It felt like that was a trend across cultures and traditions indeed. Even Mandalorians couldn't escape politics - theirs just seemed more on the violent side of things compared to the others.

"It must be difficult for you then, to enter the fray of politics with that hanging over you," she offered, showing her sympathies for how that might feel for Jyrvess. "As you've surely noticed, not even the Mando'ade are without their own politics. I just hope... hmmm... I just prefer honesty, you know. And I say that knowing I'm not honest all the time."

"No one ever is," Jyrvess smiles slightly, "Though some are only dishonest through ignorance. Of course my career was steeped in the darkest of politics, though entirely different in nature from what I do now. Blackmail, assassination, extortion, treachery, secrets, propaganda, and the application of psychological pressure to support the politicians doing the talking or destroy those against the Empire."
