Here Comes The Bride... (D5, EA)

[Meiyokashi]

Kneeling there on her daughters chest Reibelle looks down at her. Watching her for a few seconds as she simply existed in that moment with a stoic expression. Something that the others could judge from the mood of the Raiders was rare. Moving off of her daughter Reibelle turned away and approached the Raider holding her helmet and claimed it from him. Pausing only to speak something to him before she walked away nursing her hand. While the ring was slowly separating away and breaking apart returning just to a group of warriors standing about.

Given that pause the raider stepped forward, "I can speak for the Raiders," he assured the others of the group.

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene watched seemingly impassively over the family affair but she was very not happy about this under her helmet. They were dragged out into the badlands only to end up having to deal with an entirely different mess altogether. Would she have done differently if she was in Varina's shoes? Probably not but it was really easy to think better of oneself when they were watching from the sidelines. She would have thrown a better punch at the very least.

Jumping in the air, really? What is this? Wrestling? She would have pinched her nose if it wasn't for her helmet.

She nodded back to the raider. "So, as my sister mentioned earlier. We're looking to work together, I heard that you've caused quite a headache to the local Imperials...but first and foremost, we need to find Carid. We're not going to stand for what he did."

[Raven Cadera]

As the mother and daughter had their fight, Raven retrieved her helmet which she had dropped when Varina had flung herself at the Valkyrie. She had watched the interaction between the two impassively, though also disapprovingly. Likely because of Varina's terrible timing, but also the actual skill on display.

With that out of the way for now, thankfully, Raven stood beside Soleene to back up her words. She had said her piece before Varina attacked after all, so the ball was in the Raider's court.

[Claymore Wren]

With the focus on being mostly on the mother and daughter, Clay stated looking around at the rest the Raiders to see if there were more Night Owls and Death Watch armor or helmets. While he added a good amount of green and left half of his helmet was white with an accent of purple, it still was fairy obvious Death Watch. And the Death Watch crest on the top of the right temple of his helmet was still there.

[Varina Ordo]

Varina coughed a couple times after her mother released her. She rolled over and propped herself off the ground, more out of instinct than actual desire. Her jaw needed a little bit of flexing but it could have been much worse.

The teen glanced over at the group then stayed where she was. She didn't need to be involved in this chat, not when she was still on the verge of tears over her stupid mom.

[Meiyokashi]

One of the warriors from the surrounding group walked over and sat by Varina without a word. Continuing to watch the central focus unfold...

Removing his helmet the man who spoke revealed a brown crew cut, green eyes, and a scar going down his neck. "We've been held up the past while tending our wounded. Carid and his followers returned here after your altercation," he briefly scanned across the faces present and focused in on Silas a moment but looked back to Soleene. "When we learned of what transpired and the blood spilt needlessly from one of those that accompanied him there was an altercation. The Valkyrie decried him for wasting life and making enemies where the Salky Raiders needed none. She has seen little merit in Mandalorian politics.." he glances to indicate the followers around him, "and we all agree on that."

"Lines were drawn, we fought and then him and his people fled. Where they've gone we're not certain but they no longer may count themselves among our number. We believe you and yours have actually made more progress," he looks to Raven, "a few of our scouts," he glances down toward the warrior beside Varina, and then to Raven, "followed you to the Motel after you investigated the dead Ithorian. We found no trace to where Carid might have gone when we turned over the place but perhaps?"

[Raven Cadera]

"He has likewised tarnished your honor and hurt your group," Raven stated, seeking an understanding there with the Raider who spoke with them. Carid had made more enemies than what was sensible.

"We knew of your location here for a while, but we decided caution and investigation would serve us better than to march right in, in the case that there were more like him waiting here." And in hindsight it seemed like the better option now too. Angered Raiders might've reacted differently to sudden unexpected visitors. "And yes, as your scouts noticed, we have uncovered some leads. Some leads are being investigated further as we speak by allies."

"Perhaps joining forces to bring down Carid and his people would be a good way to move on from the conflict he tried to create between our groups? You have as much right to seek retribution upon him as we do."

[Meiyokashi]

"I would be happy to aid, the bastard deserves it," he glances around to the other Raiders, but most seem uncertain. Crossing his arms he looked back to the group, "But every warrior makes their own choice here. I'm sorry to say but few will be inspired to the fight in the spirit of making peace between our groups, as few here will feel indebted to you and yours. Carid made his choice- on his own- without the Salky Raiders."

"You're free to come and go as you wish. Speak with who you want and recruit warriors to the cause, but that's all I can give. That, and.. my suggestion? When the Valkyrie will speak with you, start with her."

[Soleene Stryss]

"I think you've made a good choice. If we're working together toward a common cause and taking down the ones who insulted us with a very likely possibility of battle...I think that's a sure partnership that will bring us closer at least." She nodded encouragingly at the prospect, hoping that they would see it in the same way.

[Raven Cadera]

Seemed like they had a job ahead of them. In addition to the hunt itself.

"All partnerships must start somewhere," she said, adding her words to Soleene's. "When the Valkyrie is available again, I will follow your suggestion." Hopefully without any stupid interruptions then.

"But it's not only about making peace between our groups. For sure, I do believe that our strengths united would make all enemies of the Mando'ade tremble in fear, but in this matter I would say it's more about being united through honor and bringing down those who have made the mistake of crossing us both."

[Meiyokashi]

"You'll find many who answer that call, I'm certain," he says with a firm nod. As around them many of the warriors began to depart. With the warrior beside Varina standing to their feet and turning to her, offering a hand to give that brief aid in doing the same.

[Varina Ordo]

Varina crossed her arms and looked away. "I don't need anybody. I never did and I never will." She got to her feet by herself and gave a consolation smile to the one next to her. "You're being nice, though, so thanks."

[Raven Cadera]

It seemed that kind of resolved a lot of the meeting. They had confirmed now they were not eachother's enemies, but it would take more work to bring them together.

"Then, I thank you for the offer of hospitality here, at least. We won't intrude upon you, but learning more about eachother while we're already here might not be a bad idea."

Turning her head back to look to Varina, she tried to assess if the girl needed a stim or medical treatment after what happened.

OOC: When would be best to meet again with the Valkyrie, as I assume that will have to be another time?

Varina crossed her arms and looked away. "I don't need anybody. I never did and I never will." She got to her feet by herself and gave a consolation smile to the one next to her. "You're being nice, though, so thanks."

"Not about need," she said, retracting her hand as she looked to Varina a moment. Helmet worn her expression wasn't there to be read but she seemed to hold herself in that demeanor which suggested camaraderie. "Just.. accepting help doesn't make you weak, ya know," she said with a kind tone, but didn't linger there.

"Then, I thank you for the offer of hospitality here, at least. We won't intrude upon you, but learning more about eachother while we're already here might not be a bad idea."

Meanwhile, the other warrior approached closer to Raven and the group while the others continued to depart. "I should check in with the others but feel free to walk the camp and do the same. The Valkyrie needed some time to cool off but.. she's quick to do so if you wanted to find her too. Most the warriors here followed her lead when the split with Carid came back, you get her support and you've got most of the camp in your corner."

[Soleene Stryss]

"This went well," Soleene muttered. There was no sarcasm behind it and it was especially the case, considering how the meeting opened. It was perhaps short of them opening fire on each other. "You know, I'm going to miss this place seeming like an unsolved mystery...but more looking forward to the many possible ways we can kick ass now."

[Raven Cadera]

"I feel the same, sister," Raven's words echoed Soleene's sentiments, which carried on further as she patted the other woman on the shoulder. Things had been off to a rough start.

Turning to the rest of the Rebuilder's group with her, she held one hand to her belt while the other hand held the helmet against her hip. "Treat our hosts with respect, and when you choose to return back make certain you do so with care to avoid unwanted attention of outsiders. For now, I will stay here a while, and speak more with our fellow Mando'ade."

OOC: Raven will want to spend the rest of the timeslot being social with the Raiders, trying to lay the foundation for alliances if possible. No need to roleplay it all out since there's lots of other stuff going on too.

[Claymore Wren]

Clay popped up and moved to the rest of the group, "Aw, I didn't get to use my gun..." Said sarcastically, waiting for a retort from Raven about his lack of aim. "I can help with any tech, computer or mechanical stuff that needs fixing." It a sober tone.

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene nodded at Raven and aimed to do the same when it came to building a relationship with the Salky Raiders. It was a plus that they had a previous history fighting the Imperials but they should address one problem at a time before roping them for another. First, they had to even a score and then everything else was a bonus afterwards.

"So, what do you all do to keep cool around here...?" She asked no particular Raider as an icebreaker.

"That's why you're all grouped up, isn't it?" Varina asked, still sour. "Sure my mom loves to get all your guys' help all the time." She turned a bit red, looking at everyone and then the one next to her. "Uh, does everyone know the Valkyrie is my mom or did that go completely unexplained?"

She spat out a bit of blood and wiped her lips. "Valkyrie is a stupid nickname."
