[Sofia Hargrave]

Sofia's smile was evident when she looked from Varina to Manny, though it faded a slight bit with the confusion only to shift to a half smirk as she returned the fistbump. Shaking her head, "No, doubt he's anywhere near but the receptionist- one who handles the credits," she gives a half-nod toward the building, "they might know where ol' Reggie's taken off to."

The Mandalorian woman's shoulders rose and sank in a silent sigh, looking to the motel, then back to Sofia. "Alright. Lead the way, please."

[Manny Donos]

Manny bravely led the way to the hotel!

"Don't let him steal my goggles, either!" He called over his shoulder as he went.

While Manny started to lead the way Sofia gave a wave to the largest group of people above the van, in her hands the keys from before. One of the males above seemed to pay her mind and as he did she tossed the keys down by the door with a smile. He, in turn, rolled his eyes and started walking toward them as Sofia looked back.

"What's with him and those goggles anyway?" she asked, walking to catch up a few paces behind Manny.

In front of them was the office space with a lone human woman in her fifties at least. Sat in her lap was a bowl of soup and on a small screen to her side was replaying an old sitcom. It was a small space, but had plenty of windows to look out to the motel proper.

"Nobody wants to steal your goggles, Manny," Raven remarked in a tone similar to how an older sibling might've sounded reprimanding their younger. "... Think he's just worried about having something taken from him again? A mean lady stole a card from his deck the other day."

She cast a glance back at the man walking towards them.

Manny would explain to Raven just how many people tried to steal his goggles later. Right now, he had some convincing to do.

"Excuse me, ma'am." Manny greeted her with a smile and a wave; he knew old people didn't like fist bumps. Except maybe Jarvis. "So... I was thinking I might get a ship. But then I'm like, hey, maybe ship ownership isn't for me. I'd better check with some experts! And I hear that there's an Ithorian who lives around here that knows all about owning a ship!" Perfect excuse; Manny mentally congratulated himself.

"So... you think you could tell us where this ship owning expert can be found?"

Behind them the man turned off toward the keys as they parted ways toward the office. Digging around in the gravel a bit to find them he pumped them up in the air but failed to catch them on the way down, necessitating another dig around for them.

Inside, the older woman looked up at Manny with a confused expression, expected likely by all others. "Aren't you darling? Have you tried asking around somewhere that might care?" she suggested with that crochety old-woman voice. "You rent a room, or you leave. I'm not an address book," she said, and then returned to looking at her show.

Sometimes it was just as well that she was wearing a helmet, because she was glaring at the old woman. Since Manny was... being Manny, Raven stepped forward, not quite pushing the slightly-shorter man aside, but almost.

"Word is you might know where an Ithorian named 'Reggie' has gone off to. You don't need to care, but I am asking, politely, if you know of his whereabouts, or how to contact him. We will be out of your hair soon enough." It was a very restrained and polite Raven who spoke, reminding herself that she should respect her elders (even if this woman was not Mandalorian, and therefore not her elder).

"No one by the name of Re-" she was cut short by Sofia who dropped in beside Raven, leaning in against the desk a little, with a wink. "Oh, you," the woman sighed and then shifted her seat a little closer toward the group.

"Yea, me, nice seeing you again Gloria," Sofia smiled, "Reggie. Ithorian who came around a lot, got a scar," she indicated on her cheek again. "Always bothered everyone about that ship he was trying to sell. Hasn't been by tonight, he settle up?"

"You mean Dob?" Gloria asked, bringing her glasses down to glare at Sofia. "Paid out his dues this morning and left. Said something about renting a place downtown.."

Sofia looked back to the group, "Looked more like a Reggie to me, honest," and shrugged.

Raven rolled her eyes, which elicited a low groan over the interaction. No... no... be nice, people are being helpful. No need to bash heads in.

"Did he give any more specific direction than that?" she asked as she turned her attention back to this 'Gloria', head dipped slightly in respect to this old lady who clearly didn't take shit from anyone.

Gloria shook her head, "Sorry-" she seemed to go to say something else but only now actually took notice of the helmet looking back at her. Pausing there as she tried to parse it.

Sofia, however, "I can look into it. Can't be a whole lotta places that'd want to rent to an Ithorian these days. Anyone got a comm-code I can snatch?" she asked, glancing between everyone but landing a look on Varina.

Manny nudged Varina with his elbow, waggling his eyebrows at her.

[Varina Ordo]

"What? Not our leader?" Varina glanced at Raven and then shrugged. She took our her commlink and held it out for the older lady, who was rather pretty.

Oh! Wait, Manny lost his shot, ha ha. But she better not add Varina in with some variation of cute!

"... I am not the first helmet-head you've seen around here, right?" she said calmly to the older woman, fine with letting Varina and Manny handle the contact with Sofia.

Sofia grabbed out her commlink and connected it with Varina's. Taking a few extra moments with entering the name that she definitely added something at the end but stowed it away without a word. Looking up to Varina she gave a little wink and then glanced between the group to see what was going on.

For Raven, the woman earnestly seemed to think for a moment. Though, as she picked up her soup again, "Dear, I see plenty of people, helmets or not they all either rent rooms, or they leave."

"Sure." Old people were so weird sometimes. Wait, did the old lady call her 'dear'?

"... Thank you for your help. As promised, we won't be bothering you further." With that, Raven stepped away from the counter, glancing for a moment to Manny in a kind of that's how you do it-kind of way. And then patted him on the shoulder. "Let's leave the honorable elder to her meal."

"Good, I still need to catch up a few seasons," she says, in the same fashion she had prior. Shifting her chair back she got comfortable and settled in for her viewing session for the night.

Sofia, meanwhile, stepped back a couple steps toward the door. Looking at the group, "So I'll give a look into things and give you guys a call, hmm?" she says, a half-cocked smile.

"... Thank you." The helmeted head bobbed to the young woman, then she started to wonder what Sofia was getting out of this.
