[Day 5 - Early Evening] The Hutt Job

[Meiyokashi]

As they got into the lobby one of the guards told a few other residents to scram. Leading her some of the way in before stepping out in front of her. "Leave your things here," he said, glancing toward one of the others who walked over and opened a bag.

[Tyllia Demici]

Tyllia chuckled. "Oh please, that is not going to happen."

She then gave a pointed look at the individual with the bag.

"Give us a moment," she said; or rather more like 'ordered' him. Regardless of whether he actually did or not though, she turned back to the operative she'd been talking to.

"Just because your boss and mine share a mutual dislike of the sisters, does not mean I intend to simply walk into the heart of his den unarmed and give him the opportunity to make enemies out of my faction as well."

She cast a suspicious look around the lobby. "I should ask you again. Are you someone of importance in this organization?"

Then looked at him. "Or rather, do you want to be?"

"Say it plain, or don't say it at all," he said, glaring down on her.

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene didn't look surprised (hard to see her expression here) but she was genuinely impressed that this was going to some direction where they were being brought willingly toward their target. It wasn't what they were going for but 50% of a plan was still successful in her books. When asked to surrender her weapons, she almost snickered out loud at the adorable request.

She crossed her arms as she stood with Tyllia and told the goon, "Yeah, I think you'd better rethink your stance there."

[Deonis Harik]

Deonis said nothing from Tyllia's other flank but also made no move to relinquish his sword and merely gave the goon a long silent stare that was somehow imbued with malevolence

"That," she sounded disapproving, "is not the correct tone. But you are right I suppose. Saying it plainly works best, doesn't it? The trouble is, your organization... well, we suspect there are those within your organization who have already been bought by the other side. Your boss probably already suspects as much. That's why he's holed up in that den of his. Just him and his most trusted bodyguards. Which *you* clearly are not."

A small pause.

"But, you *could* be. We want to talk to your boss in a place we know *isn't* bugged all the way from here to Kessel, so we can cut a deal with him without our mutual problem getting in the way. If you help us achieve this, I am sure there will be a place at the table for you after your boss... rearranges his roster."

Another pause.

"That plain enough?"

[Meiyokashi]

"So-" he says, he pulls the blaster from his side, "let me get this straight. You want me to allow you to go up to see my boss, with weapons, and think that by allowing that to happen he'll be grateful?" he laughs, but there's no humor to it. "I might not be very smart- but I'm not that stupid. Not sure how they do it where you're from lady but around here doing stuff like that is how you get yourself shot or worse."

"You don't need weapons to plan, or bodyguards," he glances to the others present, "And you think I'm gonna earn my bosses trust by just lettin' you just walk up there to go see him? Without turning over your weapons? That's some poodoo."

[Tyllia Demici]

She looked down at the blaster for a moment, then back up at him, still putting on that air of 'being in charge'.

"Am I to understand that *you* are the one the Sisters bought and turned to their side?"

She made sure to speak up loud enough so that others might overhear; which should *hopefully* get him to re-think the situation. Let's see how stupid or not stupid he really was.

[Meiyokashi]

He glared down at her, and a lot of the others seemed to make themselves ready too just in case. While they believed most of what she said, letting her up there without being searched was certainly far too much of a stretch on their sensibilities and the goons patience for the display seemed to be wearing thin.

While some of the others further out were a bit uncertain as to what was going on, the few that were nearest had followed the conversation enough to be on the same page.

[Tyllia Demici]

She looked between him and the others, then finally sighed. "Search me then, but not my bodyguards. Mandalorians, you know how they get when you try to take their guns from them."

[Meiyokashi]

"They can wait with the boys," he says, and then gives the indication for her to raise her arms.

[His perception is 1eP + 2eA, this would be opposed by your stealth. If you want to try to conceal anything I'll ask you assemble the roll with any other modifiers you might have toward concealing something.]

[When he searches you, conspicuously, the blade isn't there.]

She would raise her arms with a look of 'Really?' on her face. Any weapons she had on her, however, would be impossible to find thanks to the Force.

[the blade just vanishes without me having to do anything? Well that's *useful*. The only other thing I'd like to conceal is my palm stunner; for which I will use Misdirect for 1DS (+1 conflict), I guess, which should bypass the roll?]

[Soleene Stryss]

"We're just going to stand out here and hang out, huh?" She said as she slowly turned to give everyone here a glance, trying to take into account how many were out here and versus how many could be inside. At the moment, she wasn't sure if this situation was more favourable.

She did look to Tyllia to get a sense if she was fine with this arrangement. "Kind of catching us in a strange spot."

Deonis looked about also looking at their numbers. The plan had gotten them this far. Close up and in an enclosed space where he would have the advantage over the blasters. He remained tense and ready to spring into action pulling the force into himself infusing his muscles.

[Meiyokashi]

Giving her the patdown he removes a few things from her person, but ultimately doesn't find the palm stunner or the blade which took care of itself. Giving a nod, "Follow me," he said gruffly. Looking to the others and giving them a nod.

As he would lead Tyllia toward the elevator the goons around them would stand in the way of the others as Tyllia boarded.

She gave Soleene and Deonis a nod and a look before following along.

Was it the kind of look that said 'it's fine, I'll take care of this'?

Was it the kind of look that said 'stick to the plan'?

Was it the kind of look that said 'this isn't the plan. Fricking *do* something'?

Was it the kind of look that said 'Kriff it, we'll do it live! Improvise.'?

Well, it was up to them to figure out which of those options; if any; was supposed to be the intent behind her look.

If this wasn't the plan, Soleene would have hoped the fighting would have started. She took it as potentially everything else but that, especially after she had stepped into the elevator. At the very least, she took a gander to see how the elevator was operated and if there was a special function to grant access. If things went wrong, they may have to take the same way up.

[Meiyokashi]

It was a simple elevator that was found in most larger apartment complexes like this one. When Tyllia and the hook entered it appeared to operate much the same. Though Soleene could also note on the nearby stairs in the case that anything majorly bad happened.

Looking around, Deonis can mark the one leading Tyllia into the elevator but discounts him as he leaves. Meanwhile two remain in front of them and another three hover around a desk and terminal combination.

For her part, Tyllia had stepped into the elevator with calm professionalism and waited to be taken to the target. She would have to... improvise... somehow.
