[EA3] - For Over A Thousand Generations....

[Cartess Kenotte]

"I have felt.. a lot here. Through my visions the past few months I have seen much of what might happen, but like you," she looks to Sholua and offers a small smile. "I have not been trained in this manner of the force. Focusing on the visions have been hard and given me little answers. Mostly, I am glad that at least they have allowed me to find you. While others have wished for my guidance.. it is those in this room I find need me most, maybe I need you most," she looks between Phroth, Sholua, and then settles finally on Kira a moment.

"Perhaps our answers lie within one another?" she suggests, looking from Kira to Sholua. "By aiding the people of Bellionas we might do something against the darkness that wells within the spirit of this planet," then to Phroth. "It would be a start. Something we might accomplish without gaining the attention of the inquisitors any further," she looked to Sholua, offered her a brief but hopeful smile.

[Sholua Tempes]

"The Swamp? Everyone knows to avoid the deep swamps. Horror stories every year of people ignoring that advice and never being seen again. To be honest I thought a lot of that was the local crimelords removing undesirables."

She kept hold of the locket still, sizing up Cartess a little longer, before stepping back to one of the open doors behind her. She stuck her head through the door and spoke.

"Thanks guys. Looks like I won't need you after all."

She tossed a fifty credit chip into the room, it didn't hit the floor.

"Yeah keep the fee and have a good drink on me. Easy money, neh?"

[Meiyokashi]

For the others in the room there was just the garbled sound of agreement, a male whom sounded large and a female who wasn't quite as large. They passed a dumb joke between the two of them and then the sounds of them leaving through another door could be heard.

Sholua got a wave, and a wink from the lady.

[Sholua Tempes]

She returned back to them with a smirk.

"I assume you expected me to have my own back up, yes?"

[Cartess Kenotte]

"I hoped you might know some way to protect yourself in case of the worst. A trait we could all make use of these days," she commented with a nod, looking between the Jedi in the room.

[Sholua Tempes]

"Can't be too careful, not with the way the Empire treats non-humans never mind remnants of the past."

She looked at Phroth and the Cartess.

"So, where do we go from here? I'm a long way from the child padawan that fought alongside Master N'Tresni."

[Phroth Lissken]

"We keep hope alive." The Karkodon spoke up. "On Kamda, I communed with the spirit of Master Scylla. These... insurrections? A Rebellion? They will need all the help they can get. The Empire is a blight of pure fear and terror. Without our help? Any embers of hope will be snuffed out."

He tilted his head upwards, taking a deep breath. "While I'm more a take the fight to them approach, this place needs more subtlety, I think."

[Sholua Tempes]

"The shipyard is their primary concern here. Without that I doubt they would have been interested in the planet."

[Kira]

"They've still got the academy, and the Spire- for whatever they're doing in there. Empire's got it's talons pretty deep into Bellionas," she said, stepping forward with a glance between the three.

"Might be good to start small? Folk in the lower city.. they don't tend to get much help from anyone else. Ask me, ground up is the way to help the people of this city best and you don't get note grounded than the people in the lower city."

[Sholua Tempes]

"There's been some rough times but the Lower City has been good to me this last decade. Just avoid the Gonks."

[Phroth Lissken]

"Why not get rid of the Gonks?" He looked to Sholua. "If they're rough, they can't be good for the lower city, yeah?"

[Sholua Tempes]

"There's a lot of them and the Empire doesn't care. They do care about normal Bellionassians gathering in armed gangs to take something on. It's like they think we'd be fighting them instead of the Gonks."

She shrugged.

"Some do fight them though. Supposed to be a tincan with a grudge going up against them lately."

[Kira]

"Yea, taking the fight to the gonks would just about be like eating a whole war," she said with a smirk, but it faded as she looked between those here.

"Folk need plenty of saving from time to time though. Place gets more dangerous to travel in by the day and with someone poking the hive it's only gonna get worse. Having a few capable badasses keeping an eye on things could go a long way."

[Phroth Lissken]

"I can do some patrols. Though I tend to give a 'don't kriff with me' vibe, if you know what I mean." Phroth grinned, and there was something dark and sinister there. Then he cleared his throat.

"They gotta have some top dog though. The biggest bad ass they got, drop them, and the rest would crumble, yeah?"

[Sholua Tempes]

"Not that I know of. They're not your average gang. Definitely a bit more to it. Maybe tribe would be a better word for them."

[Kira]

"Seen plenty of gangs on Coruscant fall like that- mostly it just turns out into plenty of infighting and violence that tears up the neighborhood. Not really sure that's something we want with a band of vicious freaks like the gonks," she looked over Phroth a moment, smiled. "You know, if I had to try and peg you all as Jedi well- Cartess for sure but not you big guy. Not like any of the other Jedi I've seen.. and here I thought Cartess was pretty loose compared to the rest of 'em," she chuckled, glancing at the woman.

[Cartess Kenotte]

"Patrols.. a watchful eye, that is something I think we can accomplish together in the very least. Though perhaps we can also keep our eyes on other means of lending aid? Food.. medicine, I am sure would be something the people here need most," she said.

[Sholua Tempes]

"Ten years thinking I'm the only one might have changed things for me."

She said to Kira, before addressing Cartess.

"There's a docs station in the Lower City. It's a start, but usually too busy to help all but a fraction of those in need."

[Phroth Lissken]

The sharkman laughed at that, hands going behind his head, teeth on fill display. "Not the first and not the last time I'll get that. It takes a lot of... mindfulness on my part. Especially after everything. Another life, my master and I would probably have been deep in Wild Space or Unknown Space with ExplorCorps." There was something else in his words, a pang of sadness as the corners of his mouth turned slightly dour.

He looked to the others. "My kind of help tends to run to the bloody end kind. Quick, clean, no excess of casualties or suffering. I don't have the brains or talent for medicine. I'm fast and strong and... determined. Foraging, sure, but not in the numbers your talking."

[Kira]

"Docs, yea!" Kira snapped her fingers with the thought. "Night even have need for a big guy like this," she smirked with a glance to Phroth.

"They're set up some ways outside what's generally safe for most people. They do what they can to keep things in the area passive but plenty of folk don't manage out their way from the danger. I'm sure there's something out there that could use a few Jedi solving?"
