"That would be the romantic take on that. The brutal one is: they are probably extinct at this point, killed of by progress, and I haven't seen one on Malastare, though the local Dug love to scare visitors with it. What Malastare is truly famous for is its large insects. Some got domesticated and can even be used as steeds. The wild ones... are at least as big and far less cooperative."

[Soleene Stryss]

"Something as big and mean as that can still get killed by progress? I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised but it's still a shame nevertheless. You'd think that the Hutts could splurge on some conservation, even if just for the purpose of getting one as a pet. Go figure. So it's the bugs that make a ruckus out of things sometimes?"

[Qar Offee]

"Do swat a mosquito that is the size of your head. Or take it on the windshield." He chuckled darkly.

[Soleene Stryss]

There was an elongated pause from Soleene as she didn't say anything. Maybe because she was trying to formulate her response or that she was cringing at the thought. "I guess at that point, you just have to accept it and take on the ride. I don't think you're racing in the swamps without having some idea what it might do to your paint job, at least."

[Qar Offee]

"Given the speeds, the physics of it is brutal. It's mostly hammer job on top of paint job. In the end, they shouldn't be hit at all." He shrugged. "That's Malastare for you. Bellionas is not entirely clement, but I'd still call it nice for riding. I took a trip to the crater yesterday and nothing ate me on the way, as you can see."

[Soleene Stryss]

"You went out to the crater?" She seemed to put extra emphasis on the first word, perhaps a bit surprised that he did go out.

"Is that something that passes as a special landmark around here? Aren't there like a few craters around here?"

[Qar Offee]

"It looked like a landmark to me. Frankly though I wasn't ready to deal with the hostility within all by myself." He shrugged.

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene nodded slowly, seeing as he was talking about the same carter that she was thinking about. "Funny enough, I was going to ask what it was all about there and what you saw."

[Qar Offee]

"And why would you be interested in that, Soleene?" There was no point in looking at her with curiosity for the helmet wouldn't tell him much. So he looked up instead. "Wanna compare notes?"

[Soleene Stryss]

She gave a shrug on the matter. "I don't know how much there is to share on my side if you've already taken a look, only that I've been meaning to get closer. Somewhere down the line, I might have come to the conclusion that it's more dangerous there than I thought. We're talking about probably a few ships and some heavily armed individuals."

[Qar Offee]

"The planet has its warts." He shrugged. "Not sure dealing with them makes much sense."

[Soleene Stryss]

"They do...but they aren't exactly the normal street thugs you see in cities. Being that well-armed and having that much gear in the middle of nowhere? That's a lot of trouble, especially being this close to an Imperial holding. If they've bothered to do all that, that just means that they're looking to be bothered in some form or another. I'm sure it'll make them feel appreciated." She nodded.

[Qar Offee]

"Or it's just a covert op, Imperial proxies. Maybe they sit there on some rare ore of whathaveium and don't want to be disturbed when they extract it." He shrugged. "Can't know for sure without getting real close."

[Soleene Stryss]

"It could be any of those, as strange it may be...Getting a bit 'conspiracy theory', aren't we? Not that I can really disprove anything at this point. Do Imperials even need proxies? I thought whatever they wanted, they just did it."

[Qar Offee]

"They still have enemies, and doing things they need that doesn't attract much attention is more cost-effective. I know for a fact that they do hire bounty hunters." He shrugged. "But in the end I have no clue. It's hard to know what to believe in these days. So, is this crater some kind of goal of yours?"

[Soleene Stryss]

"Some bounty hunters have to eat at the end of the day. I'd like to think that we have some standards at the very least. I know that's the case with my brothers and sisters at the very least. Mandalorian first, everything else second."

She nodded once. "I am interested to know what it's all about at the very least. Although, I would say that this op is more my sister's than my own as she's leading it. I'm just keeping my ear on the ground, so to speak."

[Qar Offee]

"I have no quarrel with your lot. Especially that any such quarrel would likely end up poorly for me." He chuckled and gestured in her direction. "I am a badass biker, but you and yours are simply badass, with all the armours and martial creeds. So if you want to make that crater your thing for whatever reason, I am not going to interfere lest you need some help I can actually offer."

[Soleene Stryss]

"We'll see where it does. This might end up to be a smaller affair or a large party." She said, recalling that she didn't exactly do all that much in their venture out. That was probably because nothing went wrong and they should probably be thankful for that. "If this thing is some grand conspiracy, I imagine it can't stay small enough no matter who tries to get a slice of it. So it's never a no but I can't say for sure."

"For now, I should probably head out and put my legs up for the night. Best of luck on your race, Qar," she said with a nod.

[Qar Offee]

"Thanks, Soleene. Nice talking to you. I wouldn't mind doing it again. If getting out for drinks with guys like me is something you do, it'll be me treat." He turned on the engine. "'sides, fancy a lift? I don't think anything it's gonna happen here tonight."

[Soleene Stryss]

"Yeah, likewise." Soleene chuckled at the offer as she took a glance at a street behind her. "Well, you probably caught me at a good time, I think I've been walking this entire day. Public transit just doesn't seem all that fun either, you know."
