[Day 3 - Late Morning] Heck of a Place

[Meiyokashi]

"Should we?" the woman asked, looking between the assembled group of.. helmets with the token face.

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene merely nodded when Deonis made his appearance. When the visitors ultimately made their appearance, she went quiet and let Tyllia do the talking. Something in the back of her mind can't scratch the sentiment that she seemed to always find herself in the wrong place at the wrong time...

[Tyllia Demici]

She shrugged in a manner suggesting she didn't really care one war or the other. Running security for criminal underbosses wasn't really her expertise, in any case.

"Well," Tyllia had the sudden realization that it *could* look like the armored people were her own security detail, "Anyway, figured they would be the ones to talk to. To get a workflow going on this rock."

[Deonis Harik]

Deonis stood quietly for now Tyllia seemed to know what she was doing and it's not like he was good at talking to people. So he stuck to his expertise of standing around looking menacing.

[Iris]

The woman looked to Soleene, then to Deonis, and finally to Tyllia. With a shrug she walked away, hand going up to her ear. Walking over by the entrance she waited and it wasn't but a minute more before both Minn and Iris entered the room. Looking between those gathered here Minn stepped off with the one that was previously running the show while Iris approached the group.

"Our intent was to look into this building for renovations and instead we find.. you three? Who am I talking to?" she said the end with a speed that naturally inspired a similarly speedy answer. Though he voice was calm and measured, even adding a pleasant smile as she looked to Soleene.

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene looked impassively at Iris. Admittedly, she couldn't really show much of a reaction with a helmet on, so it did kind of count as 'impassive'. Regardless, she did stand her ground and nodded at her. "I'm Soleene, just Soleene the Mandalorian."

[Deonis Harik]

"Deonis." came a terse reply

[Tyllia Demici]

"Tyllia Mantero," she said, "I think we might've met before. We run in similar circles. But you meet a lot of people, and I've never been important enough to remember."

She looked around the ruin.

"By the way, hope the real estate agency told you about all the bad stuff that went down here. I hear that usually drives the price down. Anyway, was told you'd be here, and figured I'd check in. See if there are any opportunities for me to help you while making a few credits in the process."

[Iris]

"If we've met before and I don't recall you, that wouldn't speak very well of you, would it?" she suggested with a smile. Glancing between the members of the group she tapped a lone finger on her elbow, crossed arms over her stomach.

"I like him," she glances toward Deonis, "and I know her worth," then to Soleene, "but you.. I'm not quite sure about. Are you all looking for work?" she quirks a brow.

[Tyllia Demici]

She shrugged. "Those of us with more subtle talents rarely stand out despite how useful subtlety can be in this line of work. I'd say it speaks quite well of me that you don't recall me. It means I did my job well. I could give you my references, if neccesary, of course."

By itself, she figured it was unlikely to impress; and she didn't want to just... convince through words. So she cooked up a little demonstration of talent that exemplified how her talents could be put to use. A risky play perhaps, but worth attempting.

Her appearance; at least as far as Iris was concerned (and no one else), seemed to mirror that of the woman. As if there were now three twin sisters, instead of just the two.

"I can't speak for the others, but I've got an itch for credits."

And then she went back to being just Tyllia. It'd lasted long enough to be noticed, and hopefully short enough that Iris didn't have too long to contemplate what it was she was actually seeing; as that could lead to a less desireable outcome.

While she wasn't fully knowledgeable about this woman, there was something about turning circumstance into opportunity at the very least. Worst had happened to her, admittedly. "I am looking to get a feel for this place and work is often the best way to get it."

[Iris]

For the others, they saw Iris' eyes go wide for a brief second as the woman reacted instinctually. A hand flared out and just missed Tyllia's cheek as Tyllia herself was able to step back and avoid it. For a brief moment Iris seemed flustered but contained herself with a few short breaths. Glancing between the two she corrected her stance and stood a little taller, patting down/smoothing out her attire from the sudden outburst. Behind her all eyes had darted this way and Minn was already moving over from behind her sister.

Iris glared at Tyllia but shifted her gaze, and her demeanor to the calm she held before, over to Soleene, "There is work," she then turned to look to Deonis, "For the three of you. We won't be discussing it further here."

"I'm sorry," she said, feigning ignorance and mild shock at the outburst. "I must've said something wrong. You have my apologies if that is the case."

But of course, the point had been made, and there was work for the *three* of them.

[Deonis Harik]

He might not be able to see the illusion Tyllia was using but the feeling of the force being used in such close proximity to him was undeniable. A small look was given to Tyllia but Deonis said nothing.

When the alteraction happened his hand move towards the hilt of his blade but it diffused as quickly as it started and he calmed back down regarding Iris with the emotionless stare of his visor.

Minn came up from behind her sister and laid a hand on her shoulder, staring daggers at Deonis, having been in position to catch the sight of his twitchy hand. Leaning in a little she whispered something to her sister. Iris in turn did the same, and with the finishing of their brief conversation Minn stepped away again. Giving a nod over her shoulder toward their company. With that nod two of the suits approached and stood flanking Iris, just in case, hands on their blasters.

[Iris]

"Careful," Iris reminds Tyllia with a pleasant tone. Settling back as she had been prior following the brief moment she takes another deep breath and exhales.

"Tomorrow," she looks between each member of the group. "Return here if you wish. One of our people will be present to deliver the details of the task we have in mind. Considering," she glances to Deonis, and then Soleene, and finally settles on Tyllia, "your personal strengths, I find it will be work well suited to you."

[Deonis Harik]

If the glares bothered him he made little indication of it but nods at the information "tomorrow then." Was all he said in reply

[Tyllia Demici]

She looked to the other for a moment, then back to the sisters, and simply nodded. Best not push her luck any further.

[Soleene Stryss]

What is...Who... Soleene thought to herself when she saw fists were being thrown around. It was almost enough to have her feel like she was going to jump forward and throwing down in the brawl. A brawl that didn't happen, obviously. She felt a bit of the anxiety in the air but know the actual source, despite being spooked by it. Maybe she had seen too many episodes of Force Ghosts of Coruscant where the ghost investigators would make a big fuss of a 'powerful presence' in the home.

"...Yeah," she said to break her silence on the matter and confirm her interests. "I'll be there with bells on. Well, I'll be there with whatever you see here."

[Meiyokashi]

Iris took one last look at the group and then turned, rejoining her sister. As she did the two immediately started speaking softly between one another as they moved toward the exit. Those guards that flanked Iris moments before waited until they received word that the twins were safely out of the building and only then exited behind them.

Few moments later the group would hear the vehicle pull away.
