[Day 3 - Late Morning] Heck of a Place

Soleene waited for a few beats until they were gone and even for the sound of the vehicle to clear their hearing range. She gave them both a look before speaking. "Well, I didn't get the memo but I guess I got it now."

"Figured you would know if you were here this morning." Deonis said regarding the mandalorian moment "Right place right time i guess."

[Tyllia Demici]

"You should probably know that you'd be getting into bed with the cartel if you actually show up tomorrow," she said, with a shrug.

She assumed the sisters were discussing the little trick Tyllia had pulled on Iris. Whether that would come back to bite her in the ass at some point was really a question of how educated in such things they were, and if they were; whether or not they had any long-term planning abilities. At the very least if they were looking into renovating *this* place, it would appear they had some of the latter.

"I was here to just look at some cool ruins and get a feel of the city. However, nothing really beats getting to know the city other than working for it. Well, I would consider them as part of the inner workings and government of the city for better or worse," she nodded.

"I don't know why they're so spooked about you, especially when they didn't seem to care just a moment ago," she said to Tyllia.

She shrugged like it hadn't really been a big deal. "I guess she didn't really like my joke about giving her my references. Sometimes these cartel types have short fuses."

She gave a few nods in acceptance at the answer. "Yeah, that's not surprising. They do have a strange of communicating. You'd think that sometimes a 'no, thanks' would suffice over a blaster shot in the face. Then again, sometimes the planetary government isn't too different and the difference comes down to the competitive rates. I guess I should do my research now."
