The Connect

[Meiyokashi]

Sat at one of the tables for a late dinner, helped to it by Talzian himself, Julo currently hangs out alone in the little dining space afforded the guests of the ship. While most of the seating in the area are benches and long tables there are a few open tables for those with different means than others and Julo no counts himself among that group. Working through his food he occasionally says something and then smiles before he returns for another bite or two. Smiling at one direction or another.

Sounds of heavy, heavy, cadanced footsteps could be heard above the ambient noise approaching the room. Soon enough a large helmed, and heavily armed figure could be seen in the door frame.

It then stepped to the side, guarding the entrance.

[Julo]

Julo's chuckle fades naturally shaking his head. Pausing to take another bite he chews thoughtfully for a moment. Noting on J-Richo's entrance and looking over his shoulder, using the arm of the wheelchair for support he flashes an easy smile.

"Heya there big guy, wouldn't you rather take one of these seats? Got plenty," he gives a side-glance toward the greater portion of the room. "Sure know no one else seems to be willing to take up my offer yet," she says, smirks, and then looks back to J-Richo.

The mandalorian is silent for a moment, seemingly considering the offer with odd gravity

''It would depend: standing here assures greater defensive reaction should an hostile come without expectation...'' he began, an even modulated voice coming from his helmet ''...while sitting could promote greater performative conviviality at the expanse of security.''

A pause for consideration

''Which is your preference?''

[Julo]

"Tend to prefer like I'm not a thing and more a person, eh?" he said with a lightness to his tone, giving another one of those easy smiles. Patting the table next to him he gave a nod. "Besides, I'm pretty well protected in this room," he gives another glance into the greater space but seems a little lost, like he lost something, but shakes his head and the thoughts put down.

Looking back he nods again, "There's some benefit in that scenario to be nearer the person you're protectin' hmm?"

The mando looked around at the same time the mirialan did, wondering if he had missed something...a cloaked device? Wall turrets? Translucent force field?

He raised and lowered his shoulders

''Fine''

The mercenary took a seat at the table, precisely the one that had been patted.

''The food is satisfactory?'' he inquired

"Better than what I was eating about a year ago," he said with a dark-humored chuckle. There was a catch toward the end of the chuckle, shaking his head he settled from it and settled in properly again. "You ever been to Bellionas before?" he asked with a quirked brow.

''I have not and I do not have reliable intelligence on the planet.'' he replied, noting the discomfort about the food.

Allergies or a bad experience?

''What do we have on the place? Anything we should be made aware of before landing?''

[Solork Tan]

"Is that?" Sol does a double take as he sees a familiar face. Julo one of Neera's people, if he remembers correctly. He steers his way over there, placing a tray down a few spaces away.

"Master Julo. You run into the most interesting people when you take public transportation." Sol lifts his mask a fraction to sip some broth. "Are you still getting into the sort of action our mutual friend is notorious for?"

[Qar Offee]

Qar came for a drink. He didn't enjoy travelling by vehicles he wasn't driving, but it's not like they'd let him commandeer the ferry. He contemplated it though just as he was entering the canteen. Seeing some people, and a Mirialan among them, he made a wordless greeting. His thoughts moved to the tab, and a chance of having something else than jet juice.

"There-" he pauses as a few others enter the room. Paying an ear toward Sol while a simple half-wave toward Qar. Looking to Sol he nodded, a small smile, "Just meetin' folk, shakin' hands, and kissing babies," he laughed, shaking his head.

"I'm not anyone's master though, so-" he lookeed to Sol with the momentary intent of reaching understanding.

"Now.. Bellionas is an interesting place, so I hear," he returns, addressing the table as a whole. "Formerly a supporter of the confederacy of independent systems they were producing ships for the war effort through their foundry discreetly. Of course, the Jedi learned about this and sent a strike team in to do what they could to peacefully put a stop to this. Unfortunately.." he sighs, "Bellionassians are a proud people and there were many who didn't want to give in to the Republic without putting up a fight. Folk got killed and the Clones occupied the planet to insure the foundry wasn't put to work but also that the vital lifeline for Bellionas wasn't destroyed."

"Which woulda been a real nice gesture after the way if- well, if the Empire didn't take over and then really take over Bellionas. Folk have been at the Empire's mercy a long time and hear tell most folks spirits been broken real bad. We won't have too many friends planetside.. but we got the few folk that we're supposed to connect with who're trying to change that, little by little, so we're gonna do what we can."

The mandalorian turns his head towards the armored figure almost as soon as he enters, wary, but relaxes as soon as it becomes clear that both he and Julo know each other. He then glances at the second mirialan from afar as he listens to the description.

''Long road ahead but an interesting one indeed'' he commented ''Friend of yours?'' he asked indicating Solork

"Isn't "Master" a human prefix for someone used in a greeting?" Soloek shakes his head. "Never mind" He begins to

"Pride kills many. It's a flaw many are guilty of...myself included. It's risky business, opposing the Empire in any way. I suppose that people like that could use some protecting." Sol looms a bit. "And I am used to not having loads of people liking me."

"Of a sort." Sol offers a bit of a chuckle, his voicebox rasping with a bit of synth as he realized he is speaking to another masked figure. "We've run in similar circles at another planet when events began to transpire. And if I don't mistake it, I had a run in with his lover, who was quite a deadly individual. How is Arwen by the way?"

The mando turned towards Julo to see if he was going to add details to that

''Did you bring more of your...party crew...with you on this ship?''

[Solork Tan]

"Well, to be clear, Julo didn't bring me." Sol holds up a finger. "I was headed this way for other reasons and just realized he was here. The Force just seems to have a way of putting interesting people together in strange ways to make an explosive result"

Ugh the Force

''Sounds like jedi talk to me, Solork.'' he crossed his arms ''But sure, coincidences can be odd''

"Got a real strange way of interactin' but.. be careful, hmm? Saying a lotta words that are like to get everyone around you in trouble. After all," he laughs, a bright grin naturally showing. "We're only here to help liven up the spirits of the people here, hmm?" he gives another short smile, a little extra space of letting things settle before continuing. "This ain't exactly the most private of ship and not the most private of locations on it either, hmm?" he gave a nod toward all the empty tables. Certainly, it was true that this was not the standard time for dinner but anyone could walk in at any time.

"Arwen is good though- still a bit broody after everything, little grumpy most of the day," he smiled, looking down a little as he held onto the thought. "But he's in good health and that's what matters most. Anyway," he shook his head. "Business you're here for Sol, what kinda business is it? One I'd rather not hear about or somethin' else?"

"I am told that I am, *ahem* "off putting" at the best of times. I rarely go looking for trouble, it tends to find me, so I have simply adjusted to the necessity that it will a constant companion. I should at least put it to good use"

"As for my business" Sol looks over at the Mando, and then at the mostly empty room. "Some of it, I can't go into detail for purposes of operational security. But part of this might apply to your mission. It would appear that there are things on the planet that are, let us say, significant for those like your brooding compatriot. And those like him."

Or at least he thought he was alone...

"Talks too much that one. He needs to know when to reign it in" a pretty voice said next to the Mirialan "otherwise he'll get himself or others in a lot of trouble."

If Qar was to look to his right, he'd see a pretty blue Twi'lek holding a coffee cup and looking in the direction of the loud armoued Gank with a shake of her head.

"Sorry for disturbing, you were just far enough away from that gaggle for my liking so I decided to join you."
