"It is not my heritage that makes me unwelcome, but...." He says with a grunt, a small flash of his mind going to a time before all of this. "There is a history here that you do not understand, and one that I care not to explain to you. The point you need to understand is that our wish is to be left alone will be respected, by force if need be. Give your pity and your honeyed words to someone on the surface who cares for such things." He did not seem angry over your words, but perhaps a small part of him wished to believe what you say.

She raises her eyes back to his, listening to his words with respect and attention in her eyes. She nods at him again, her hand still slightly extended to him, and gives him another kind, disarming smile. "I of course respect the fact you folks have a history, friend. And as I said... I'd like to hear it when - and if - you care to share it. I know the past can be hard on us. I understand the wish for safety, tranquility and respect in the future. And I know it is in the now we live, learning from the past and looking towards that future. And it is in the now I'd like to ask you again for at least a small part of your history. What is it that forced your people down here. What is it that afflicts or attacks your people, that prevent you from being left alone?"

She looks deep into his eyes, her kind smile combined with a serious look now. "And it's in the now that I make this offer again. What is it one could possibly do - I could possibly do - to help bring peace and calm to your people, friend?"

The man looks down at her for a moment and sighs, putting his heavy gun down. "It's too late for that..far, far too late. Nothing will change now. She looks at her extended hand and sighs. "I do believe your intentions, although foolish, are well meaning. So, the two of you may walk out of here today." He stares at the man with the armor for a few moments and nods. "Not much else to add, armored one? Wise to let her speak, lest you spark my rage."

The man stares for a few moments. "Suppose there is one thing you can do to us. Find the Mandalorian who keeps attacking us and bring him to us. He and some droids have killed many of our people here. The droids will be dealt with in time, but the Mandalorian is beyond the city limits. Tell him to come and try it here, rather than our weaker ones."

Her smile is slowly covered by a heavy expression at his words. "...I'm sorry to hear that, friend." When he adds the request about the Mandalorian, she raises one brow. "Oh. Have they just attacked you, then??" She seems disturbed at the idea. "Well, I certainly see why you're after them... No peace or respect spring from bloodshed. I don't know who they are, but I'll try to find out.", she says with a nod.

She then slowly draws her hand back, convinced that she won't be able to get much further in her attempt - for now, at least. "I'm happy to hear you trust my intentions, at least, friend. May I at least ask the name of the man I've spoken to, as I've given you mine? And... if the mind of your folk changes on the matter... you can probably find me in the Lower City, or at the Rebyk Motel in the surface. That... or I can give you a comlink contact, if you want. Just want to leave the door open, yeah?", she says with another smile - kind, but fainter.

Deonis shrugged "not one for talking." Was all he said in reply his voice steady. He had doubts about this man and how he viewed these 'attacks' on his people who more than likely shot first.

"As I am, armored one." He gives a large smirk on his face and turns to the woman.

The man nods. "We don't use comms here; it has made for various problems. But, my name is Oshazich. I will not reach to you, but I appreciate the concern." He nods. "I will inform the others not to attack you, should you come wandering in here again. This is not aguarantee that they will always listen, however. You should still avoid coming, unless otherwise summoned."

He grunts loudly and looks at them. "I would suggest we end discussions for today, Zimrzala, for your own safety. I don't know when the others will return, and there are larger problems here inside of this camp that you do not see. You have my respect for now, but I will not be so kind to either of you should you try to sneak into our camp again." He clutched his fist tightly at the mention. "You may leave thru the front gate."

Zimrzala's smile broadens slightly again at the Mirialan's words. "Thank you for your trust and respect, Oshazich. If I do return, it' the front gate I'll call at - and I'll wait for your folks' word to enter." She nods to him again, a respectful nod that keeps low for a moment. "I... hope we do meet again. But until then - goodbye, and may you find the peace you seek".

When she finally raises her head, she turns it back towards Deonis, nodding to him in turn with a thankful smile. "Shall we?"

Deonis and Zim may still have something to say to each other here, but otherwise I think we can start making our way back? Or is there something else Deonis would want to do here?

Deonis nods and starts to head back toward the front gate. When they made it a few paces furrther out he turned to her "Went better than expected. You are good with your words Zimrzala. Would have been a fight if you were not here." he said as they made their way back to the lower city.

She nods to him with a humble smile. "I... try to do my best, Deonis. Help people find the calm they have inside them." She shrugs. "It's a good feeling when it works. Today... I think it did, to some extent. May help prevent some blood from spilling. And maybe..."

She looks at him with a faint smile. "I would like to understand their history better. But... I feel greater freedom in the surface would help them as much as other Bellionassians." Another shrug. "Might be mistaken. What do you think?"

"I think he is the exception in being willing to talk. The Gonks raid lower city unprovoked and regularly attack people who wander into the ruined city. I wouldn't be surprised if this Mando they talk about was defending themself."

"Might be", she answers, thoughtfully. "On both accounts. But then, the question remains - why? What leads them to that? And... In the end, a yearning for tranquility is often in the deep core of our desires and actions, as my Sh'sei taught me. Even when we desire, hate, fight. Kill, even. So I wonder - what is it that would give them greater tranquility? Could they process, or focus their anger, or hate, to reach that tranquility?"

She looks at Deonis, and there is a moment of thoughtful silence before she speaks again. "Do you know the Mandalorian they mentioned, friend?"
