The droid takes a spot near the Karkodan, opens a storage unit, turns off the fusion lantern inside, then closes the compartment and proceeds into a near storage mode. With only the head not in a clump of metal, he then asks "so what are we watching?"

"Whatever Manny picks. I'm just here for the company and the food. Mostly the company." He grinned, looking at the droid, before a large handful of snacks disappeared into his maw.

"Just easier for me to sit on the floor. Don't take up as much space on the furniture for others."

[Manny Donos]

"Watch out, my skeleton!" Manny grinned at Sholua.

But then, it was time for the movie to start. Manny pressed a button, dimming the lights. And then a second on a different remote, and the vidplayer turned on...

Action music began to play as the camera centered on a Wookiee, kneeling on a black floor, the rest of the room dark. CGI stone blocks flew in, circling the Wookiee... and then, with a mighty roar, he rose to his feet. With a series of powerful blows, punches and kicks, he struck the blocks, stone shattering and crumbling away. In the remnants of the stone blocks, words could be seen:

THE LEGEND OF RAWRBACCA

"Woooo!" Manny cheered, pumping one hand awkwardly; he had Green in one hand, and green woman in the other, after all.

[Manny Donos]

Rawrbacca had a humble beginning as the son of a blacksmith on Kashyyyk. Both his parents worked very hard, and loved him very much, as demonstrated by the short opening scene. But then...

Everything was on fire. Rawrbacca's mighty arms were held by three goons each, and his legs by two goons each. Only his long limbs made it so that the actor was visible as more than just a pile of goons.

"That's right, kid." The evil Trandoshan, Hissface, laughed. And hissed. "I killed your parents. And burned down their shop. All because of this..." He held up a big knife. "It's mine now. And there's nothing you can do about it! Hahahahisshisshahahiss!"

Hissface tucked the knife in his belt. "Throw him over the edge." Rawrbacca howled, but there was nothing he could do as the goons awkwardly marched him over to the railing, and threw him over. One goon was clearly going to fall as well, but the camera cut to a shot of Rawrbacca, falling and howling... crashing through the trees... darkness...

...

Lie still, young one. A soft voice could be heard. The camera simulated blurry eyes flickering open to reveal a Wookiee... except with half white fur, half black fur. "You've had a long fall. But you survived. Maybe, just maybe... you are the one." The dub job was... okay.

[Sholua Tempes]

Sholua treated it as a comedy, laughing at everything.

"Oh . . . it's so badly done. What a farce!"

She took a long chug of 'green'.

"Can't even have a drinking game of we'd all be on the floor by half way."

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

"Never seen a half-n-half Wookie before," Dhel says, curling her legs up on the couch if nobody else is going to sit there.

She doesn't follow much of the mystical explainations of 'the one' or anything, but the training montage...Dhel has to giggle at the balancing on one finger...fingerstand?...whatever... while breaking flung rocks with his free fist moment.

"That can't be real, right?"

It obviously isn't, you can pretty much see poor Rawrbacca struggling to keep his finger on the mark as every punch threatens to swing him like a fuzzy pendulum across the set.

[The SCaT Droid]

"Oh, we're allowed to talk through this? Then in that case, why go through all of that trouble for a knife, was it even a vibroweapon? I've seen pieces of stone that cut deeper than that."

[Tyllia Demici]

"It's obviously a Rykk blade," she stated whilst looking around for popcorn, "it's got special cultural significance to them, and a non-wookie wielding one is a terrible insult. Trandoshan's love to take them as trophies."

[Manny Donos]

There wasn't popcorn, but the nuts that Dhel had toasted were kinda like popcorn. And there were a few bowls, not just the one in Manny's lap. "I mean, it's not real real." Manny said. "But maybe it's kinda real? I dunno."

...

A few goons were sitting around a table in an apartment, eating soup. The scrape of their spoons was audible, and one of them was definitely a slurper. There was about thirty seconds of this, and then...

KRASH!

The wooden front door exploded into splinters as Rawrbacca jumpkicked through it. The momentum from the jumpkick carried him into the room, landing with a solid thunk on one of the thugs as he began to rise. "Aaaaaaaaaahhhh!" The thug screamed as he was propelled back through the glass of the window, falling to his presumed death below.

"Where is he?" Yelled Rawrbacca, even as he engaged the thugs. More came streaming out of an adjacent room. Rawrbacca punched one in the sternum, sending him flying back into two others. "Where's Hissface?"

"I'll tell you." Rawrbacca turned to see a Rodian dressed in loose robes. Even as he watched, the Rodian extended one foot forward, and then up, doing the splits vertically. "But first, you must defeat me!"

The two faced off, and then Rawrbacca rushed forward...

"Oh this fight is a doozy! Go get 'em, Rawrbacca!!"

She was on her second or third cup of 'green' by now.

"So are they trying for martial arts or deep state jingoism?"

[Tyllia Demici]

"Deep state wha--" she blinked, Manny wasn't the only crazy one around here. "Are we watching the same movie?"

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

It's definitely exciting, or at least there's lots of movement on the screen.

Dhel is more used to seeing that splits move from dancers like Sholua. Given that the latter also fights things, she leans a bit to peer around Manny to the Mirialan, "is that..." she lifts her leg in half-assed mimicry, "even effective?"

She points Tyllia at one of the bowls on a table "they're just kind of roasted, crunchy nothing...good for eating without thinking about it much. Can you pass the bottle of not-green stuff there if you're going for a bowl?"

[Sholua Tempes]

"More likely to get twenty credits in the tip bowl than help with kicking someone in the face!"

She shifted, getting even closer to Manny . . .

[Manny Donos]

"So are they trying for martial arts or deep state jingoism?"

"Haha, yeah." Manny laughed. There was a pause. "Wait, what?"

He flashed a quick grin at Dhel, and then one at Sholua. "Yeah, too bad Rawrbacca doesn't have any eggs, huh? That would have been a great time for one." He cleared his throat as Sholua slid closer, suddenly wishing he hadn't invited quite so many people... "Hey..." He murmured.

It was a mighty fight, but Rawrbacca was victorious. Panting, the Rodian fell back. "Hissface... is on a ship in orbit. The transponder code is on my datapad. Now... let's end this! He dropped into a crouch, Rawrbacca doing the same, and then they both jumped...

"Here it comes...!" Manny said, his eyes wide.

The Rodian kicked (of course), but it went wide. Rawrbacca pulled his fist back and did an aerial punch...

As it connected with the Rodian's sternum, special effects zoomed in on the Rodian's internals, showing his skeleton. The force of Rawrbacca's fist shattered it... and the spine... and various other bits. Still in CGI mode, the fragments flew out of the Rodian's body, puncturing the far wall.

Rawrbacca bowed to his fallen adversary (or what was left of him), left hand covering his right fist.

"Yeah! Everybody drink!" Manny drank, draining the rest of his Green.

[Sholua Tempes]

"Skel . . . eh . . . ton . . . PUNCH!!!!!"

Sholua had been ready for it.

[Tyllia Demici]

Tyllia had gone over to get the snacks and the bottle, then went back to her seat; noticing what was going on.

God, she was... *obvious*... about it, wasn't she? Well, whatever. It was just information to her. Insights.

Then came the skeleton punching.

"That... is terrible. Why would he bow like that after killing the guy working for the bad guy?"

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

Dhel, had not been ready for it, and stares for a long moment, jaw slightly ajar. "oh. my. stars. What?" She drinks, almost without thinking, and then starts laughing, turning to bury her face in Manny's shoulder to smother it a bit.

[The SCaT Droid]

"Something about always respecting your opponents in martial arts . . . never knew anyone on a battlefield who actually did however."

[Manny Donos]

"Told you it was awesome!" Manny said to no one in particular, although he did playfully nudge Dhel with his elbow.

A battered and bloody Rawrbacca fought his way to the bridge of Hissface's ship. They'd fought for some time, and it looked like Rawrbacca was going to win, but then Hissface's elite security arrived! Now, instead of a bunch of goons, two Wookiees held his arms, evil Wookiees in service to the even more evil Trandoshan.

"Hisshahahahisshiss..." Hissface laughed and hissed. "It's no good, Rawrbacca. It's over." He pulled the knife from behind him, THAT knife, the one he'd taken from Rawrbacca's parents. "Now it's time to finish the job myself."

Of course, what the audience could see was Rawrbacca, eyes closed, slowly breathing in and out, as he'd been trained to. Hissface drew closer, grinning toothily, raising the knife.

Rawrbacca's eyes snapped open.

"This is for my parents!" He growled, the words not really matching up. Flexing, he swung the two Wookiee bodyguards into Hissface. A moment later, and his strong arms wrapped around all three of them.

"Not like this! Not like thissssssssssss!" Hissface hissed. But it was too late. With a mighty roar, Rawrbacca lifted all three of them, bending over backwards to perform a three-person suplex!

[Sholua Tempes]

"Ha!!!"

Sholua was just creased up laughing now.
