"Yeah." Jyrvess nodded slowly, "It always goes like that, claim normality but well..." She dips her head toward the street. About that time the dessert arrived.

"Well, time for less heavy topics?" She tapped the the counter surface near her own dessert.

"Yes, we certainly have more pleasant matters to focus on." he agreed. "And, I'm sure we'll have the opportunity to address those other concerns at a better time."

"Well then...to a brighter future." Jyrvess takes a spoonful of pie and ice cream, then holds it up in a mock toast.

He joined her in the gesture then eagerly began eating his pie.
