[Manny Donos]

Ask not for whom the droid GONKS...

Geared up and ready to go, Manny was ready to "lead" his "team" deep into GONK territory. Okay, he wasn't exactly leading them... and they weren't so much his team as a group of ladies he knew. But, well, they were there, anyway.

"Well, here we are!" Manny said cheerfully, looking everyone over with his scanner goggles.

[Nara Phln]

"Locked and loaded!"
Nara demonstrates with a satisfying K-Thunk from her rifle and then does it a few more times.

"I haven't done a stealth op in ages. Not since the Neimodian Children's Hospital fire. Got a good feeling about this."

[Sholua Tempes]

Sholua was dressed in dark grey, with her own goggles on her head, other equipment hidden in pockets and pouches. Except the very visible heavy blaster pistol at her hip and the archaic sword strapped across her back, hilt poking out over her shoulder.

"Here we are. In the most dangerous part of the city not run by the Imperials. Fun, fun, fun."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess arrived dressed not too different from what she had been wearing at the bar. Which was a rather somber outfit to begin with. The librarian was also now carrying a backpack, though who knew what she was carrying in it.

"Yes. Here we are." Was her response, both her hands were hidden in coat pockets. "So...do you want to just knock on the first door and ask for directions?"

[Manny Donos]

"But if we're there, we don't need direc... ohhh, I get it." Manny nodded, grinning. "Yeah, maybe, if it comes to that."

He pointed to his scanner goggle covered eyes, and then at Jyr. "But I figure we get a good look at the place first, and then decide what to do. Maybe they'll have a nice vent we can wriggle through or something."

[Sholua Tempes]

Sholua rolled her eyes, luckily not visible under the goggles.

"They patrol. A lot. Maybe we can just track one back to their base. Will have to be fast and quiet."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Probably well enough to observe the patrols. See if there are any patterns." Jyrvess nodded and frowned, she was more a talky/thinky spy and less and sneaky/shooty spy.

"Any information can be useful after all."

[Nara Phln]

"Sticking our prey through the darkness? Yeah I'm in. That's the start to any great day.....what do the Gonks look like anyway?"

[Sholua Tempes]

"Anything that carries guns or axes and isn't us."

A simple reply, to a very not simple question.

[Flession]

The place itself is bustling and busy, unlike yesterday (which you wouldn't have known, anyways.) Gonk Territory is a large, uninviting area of land that would best be described as a darkened wasteland. Moreso than just your typical romp around the Lower City. Nature has started to return here, as much as it could, the ruined buildings much less here than other areas.

Your likely target, standing out among the wasteland, was a big walled off gate, with houses and other buildings behind it. You all had seen enough of Manny's holovid films to figure this was their home base.

Had to be.

[Nara Phln]

"That's their home base, has to be!"
Peering off at the comound
"Won't be easy to crack."

[Sholua Tempes]

"Not at all."

She peered at it through her goggles.

"Wonder if there's a back door . . . . ?"

[Manny Donos]

"Hmmm... let's check it out." Manny looked around carefully; for all his carefree attitude, he did take heists at least somewhat seriously. "We'll do a casual walk around. Look for guards, ways to get in. I've got an ascension gun, so there's always that, if we see a good way to get up and over."

He frowned, thinking. "Could pretend to be selling them something? Steal a speeder, see if they'll let us go in with that, someone can slip out and look around."

[Manny Donos]

In any case, Manny did lead the way in a look around the compound, looking for other points of interest, moving quietly and cautiously.

Sholua followed quietly, ever on the watch for patrolling gonks.

Nara tagged along, making the odd incoherent hand gesture.

Jyrvess sighed and followed along but not being a particularly skilled thief, she stayed further back but close enough to provide aid if needed.

Sholua continued on as she had before, barely audible to those around her.
