"Anyone snore?"

She looked at them both.

"If not, then nearest will do."

[Manny Donos]

Manny grinned. "I don't. Here, check it out!" With his fist, he mashed the controls of the door adjacent to his. It slid open with a hiss. "Ayyyyy!" He said, giving the pair a thumbs-up.

Inside was a fairly serviceable room. In fact, for a freighter, it was pretty nice; the HWK-1000 got a few extra points for style. The bed, built into the far wall, was big enough to actually stretch out a bit on, or possibly to be a shark on. Storage compartments were on one wall, a simple console on the other. Compact but comfortable.

"This'll do me."

She slung her bag at the bed from the door, one bounce into the wall and it settled onto the bunk.

"Need any help with your gear, Dhel?"

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

"Never been told that I snore," Dhel says, looking over the space. Ok, her sister says she does, but that's when she's being bratty and teasing, so it's probably not true. [narrator: she snores like an elderly cat, actually]

Watching the Mirialan toss her own bag into a wall, Dhel hastily dodges the offer of help. "I'll be fine. Carried it all the way here. But I'm gonna want to see what you're doing with the door controls there, Manny." She hadn't paid that much attention to the button mashing. "Oh...and like, how to get in and out when you're not hanging out here in a box with the ramp down."

[Manny Donos]

"Oh, uh..." He moved over, and mashed the control to the door opposite the one Sholua chose. "Open. The second button on the inside locks it. I can override..." He scratched his head, "-or so I've been told. I don't actually know how, so, don't have a heart attack in your room or anything."

He grinned. "Yeah, the box was pretty cool, huh? Ummm, same controls when you're inside. But I'll have to get you keycards for when no one's in. First thing tomorrow!" He gave an eager nod.

Dhel peers around him to watch the button mashing. OK, that was simpler than she'd thought, actually. "Well, no popping out from under the bed if you're trying not to give people heart attacks, ok?" After a pause. "Box is fine though...I'm kind of expecting that now."

She looks over the space. "This is...honestly more space than I've had to myself in ages." She'd half expected to be sharing berths in a single room with at least one of the other ship residents. And he doesn't know how to override the lock? That was...both confusing and strangely reassuring.

Both feeling are banished with a grin and return to immediate business. "Lemme dump my stuff on the bed before you get to the important part of the tour...where the refresher is, and if there's any kind of schedule with this many people in here."

[Manny Donos]

Manny smiled, pleased that everyone seemed to like their new rooms. "Hey, so, yeah, let me know if you need anything, huh? Kitchen's straight down that way, and refresher is first door on the right."

Still smiling he shook his head at Dhel's question. "Haven't needed a schedule yet. But neither Leah or her boyfriend have any hair, so I think that makes it a lot easier. He glanced at Sholua, with her long hair. "Hrm." He glanced at Dhel...

"Maybe we'd better figure something out." He said.

[Sholua Tempes]

"Well at least we're all different colours so we'll know who's jamming the drain up."

She offered jovially . . .

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

Dhel...who as the eternal suspect in such drain clogs was also the designated cleaner of them in her family...made a face. "Yeaaah, nobody around here makes plumbing fit for fur. Brushing first helps a lot."

She aims a hip-bump at Manny on her way past. "If it's a problem getting everyone in and out, guess we just have to double up sometimes, then!" Her bag slips to the floor with a light thump, and the pile of clothing is just dropped on the bed to be sorted later.

"A kitchen too? Hmm...I can toast some lily-nuts for the movie." Seeds from one of the flowers that are actually native, and broadly edible puff up into a bland, but satisfyingly crunchy snack.

[Manny Donos]

"Haha, yeah..." Manny agreed cheerfully as Dhel's hip bumped him.

A few moments passed.

"Wait, what?" He said, doing a double-take. "Oh, ah huh..." He grinned. "Well, uh, hey, that sounds great. The nuts I mean. I'll do egg sandwiches."

[Sholua Tempes]

"I'll dig out something drinkable then."

She peered around at the bits of the ship she hadn't seen yet.

"Drezzie is bound to have something appropriate for a Wookiee Skeleton Punch."

[Manny Donos]

The rest of the ship was mostly the bits that Manny didn't think were as interesting. The engine room, with attached tool area. The engine room featured a console with a big "NO" sign written over it.

"Oh whoa..." Manny looked at Sholua. "What if that was a drink? Wookiee Skeleton Punch? That would be perfect! We just have to figure out what's in it... and what color it should be..." He frowned, thinking super-hard.

[Sholua Tempes]

"Well . . . it should have a lot of . . . . red in it."

What she remembered of the movies was pretty gory. Funny gory, not bleargh gory.

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

"And it's punch...so, basically toss in anything cheap, something fizzy, and something red, right?"

Dhel wonders if the 'no' sign is specifically aimed at Manny, honestly.

[Manny Donos]

Manny grinned. "Yeah, good point."

He made a face. "I've gotta help a friend do a thing. You two have everything you need? Like I said, if you need anything, just ask. I can maybe pick some stuff up on the way back, or something...?" He looked back and forth between his... well, his two new hot female roommates. His expression brightened.

[Sholua Tempes]

"Go do your thing, Cutey. We'll find anything we need."

She sauntered over and gave him a peck on the cheek before continuing the saunter towards what was now her room.

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

Dhel nods, grinning. "What she said," offering a damp-nosed peck on the other cheek before continuing back to the crew quarters and unpacking.

[Manny Donos]

"Well..." Smiling, Manny rubbed both cheeks with, trademark pending, Both Hands. "Okay. I'll be back."

He started to walk out, then shot a grin back over his shoulder. "And hey, movie night tomorrow! Don't forget. It's gonna be great!"

He lingered a few moments longer before making his...

"I guess that's our cue to get comfy. Or are we going to have a 'chat' now, Honey?"

Sholua looked at Dhel. They had the unspoken agreement over what they were doing . . . would that be enough.

Dhel pauses at the door and shrugs. "chat while unpacking? Yours first, or mine?"
