"It makes more sense when you see what she can do.." she says, but her voice trails as she reminds herself of the nature of the topic. "But, yea- we kinda figured it out. You've got a resemblance," she brought her hand over her helmet as if to indicate her face, it probably didn't transfer over quite as well.

"Wanna come with me? We got some supplies you can use to patch up if you need, and-" she raises both hands, palms out, "I'll even let you do it all yourself," she says, the smirk coming through on her tone.

Raven scowled. She was about to exuse herself, to correct Varina on her stupid actions and the consequences they would have had. Ultimately, it had made her very disappointed. Varina was clearly still a child, and she could no longer rely on her to step up to the tasks required if she would act like this.

But that would have to come later.

For now, she squelched it and focused on the others, face returning to its stoic nature. "You spoke of wounded and injured members of your group. Some of us have some skill to help out, if need be, while we chat further."

"I did, but we have it well in control. Warriors just need time to rest and recuperate after the blood was shed. Your willingness to help is appreciated, and I'll be sure they learn of it," he says with a hard smile. "Though.." he looks to Claymore, "there are some things that could use a looking at if you're willing. Plenty of folk around here that would be happy for the help."

[Claymore may use the remainder of the timeslot checking around and helping those he can with his mechanical expertise, a Mechanics Check vs Simple will give a good gauge on how much he's able to accomplish.]

Clay pulled him tool kit out and got is work to help people with mechanical things around the base.

After he finished up, he looked at Raven and said, "See, just because I normal am breaking into and out at secure facilities with the group, doesn't mean that all I know how to do. If they want me to help with anything, like base security, I can come back later."

[Varina Ordo]

At first, Varina definitely balked at the idea of taking handouts. But the less savory side of her found opportunity in tagging along. "Fine," she said. "But I don't owe you anything for it."

On the way over, she'd survey the surroundings for items that could be "repurposed" to her needs. Bonus points if it looked like it belonged to her mom.

"I'm not gonna say you do," she chuckled, and then lead the way. As they walked through the camp Varina had plenty of things to look at, some weapons but also there was a fair bit of loot about from previous raids. With the eye out for her moms things she did catch a glance of her mom walking onto one of the ships here, an assortment of items and goods laid out around the entrance.

Clay finds many within the camp are appreciative for his efforts and before he departs a couple Raiders come up and offer him some credits as payment, not content with leaving a favor lingering.

Varina committed the ship to her memory. She was definitely going to take something, be it a gun or something more valuable. It wasn't exactly about the worth. It was about taking her just dues from her mother.

Walking Varina over toward one of the fighters, not freighters, the warrior with her opened up one of the compartments under the ship. Digging through a bag inside to check it was the right one before lugging it out and setting it down atop a crate. Patting the crate and spot next to it she looked back to Varina expectantly, "Hop up here and we'll take a look."

"Feel sore.. anywhere?"

Varina sat on the crate, willing to be a little obedient as she watched everyone come and go. The trouble would happen later after they'd hopefully forgotten about her... incident. "Nothing a bit of stretching won't help." She scratched the back of her head and then flinched. "Guess that's the worst part." Getting punched had been, well, painful but hitting the back of her skull had left the most impact on her.

Seeing the wince the woman nodded, and then removed her helmet. Revealing the long straight hair of a Chiss, red piercing eyes, but a friendly smile. Setting her helmet aside on the first crate she brought her hand up a little pre-emptively.

"Mind if I touch you?" she says, her hand hovering. "I wanna get a look at that.. just to be sure," she smiles, "never too careful when it comes to the head."

"Eh, go ahead," Varina said, tilting her head over. She definitely was playing the part of someone who was chill. Well, the fact that her mom wasn't in the immediate vicinity probably helped.

[Meiyokashi]

"Go ahead," she repeats, chuckling to herself as she takes a gentle hold on Varina's head. Shifting her to have her look the other way so she can get a better look and brushing through her hair a little to find any potentially dangerous wounds.

"Just a bump," she said, letting her hair back down. Digging through her things she pulls out a pill and a bottle. "Just a little painkiller, time.. and just to be safe a little of this brew one of the other Raiders make, it's good stuff," she said, setting them out for Varina.

[Brew acts as a stimpack for the purposes of healing, painkiller for comfort]
