Kar'am (D4, EA, Mando Safehouse)

[Claymore Wren]

After being under the weather yesterday and some leg work for the cause earlier, Claymore decides to take some time to center himself again. It might leave him open to a few new people knowing him secret, maybe...

He sits down on the ground and pulls out his tool kit in front of him. He then unholsters his customized C-10 Heavy Blaster Pistol. With his helmet on, people shouldn't notice his eyes closed. Though, he does check and oil the gun so often he can do it blindfolding, because of his meticulous with his gear. Clay goes through the motions of taking the blaster apart piece by piece checking how worn each one is with his measuring tools. The measuring tools he using have the tick marks below the surface of the tool, so he can feel his way through.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess leaned against a wall, she recognized the sort of calming rituals people go through and left Clay to his work. Once he has finished she would speak. "I am not much of a gun person, but it looks pretty clean to me." She smirked and pointed at the gun. "Finicky weapon or just like to be extra sure it works when you need it?"

"Weapons are part of my religion..." He laughed. "I just needed a little meditation is all." Giving her a smile under him helmet.

"So, how are you doing today? And I do have something that might interest too." He got up and got is his datapad.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Busy, as always it seems." Jyrvess shrugs, "But not to busy to stop by."

She quirks up an eyebrow, 'Something interesting?"

[Claymore Wren]

"Yes." He taps a few times on the datapad to string of code he found. Then gave Jyrvess the pad. "It looks like an access key for the city. It looks older code by the looks of it. It maybe be links through a lot of older subsystems." He leaned on a table folding his arms. "What do you think?"

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess leans down to take a look, "Yeah...looks like it might be some legacy code from pre-war. I worked with something similar back at the library. Or at least I think I did. There were a lot of variations."

She spends a moment studying the code, to see if it sparked any memories.

[Claymore Wren]

"Yeah, I'm guess its going to take some digging, but it looks like something to keep around for sure." He pointed a finger in the air on his left hand.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Any idea what it was running?" Jyrvess asks, looking over the code again. "What the key opens up?"

Triumph Result Day 3:

While working with one of the machines to set it up defensively against potential incursions by other slivers he stumbles upon a bit of code. This code is actually an old access key for the city and links through a lot of older subsystems. While the potential use for this code isn't immediately apparent yet it's very likely he'll come across a good use for it in the future.

"Those are great questions, my friend. Ones I wish I had, but I do not." He pulled his helmet off and set it on the table. "I might not have enough code to do anything yet. I spend my time slicing more cutting edge security measures. I know you do the same, but you thought I'd ask you, as you were a librarian at one point."
