What point was there in coming back this way now that she had gotten her prize? What point in talking to old men who knew nothing at all? In looking over mud-covered dwellings? There was no point; no meaning. And yet she was compelled. *Something* had brought her passenger here all those millenia ago, and she could not help but feel the threads had not yet all been pulled apart.

And so she walked back; not into the deepest parts of the swamp. Not for now, at least; but into the small settlement she had visited once before.

This time she was not searching for a local; nor walking around with any real sense of purpose. She was allowing her eyes, mind, and feet, each to wander as they might.

After completing(?) her current investigation of force visions, Sholua had this strange feeling her reasons for being at the farm were not so complete. Why she had this feeling she needed to stay longer, she had no idea, but she was starting to pay a whole lot more attention to what the Force was telling her. So she stayed.

Some time later found her sitting on a rock cross legged. She wasn't meditating really, more . . . waiting.

She wandered from the center; such as it was; of the settlement, to its edges. When she stumbled upon her. The woman from Manny's ship. The one whose fighting stance she'd recognized as that belonging to one of the lightsaber forms. With that tense little button pressing talk after the movie. She couldn't say she hadn't been curious at the time. Nor could she deny such a thing now.

She approached; a slow and steady walk. As she wasn't meditating, Sholua would certainly see her coming; clad in black cloaked robes that now perhaps seemed not unlike those sometimes worn by the Jedi; worn over more regular clothing.

Sholua did see her coming, and things fell into place in her head.

"Black. Very fashionable. Slimming even. Not what I would have chosen."

If she was surprised that there was no surprise at her presence here, Tyllia didn't show it. This had not been her purpose in coming here, but they both seemed to understand the Force worked in mysterious ways.

Indeed, the black was very fashionable.

Perhaps less fashionable was the undeniable lightsaber at her side. It likely did not look like any Jedi lightsaber, certainly not a modern one. It looked ancient; the material it was made from weathered from age. It had been cleaned recently though, and while it was impossible to tell at just a glance of course, it seemed as if it might function.

"You were... Sholua, right?"

[Sholua Tempes]

"Yes, and you're Tyllia."

She looked coolly at the saber.

"So, that's how you know a Form IV stance, neh?"

[Tyllia Demici]

She followed the gaze for a moment, then looked back at the woman. There seemed to be a sense of hostility; or was it paranoia? Or maybe it was just resentment over interrupting her fawning over Manny. She didn't know.

"I was trained to the extent that I can recognize such things," she said, then looked off toward the direction of the deep swamp. "I am not an inquisitor, if that's what you're concerned about."

[Sholua Tempes]

"Trained, neh? By whom? And don't think just saying you're not an Inquisitor means you aren't one. Few people know what they are after all."

No lightsaber apparent on the Mirialan woman. She did have a very old sword though.

She gave the woman a sideways look. "Someone so cautious should know better than to ask a question like that so soon in the conversation. And you then? Jedi? No, perhaps not. For a Jedi you seem... overly fond... of forming attachments. Or is it the Jedi way to toy with foolish young boys you do not even care for in the end?"

[Sholua Tempes]

She didn't answer the question, not directly, instead pointing at the saber again.

"I had one of those once. Lost it . . . ten years ago."

[Tyllia Demici]

"Yes, I suspect that is a common tale among those that survived the purging of the Jedi."

[Sholua Tempes]

"Until a couple of weeks ago I didn't know anyone had survived it . . . "

She smiled.

"Seems that wasn't right though. You . . . . however, don't look old enough to be one of those."

[Tyllia Demici]

"I was still in training when the war ended," she said.

It was the truth; though of course it neglected to mention what side she was on. Then again, most people; even most Jedi presumably; had no idea there were lightsaber wielding people on *both* sides of the war.

[Sholua Tempes]

A nod, still sitting on the rock and looking absolutely calm now.

"I guess I was as well. Just as one more suited to action, my training was out here in the warzone. Cutting up the clankers."

[Tyllia Demici]

Of course. She nodded. Jedi indeed; why else react that way to a B1? Still, not Jedi *now*, perhaps.

"And now you are. In the swamp. I did not think there were battles here, in the middle of nowhere. The shipyards maybe. There is a darkness here, though. Is that why you came?"

[Sholua Tempes]

"There is, but not right here."

She took a breath. The air wasn't clear, but not as swampy as the outright bogs.

"I actually followed a strand of light to here."

[Tyllia Demici]

"There is a darkness here," she repeated, "and over there." she nodded toward the deeper swamp.

"But I am curious about this strand of light you mentioned."

[Sholua Tempes]

"It won't be found just by looking. Only by communing with the Force can it be seen."

Well she sounded like a Jedi there.

[Tyllia Demici]

"Hmmm," there was a hint of skepticism in there maybe. "That doesn't really tell me anything. The Force flows differently for different people. What you have seen I can not, I can only ask you to share what you have."

[Sholua Tempes]

She nodded.

"A long life lived in solitude. Here or very close to here. Accompanied by a white . . . . I think animal. The light was the companion. I am wondering if it is still around."
