Where everybody knows your name... [D4|EE]

[Tenzing]

It felt a bit much to be going back to Drezzie's so soon, but this was where the Intel had led him. A crowd was gathered, those who had come for happy hour and never left. Plus a few unfamiliar faces. He was looking for one in particular.

It didn't take him too long...

You find an older mercenary, woman and with a large scar following her jawline.

Tenzing walked over and nodded. "Sorry to bother you ma'am. Seems we have friends in common. Mind if I buy you a drink?"

[Meiyokashi]

An older woman, human, with long red hair curled into a shapely pattern gave him a nod, "Haven't heard that in years," she laughed, patting the spot next to her. "Figures it'd come with someone wanting something, come sit and tell me about these friends you're lookin' for. Though- I should warn you I ain't got many friends in this life," she chuckled and shook her head.

[Tenzing]

It was hard not to grin at the response. "Thanks, what's your pleasure?" He placed an order with Drezzie then took the offered seat next to her.

"I'm Tenzing. Nice to meet you." He gave her a slightly apologetic smile. "Yeah, you guessed it. Someone always wants something, right? I used to be a Cop, so I know what that's like. Anyways, I'm looking for a couple of folks. Heard they're with a group called the Salky Raiders."

[Meiyokashi]

"Anything that'll kick me in the rear," she said with a smirk. Settling a little into her seat, "Salky Raiders eh?" she gave him a look over, "Sheesh kid, you're lookin' for a hive of hornets lookin' after that lot," she shook her head, watching Drezzie as he moved off to get them some drinks.

"Afraid I don't know any of them too personally but- had a run in or two with them 'boutta year or so back. Have a few friends who might even be a bit closer but- they ain't a group that hangs around one place too long, not without reason. What're or who're you lookin' to know?"

[Tenzing]

He couldn't help but return the smirk.

"Heh, yeah that sounds about right. Hornets are less likely to shoot you though." With a little chuckle he nodded when the drinks appeared. "Drezzie never disappoints."

Weighing up his options he decided to just go straight in. "Couple of folks got my interest actually. You ever run into Carid? Or Ketsu?"

[Meiyokashi]

"Carid.." she brought a hand up to her facial scar, dragging a finger along it, "gave me this last we met. Course.. they completed their contract before he finished the job so- he left it at that. Shamed as I am to admit it.. was the first day I actually started to consider retiring but.." she smirked, armor still being worn underneath a heavy jacket hinting that she hasn't actually retired yet.

[Tenzing]

"No way! So the guy's got a real thing for blades huh?" Nodding he took a sip of his drink. It was smooth but potent.

"Retirement." The memory of being called into the new boss's office brought a moment of reflection. "Don't think it suits either of us. I'll remember to dust off my protection before I go looking for them though." He flashed a smile.

"So Carid gave you a cool scar. You ever meet Ketsu?"

[Meiyokashi]

"Nasty ones too," she grinned. "This Ketsu though.. maybe, not that I knew her by name. Carid at the time was a front-runner of their outfit even back then. Had himself a little following of hanger-ons that probably even got more loyal over the years," she shrugged, and took a deep drink from her glass.

[Tenzing]

"How's the kick on that?" He grinned as she drank deeply. "Hmm. So this Carid guy has a blade fetish and a gang. They've been pretty successful though, right? So maybe more to them than just muscle?" He sipped his own drink more lightly.

"Who's the other leader of the Raiders? Any idea? Thinkni heard there were two." He gave a general description of Ketsu, although noting it was from when he met her many years ago. "Sound familiar?"

[Meiyokashi]

"Carid's a piece of work- yea, likes his blades but he's got his own code. Most of the Raiders do, only way they manage to work together without tearing one another apart. Cause, you see, the Salky Raiders don't follow any one person- they don't have a leader, but Carid and the Valkyrie? They're some of the most respected fighters they've got and so the others tend to follow their suggestion," she says, taking a long drink from her glass.

"Ketsu ain't someone I know- ask me, she might just be one of them that follow Carid. From what you say she sounds vicious and Carid likes vicious," she smirks.

[Tenzing]

That gave him plenty to think about so he nodded and sipped the drink. After a while he asked: "So the Valkyrie is the other main leader, well, what passes for one. Can you tell me anything? Better or worse than Carid? Do they get along?"

Maybe there was an angle. He smirked. "Or we can talk about other stuff if you've had enough of Mandalorians."

[Meiyokashi]

"Get along well enough best I know- different personalities, clash from time to time but you wouldn't have two different people fighters are lookin' to if they got along or agreed on too much. So.. whether she's better or not depends on how your way of lookin' at the world aligns with hers," she shrugs.

"Woman's a fighter in her very bones though, from what I hear. Earned that title well," she confirms with a smirk. Reading Tenzing for a moment, "What else you got on your mind kid? Got a lifes worth of professional killin' under the belt. Comes with all sorts of stories and as long as you're buying.." she smirks, raises her glass, "I'm talkin'."

[Tenzing]

"Fair enough, that makes sense. Not that I'd know much about mercenary crew's but it sounds reasonable." He smiled and raised his glass to her before taking another sip.

"Alright, I'm curious. You ever run into anyone...like me? Been a long time since I saw a brother. I know some of 'em stuck with the Empire, but a lot of us didn't want anything to do with it." He gestured vaguely. "Maybe you've met some."

[Meiyokashi]

"After the war?" she shook her head, "Sorry kid. Run into your type plenty before, some good some bad, but nothing after.. honest though.." she puts her hand on his shoulder, giving a broad grin, "seeing as you're here.. glad you got out."

[Tenzing]

He nodded, as if he knew the answer would be something like that. Looking at the glass it was nearly empty. "Well, thanks. Me too. You game for another? Maybe you've got a fun story or two to go with it. Hell, maybe you need some help with something from a friendly PI?" He grinned and waved to Drezzie.

[Meiyokashi]

"Always game for another," she smiles, and glances to Drezzie as Tenzing does. Acknowledging the wave he gets onto the drinks while he and the woman share a brief glance and another wave. Looking back to Tenzing, "Nothing for myself.. but what type of work do you do?" she stops him with a raised palm, "I know PI, but- what do you normally investigate?"

[Tenzing]

Tens smiled and looked around the bar. "These days? Mostly missing persons. I've tracked down wayward kids, malfunctioning droids, debtors, and folks who bit off more than they could chew. Occasional bounties, but only on folks who deserved it." A small laugh followed. "Aaaand I've also helped folks disappear. Got a few families off world when they pissed off the wrong Imp."

When the drinks arrived he thanked Drezzie and took a sip. "I also help people find things that have been stolen. I made a lot of contacts in my law enforcement days. Now I help honest citizens get their prized possessions back from no good thieves."

He placed a hand over his heart. "Solid gold right here."

[Meiyokashi]

"I would say," she offered a bark of a laugh. "Still.. everyone's gotta make a few credits so.. yea, if I hear somethin' that might interest you I'll send you something along the link," she says, looking to him and offering her hand, "even shake on it to seal the promise," she smiled.

[Tenzing]

"Thanks, I'd appreciate that. Yeah, got to pay the bills." He happily offered his hand and shook. "You know you never did tell me your name. Should I type Mysterious Stranger into my comm?"

[Meiyokashi]

"You know- I was about to give it to ya, but.. no, I think I like that. Mysterious Stranger it is," she smiled with that old-mercs charm.
