"Shame, isn't it?" Varina pocketed the credits and looked around the room. The smell was pretty bad but she'd fought enough times to get used to that. That and maybe her mom's genes of "not giving a kriff" had gotten to her.

Searching through the apartment, Manny and Raven aren't able to find anything else of use in their investigation. However, Manny in particular noticed a similar obsession with the Manka Cats. Seemed he had a fellow fan, about a day ago.

Carid and his associates weren't sloppy, that was for sure. And were probably aware of them following behind, considering they were removing the loose threads.

"... Let's get out of here. Before Manny pukes."

[Sofia Hargrave]

Stepping over Sofia held up the device she'd been checking out, "Think this is some kinda data-vault or somethin'.. could be useful to you guys?" she suggested, glancing between everyone briefly. Focusing back on Varina with a small smile, "Yea," her voice shifted lower, glancing down at the body with some notable detachment.

[Raven Cadera]

Sofia missed out on seeing Raven's eyes widening. "... Yes. Good job finding that." Raven extended a hand for the device.

It was starting to feel a bit awfully convenient...

"It was in his jacket," she gave a nod toward the closet, handing over the device.

Sofia had gone for the closet and clothes in there pretty quickly, Raven thought, and made a mental note to not bring the device to the safehouse. "Thanks." She'd send a message to Jyr, or Clay if she was unavailable, asking to meet somewhere else to investigate the item.

As they began to move out, she looked to Sofia. "I never got to ask you what you're looking to gain from assisting us. Credits? Entertainment?"

[Sofia Hargrave]

"Probably cause I was pretty up front about that, wasn't I?" she asked with a quirked brow and humored smile. "Not the kinda woman who likes sitting around a whole lot and you guys seemed like you were up to something way more interesting than what I had going on at the motel. And.. you all seemed like good company who needed help."

With a flare and a smile, "I'm just happy to help."

[Manny Donos]

"Oh dip, this guy was a Manka Cats fan." Manny groaned. Shaking his head sadly, he raised one hand, holding it in a claw shape. "Rawr, friend. Rawr." He said.

He turned back to the others. "Yeah, let's get outta here."

[Raven Cadera]

"So you're just... hanging out at the motel without anything better to do, is what you're saying?" it sounded like she was smirking underneath her helmet.

[Varina Ordo]

"Kriff, I'm not seeing anything else," Varina said, kicking a loose piece of trash. "If the Manka Cats are somehow involved, I'm going to be mad."

She glanced over at Raven and Sofia having their own little discussion. It was a bit suspicious but, in this scenario, it seemed like things were working out. They hadn't been ambushed yet with this strangely alluring woman around.

[Sofia Hargrave]

"Yeaa?" Sofia's voice grew suspicious as she narrowed her eyes looking to Raven, trying to parse something out of her helmet but the damned thing was stoic as ever.

The Mandalorian woman chuckled and shook her head. "Must be lucky I guess."

Leaving the apartment behind, she gave Manny a look over as he had seemed closest to puking, making sure he was ok.

"Oh, yea. I am," she flashed her smile and then took to step with everyone else. Exiting the building wasn't difficult, a little less awkward than the ride up in the elevator, but they got down there and as they were passing the clerk in front she gave a passing glance to everyone else but didn't seem like she was jumping up to let the person know what they found.
