"Can do."

She said meaning the unpacking.

"We're on to a good thing here and so far we've worked together. Cutey is a good guy, I think you see that to. I think . . . . I don't want him hurt in this."

Dhel actually looks a bit confused. "Hurt as in... I mean, I'm pretty sure we don't have to cut him in half to share at this point." She gestures around the room..."he's fine handing out this sort of space, and if that means not being a jealous sandcat...well, I'm not one. Are you?"

"I've been a survivor long enough to know when to share and when not to."

There was a clang as she tossed something metallic on the floor.

"If this does fall apart, let's make sure we leave Cutey in one piece. Unless it's his fault."

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

Dhel glances toward the door. "Chances of it being his fault are not small though."

She perches at the edge of the bed, hands against the slight give of the sleeping pad. "I'm not going to claim this stuff is always clean, but I don't set out to make it messy. I already feel a bit in the hole for that dinner. Repaid the stupid egg and then some, and I don't think he's the kind to take that out the hard way, you know? So...I don't mind a little extra effort there."

"I'm going to help him out with a job. We were discussing it while you were singing tonight. A Doc gone missing in Gonk-land. If it goes well he should get more back than he spent at the casino. Maybe I'll get him something for this old crate with my share."

She banged the cabin wall and there was a clatter as something fell in her cabin.

"Oh tschad. These walls are flimsier than I thought."

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

"I wondered about all that crowd. That's...well, I'm not cut out for the kind of jobs that bring in those sorts of credits, but I'm glad that's something coming his way then." And she'd just need to pull weight in some other fashion. Space of her own was a sweeter deal than pretty much any she'd run across so far.

"Wait...in Gonk-land? That's crazy dangerous, and you're going? For that matter, Manny seems about as dangerous to Gonks as I'd be." She winces as things fall.

[Sholua Tempes]

"We'll keep him safe. We only got the job because he was there. His contacts, his call. Miss S.R.S. seems like she knows her way around an operation and the Chiss is absolutely crazy but looks a complete combat specialist. And I know my way around a fight or three."

To back up her point the metallic crash from earlier is revealed to be her sword, which reflects the ships lights with it's folded steel.

"Oh right! Noticed that earlier. Kind of figured it was a prop." Sitting back a bit, it's obvious that Dhel is doing some rapid reassessment of her new shipmate.

"So..not to offend. But...if jobs pulling that kind of pay are in your wheelhouse, why work the pole? I mean, you're really good at it. But the rest? Working the angles for fancy meals and this kind of thing here?" She offers another gesture toward the ship in general and what they're apparently in some agreement about owing for it. "Seems less necessary, and you don't seem like you're just doing those things for fun..."

[Sholua Tempes]

"I can do both equally well. The heavy stuff pays better. The pole is damn sight safer."

She unsheathed the sword and checked the edge, still as sharp as ever.

"And too many rough jobs get you on the Imperial radar, and I would very much like to avoid any and all Imperial entanglements."

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

"Oh, hmm...yeah, that makes sense. And I guess they won't care if it's just Gonks." Dhel absently swings her feet, considers asking how one learns to use a sword, then thinks better of digging into pasts.

She hops off, starting for the door. "OK then, you're keeping him safe, we're keeping him happy, and he's providing a safe, if not entirely solid, home for a bit." Lowering her voice, she adds, "That poster though...D'you think she actually does any magic or just has distracting enough cleavage that nobody really notices the tricks?"

"With those distractions she could be robbing the audience and they wouldn't notice. If the audience is made up of Cutey and the like."

She grinned.

"It's days are numbered. Just need to find a suitable . . . replacement."

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

"I mean...I'd be distracted, even knowing that she's just working the room and I should know better!" Dhel chuckles with a slightly distant gaze.

A gaze that snaps back to the present after a moment "Hmm...any preferences? I know a shop with a big stash of old vid posters. Not sure there's any comparable beefcake in there, which would be only fair. But plenty of fun stuff."

"Fairly certain we can find a blonde himbo surfing on a beach poster somewhere. Turn the tables. See how he reacts to a reversal."

She grinned again.

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

Dhel grins. "I am completely down with that."

"And I'm betting he's vaguely uncomfortable for a few reasons. Which will be worth watching." At the door, she pauses at the door a moment. "OK...g'night then. I'll try not to bang around too much getting unpacked."

"Oh don't worry. I can sleep through an earthquake to be honest. Some . . . techniques I learnt as a kiddoe."

Well it was an honest statement. Force meditation did teach you that kind of skill.
