expect your repertoire to be quite that varied. If you had stopped talking after the first bit there, I wouldn't have thought you were leaving anything out. Hmm. I have a few tricks up my sleeve, I suppose. Simply things. And yes, manipulate the mind, of course."

She shrugged. "There's a few other tricks I know too. But really, all I've done is lay the foundations upon which to build. Setting up the board, to call-back to earlier conversation."

"Enhancing my abilities is where most of my training was, but as you said about laying foundations is where I am with my other abilities."

He thought for a moment "brute Force and trickery. Complimentary Talents. We could be a formidable force. Likely will have to teach ourselves from here."

[Tyllia Demici]

"I don't know about that. If this entity is really an entity, regardless of its intentions it might be inclined to teach us a thing or two."

[Deonis Harik]

"A path to power it might be. You didn't feel it's malice? Infectious hatred? I do not know if it will be a good teacher moving forward. I dont think the dark side is wrong but I think it can lead to evil. If you aren't careful."

[Tyllia Demici]

"I did," she said, calmly, "I knew whatever I sought here was a thing of malice before I ever set foot on this planet. It did not deter me then, and does not deter me now. If it can help me achieve my aims, I will use it. If it leads me to evil, well, I never had any illusions that evil can be avoided. Anyone who thinks they can make a genuine difference and keep their hands clean all the way to the end is nothing but naive."

Deonis shrugged "one has to be careful of what tools they use. Can easily become what they mean to fight. Right and wrong sort of arbitrary, good and evil bigger than that I think. Like light and dark I don't think one is good and one is bad but too far either way can be bad."

"A balanced outlook," she responded. "Not always possible but a good thing to strive for."

[Deonis Harik]

Deonis shrugged "not perfectly balanced, Sith seem self destructive. Short sighted. Jedi, too restrictive. Idealistic and repressive. I think we should all just do our best."

Well, it was hard to argue against that, even if it seemed... well, something. Simplistic, maybe? But then, he was the fighty type. Not the thinking type.

"Well, I don't suppose you're wrong, but this is just going around in circles."

She looked at the pool of sludge again for a moment. "Listen, this has been, interesting. But I think we've accomplished about all we're going to accomplish here. For today, at least."

"Indeed." He said standing, he wrote down a comm number "need anything, call me. There might be more to investigate here. Can probably take care of yourself. But if you want back up."

[Tyllia Demici]

"We shared the experience of discovering this place, and accepting it into us. I'm sure that we will have reason for our paths to meet again."

[Deonis Harik]

"Careful almost sounds like destiny." He said briefly with a bit of dry humor to the words. She could practically hear the grin behind his mask.
