"Here.. couple nights ago? Yea, couple nights ago. Seemed to be talkin' with a former ship captain that's been around here. Guy was complaining about the responsibilities of ownin' a ship for at least a week. Now he hasn't complained and even kicked on outta here. Best I figure they probably bought his ship off him?"

[Raven Cadera]

She glanced to the motel, where they had seen various people. "... The people here bought the ship from him?" Raven wasn't the smartest, so she was working on piecing things together.

[Sofia Hargrave]

"Armored folks, like you, though they weren't trying to hide it," she pointed to Raven. "They came through here a couple nights past and bought a ship, probably, from one of the folk around here who was more busy complaining than he ever was with anything else. Group of.. maybe four, five? I didn't pay them much mind when they were coming through. Real honest I was a bit wasted at the time and-" she smiled, shook her head. "Well, nevermind what I was doing."

[Varina Ordo]

"Did they wear their helmets?" Varina asked. "Did anybody look like me but maybe a bit older?" She pulled out her datapad and held up the picture of her mom up and high.

"Is that your mom?" Manny asked, his eyebrows going up.

[Sofia Hargrave]

"Most of them did. One took off his helmet, brown tousled hair? Looked kinda cute but maybe a bit too.. weary for my taste," she shook her head, brought up the hand that she pointed with to give pause. "Not where my mind should be at, sorry," she said with a slight smile. Focusing back on Varina, looking at the image.

"Sorry, no. Saw one woman with the guy, also took off her helmet before I stopped looking. Similar age longish black hair but that's all I got," she made a nod toward the image. Quirking her brow again, "Older sist-" she paused, looking to Manny and then back to Varina as Manny asked the question first.

"My mom," Varina murmured, putting away the datapad. She flushed and looked away. Asking about her mom was starting to be uncool!

[Sofia Hargrave]

Sofia gave Varina a quick look over. Smirking, "Cute," lingering for a moment before glancing between the other two. Looking for any other questions.

[Raven Cadera]

Raven cleared her throat at the slightly awkward silence after Varina had talked about her mom.

"... These armored people, did they have a symbol on their armor? Like a wolf's head?"

[Manny Donos]

"That sounds like them." Manny said, as grimly as he said anything, which was, like, a little bit. "I bet she still has my card! Probably showing it off to people..." He sighed, shaking his head.

Looking back to the woman, Manny smiled. "So, hey, you think you could point us towards the guy who sold them the ship?" He cleared his throat. "Also, you think she's cute, or her mom is cute?"

Sofia glances to Varina first with Manny's question, then focuses back in on him, "Couldn't. Well- I could have.. day ago. Hasn't shown back up since, best I can tell. Not like I spend all my time here but he usually makes his rounds by most folk hanging out this late. Haven't seen him all night."

"And didn't see, sorry," she looks to Raven. Nodding toward Manny, "But hoping that means you don't need to know that bit now?"

"More asking for the sake of confirmation, I suppose," she stated calmly, though in truth it was more out of weariness. Maybe she was grasping at ideas, but this seemed to correspond more with her impression that the attacker was pretending to be someone he was not.

This seller was the next step, she supposed. "Do you happen to have this man's name and contact info?"

[Sofia Hargrave]

"I called him Reggie. Old Ithorian, had a scar on his face," she drew a line on her own cheek. Admittedly, it was probably not the most helpful thing in the world considering the physiology didn't match up.

"Not sure where to find him but.. maybe if you go looking I can come help out?" she glanced around the area. "Seems more fun than everything else I got planned," she looked between the group, smiled, "I'll promise to stay outta the way?"

Her head tilted a little to the side as she regarded the woman silently.

"Alright," she said after a moment. "... Name's Raven. This is Varina, and Manny." Might as well do introductions since they were doing more than just a brief talk.

"Sofia, Sofia Hargrave," she extends a hand toward Raven, smiling as she did so.

[Raven Cadera]

"Well met." Accepting her hand, Raven made sure not to apply the usual strength she would when greeting a fellow Mandalorian in similar fashion. The woman looked far too delicate, after all.

[Varina Ordo]

"Now it's a party," Varina said, crossing her arms. She was definitely still grouchy over both the mom and cute thing.

"I hope so," she returns. Extending her hand to Varina then in turn, giving just a slight little smile, "It's nice meeting you, Varina."

Varina was glad that she had gloves on. Shaking hands with such a delicate, pretty hand would have felt weird otherwise. She retracted it as soon as possible and looked away. Cute... Bah! Nothing's cute about looking for my mom. It's annoying, that's what it is.

[Manny Donos]

Manny, naturally, offered a fistbump.

"So... you think he might be around here?" Manny pointed back towards the hotel. "Sure, let's go take a look."

If Sofia agreed, Manny would bravely lead the way to the hotel!
