He gave her his contact information. "And, I'm used to finding things in unseen.places."

"Always a good skill to have in these dark times," she chuckled grimly, exchanging contact info with Jaxom.

"Especially the 'unseen' part." He eyed an approaching tour droid. "Would you like to see more of the museum?"

She looked up, noticing a replica of a fighter of sorts, then back to Jaxom. "Yes. I want to see more of these trophies of Bellionas."

"Well, let me show you how this city was built." he offered, guiding her towards the next room.

At the center of the room, was a large holodisplay of Capitol City. The image shifted at regular intervals, showing the size, layout and features of the city during different eras of it's history. Along the walls of the room, various models gave examples of Bellionasian architecture, from the older subterranean structures of the lower city to the modern spires of the upper city. One large display was devoted to the construction of the wall that surrounded the city and the challenges of building it.

Raven was hardly a scholar, but she could understand the importance of preserving relics of old that told the history of a people's struggle. Displays to commemorate victories and the like.

"I didn't know the planet was that harsh." She sounded more thoughtful than surprised, as if something was occurring to her. "Like... just the terrain itself, or we talking beasts and such?"

"Critters mostly." he nodded. "But, the weather can be difficult, too. When colonists first settled here, the city was built underground. As the population grew, that was no longer practical. So, the wall was built and the city grew within it."

"Underground? So there's like... old tunnels and such stretching around?" That seemed like an intriguing idea. She was more used to the domed cities she had seen on Manda'yaim, but building underground sounded very clever too.

"There's a hardened roof that protected it and allowed for greater excavation." he explained. "But, yeah. It was just tunnels in the begining. I can't imagine what that was like."

"So do people live down there still?" she mused with interest. Or maybe it was closed off?

"Only those who need to, for one reason or another." he answered. "It's a dangerous place."

"I can imagine. Underground places on most planets tend to trend towards the more dangerous side of things - usually ghettos or the like. Further down you get, it always gets worse... learned that on Nar Shaddaa." She shuddered a bit at that in disgust.

"The other levels can be dangerous, too." he added. "Just in different ways."

"You mean like the Lower City? I heard there's some territorial gangs there," Raven shrugged at that. "Not something I'm really concerning myself with at the moment."

"The Lower City is what we're talking about, where people struggle and kill for every scrap they can claim. But, there are plenty of disreputable elements looking to control thingls in the Middle City, by any means." he explained. "While the Upper City has all the people who believe they already control everything and can be just as ruthless as those in the lower levels."
