Work Begins [D2, Early Evening]

Her head moved slightly up and down, to show she was taking a measure of him in some way. "I can relate to that."

"... Do you always wear your helmet and armor?"

[Deonis Harik]

He nodded "if there are other eyes around." If he was bothered by her measuring him he made no sign of it. Simply stared back from behind the black visor.

"Any particular reason why? Safety or...?" she let the question hang there. For some Mandalorians it could practically be considered religious reasons.

"Safety is a good way to put it. Some information is dangerous. For me. Those around me. Better for everyone." he said a little quieter than usual for the big man.

"Makes sense." She nodded. With the number of people she knew whose faces she had never seen, it was something she could understand and respect.

"For my people, removing one's helmet is often a sign of trust. Something you show to those you trust the most." Of course, she hadn't worn her helmet at the meeting yesterday. "Since I spent a lot of time on my own, I've also learned that sometimes the helmet draws more attention than needed. Gotta find that balance between protecting oneself and blending in. Not always easy that." Raven chuckled dryly at that.

"Makes sense. I have a very....distinct face. Would be very easy to remember if people saw it. Better with the armor, draws some attention. But just another another armored guy. Could be anyone."

That gave her some pause as she considered a few possibilities of what that meant. Of course she wasn't going to ask him to take off his helmet, but there were some options that crossed her mind. A clone, a galaxy-known criminal, some famous person...

"I know some folks with very distinctive faces. Does make life in a city rather hard for them..." But then there was Tenzing and he seemed to be able to blend in.

"Yep. Stay away from the bigger ones. Only here to follow someone. Trail went cold. Figured good as place as any to stay." Galaxy was weird that way, had a tendency to drop people off in seemingly out of the way places that turned out to be pretty important at the end of the day.

Raven put her hands on her hips as she made a show of looking around them. "Well... just as good as any other place to settle down, I suppose." There was some humor to her words, followed up with a brief shrug.
