How History is Written [Day 3, EA]

[Jaxom Ursae]

"They opposed the Empire vocally. In many ways, they were responsible for the continued resistance here on Bellionas." he looked around as he explained. "They were arrested not long after I left. Their son disappeared after that. Only their daughter is left."

[Raven Cadera]

"I see..." she cast a few glances around them as well, but the museum seemed pretty empty.

"Thank you. No one else had explained this much to me before. Was just told they were decent folks, looking to... help out, so to speak. And some friends and I were asked to help out. In case things go badly."

[Jaxom Ursae]

"There are a lot of friends of friends here." he smiled. "Hopefully, everyone gets along better this time."

[Raven Cadera]

At that she gave a shrug. "Who knows. I thought there were no problems last time with the... uh...'friends', but I wasn't involved in the more important parts myself."

[Jaxom Ursae]

"There were different approaches, which may have hindered some efforts." He didn't seem to bothered by it. "In the end, things were accomplished regardless."

[Raven Cadera]

"True," she nodded, crossing her arms as she seemed thoughtful about the matter. "Guess things seem a bit more put-together here in that regard. Have you tried asking that Kayde-kid if she knows anything about your father...?"

[Jaxom Ursae]

He shook his head. "Not yet. She has other concerns. But, there are a few others I could talk to."

[Raven Cadera]

"Best of luck with that," she said with a dip of her head. "... Hey, so you're a local to this planet, right? Do you know much about the group that calls themselves the Salky Raiders?"

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Sounds familiar, but no. I can't say I know anything about them." he shook his head. "Sorry."

[Raven Cadera]

"No need for apologies." She held up a hand to assure him it was fine, as she was used to communicate a lot more with body language due to her face usually being hidden.

"... Probably a long-shot to ask about that crater out in the badlands too then, huh?"

[Jaxom Ursae]

He shook his head again. "Never spent much time outside the walls. Hard to talk your way out of most troubles out there."

[Raven Cadera]

"I see." Thoughtfully, she looked away from Jaxom and back to the display. "Sorry for the weird questions."

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Not at all. I wish I could help." he said. "I could ask around, maybe. I need to reestablish some old contacts, anyway."

[Raven Cadera]

Raven considered it for a moment, before nodding. "If you could, it would mean much to me. These... these folks calling themselves the Salky Raiders, one of them attacked someone close to me. I'm here to find out why."

[Jaxom Ursae]

"No problem." he grinned. "It will help me reacquainted myself with a few people."

[Raven Cadera]

The grin was unexpected, but a good sign. "Anything I can do in return?"

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Nothing I can think of at the moment. Let's see if I can learn anything first." he answered. "But, I am curious about these raiders now."

[Raven Cadera]

"I do advise caution. They are reputed to be fierce warriors, and crossing their path could be perilous." Not like she was going to tell him not to get involved in danger, since they were already involved in a big danger with the Resistance, but the man deserved to know what he might be dealing with.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"I'll be careful. " he held up his hands. "It's just good to know what groups are active in the area and what they're about."

[Raven Cadera]

"That's for sure," she chuckled. "I'm used to hunting in unfamiliar terrain, but this kind of hunt isn't one I'm used to. So... thank you. And I will keep an ear open in case I hear anything about your father."
