"Not all of them," she shrugged, and took her shot. Still applying too much force to the strike of the cue, so it lacked the control needed to push the ball in the right direction.

"One of them, with help from his friends, attacked my partner. I've no intention of letting him get away with that insult alive."

Richo observed the shot with some interest

''So he betrays hospitality and then runs? What a disgrace...what motivated something so dihonorable?''

Richo took his shot but missed this time.

"Beats me. Just not planning on letting him get away with it." While it wasn't quite true, she still had no idea as to the reason why.

Raven grunted a bit, trying to figure out where to place her next shot without messing up again.

"So you're not one of the Raiders, and once a follower of Jaster Mereel? On your own it sounds like."

''An inheritor of his legacy. I never met the man for that was before my time and way before I became mandalorian'' he replied has he observed the table

''My brother, Ceasar, was one of his original followers. He passed down his way to me''

The name was not known to her, but there were many Mandalorians out there in the galaxy.

"You've learned Mando'a well," she remarked, since she noticed he spoke it well enough for someone who didn't grow up with it.

Finally seeing a good angle, Raven took her shot and one of the balls went down, but not before scattering a good deal of the others into less than optimal positions.

"When did you last see others of clan Toboga? Might help with finding where they could be."

He gave a nod at the shot

''Beside Ceasar? None. He and what remained of his clan got separated from each other in the clone wars. He feared being the last one until he adopted me.''

He fixed the table wondering how he would do the shot

''Were you born on Mandalore?''

"Hmmm..." she nodded, trying to think who might best know where to look. Maybe Dredgen, the old wampa.

"No, Concord Dawn. Slightly less exciting world than the heart and home of our people, but... it was a good place, before things went downhill for most of us. Born and raised Mandalorian though."

''Downhill?'' he was curious ''Most would say things had been going downhill for a long time''

She waved a hand. "Death Watch, then the Empire. Not a good time for the people of Concord Dawn." There was a tension to her voice as she spoke, though it didn't mask her dislike of either of the two, particularly the Empire.

Taking her attention from the game for a moment, Raven looked around the bar to see what the clientele was like, or if there was any sign of patrols. Not that they liked coming to these places in the alley though.

''Death Watch'' his voice was akin to a low rumble when he spoke ''People who cares only for the aesthetics of our culture, nothing deeper''

While she disliked the Death Watch, Raven felt it was more than just the aesthetics.

"Seen plenty of mercenaries around the galaxy that claim to be Mandalorian, thinking it will give them more prestige or worth. Will always be someone trying to take advantage of our culture and renown."

''With our people so divided it is easy to do so.'' he kept his visor on the table ''So follow the one who claims the title of Mandal'ore?''

She nodded at first, her visor also on the table curious to see how the game will proceed. "Yes. I believe the worth of his claim."

''What makes you think so?''

[Raven Cadera]

"One thing is that I've not met anyone else who is worthy of making the claim." She took a step away from the pool-table to get more perspective.

"But, compared to others claiming to lead our people... one who kneels to the Empire, and one doing it feeling they have the right to it simply because of family ties to a deceased leader? No, I respect his much more, by putting in the work of reuniting our people and focusing on rebuilding our strength and might. He doesn't campaign for the right to bear the title, he lets his actions speak for his worth."

Reaching for the chalk, she took a moment to apply it to the cue before continuing. "I also judge a man on the enemies he makes, and the allies he keeps. When I see the loathed Clan Saxon and the Empire as his enemies, and some of the finest Mando'ade I have met as his allies, to me it speaks volumes."

Richo did not say anything for a good moment

''Rebuilding how? What is his vision of what the Mando'ade should be?''

It didn't seem like the place to go into a full speech like she knew Mand'alor would do, and she wasn't sure if J-Richo wanted the full rundown of his vision and plans.

Still, she gave the answer that she had been given early on, when she first met with the Rebuilders.

"Mand'alor seeks to restore us to the old ways. That we are warriors who answer to none but our own, and to Mand'alor who is the strongest among us. That we honor the ways of old, the traditions that have made us into the finest warriors this galaxy has known, and continue to follow them, such as the Resol'nare. The Death Watch had the right of it that we are warriors, but they in their actions were misplaced - they sought in vain for glory in combat by attacking opponents who were not even fighting, and ultimately bending the knee to outsiders, casting aside the traditional armor of our people in favor of copying their new overlords."

''The old ways'' he muttered to himself, a bit grim ''Or what we think were the old ways anyway.''

He paused for a moment

''I'll have to see him myself''

Raven considered it, then figured it was probably outside of her authority to make a call on it.

"We'll see..."

Last time they had trusted outsiders to come in, it had not gone well, and she knew she wasn't the right person to ask there for someone to vouch for him. Soleene would probably be the better one for that task.

''We'll see'' he repeated ''But I am unsure a Mandal'ore can reunite our people the same way the mandal'ores of legend did''
