He tries for the five but doesn't make the shot. "Ahh before this I was drunk, and before that I was bagging bounties with a Mando captain. I just drifted here in search of more mischief."

"Thanks," she says as he walks off. Nelk turns to the relaxing sound of the pool table and catches Torr's eye as she nods and gives a friendly wave.

Looks like Torr is making friends, she thought. Good, we could always use more friends. The man he was playing looked friendly enough, and she had overheard him being helpful in educating Torr on the game, though Torr likely knew what he was doing all along.

Given a minute, maybe two, Drezzie came out from the back chatting with the tender Nelk had sent to find him. Drezzie was an older man who had all the vestiges of a past life as a smuggler in the apparel worn. Finishing up their chat Drezzie turned from the tender and leaned into the counter, "I hear I'm being looked for!" he said with a jovial tone and broad smile.

"What do I owe the pleasure?"

Given a minute, maybe two, Drezzie came out from the back chatting with the tender Nelk had sent to find him. Drezzie was an older man who had all the vestiges of a past life as a smuggler in the apparel worn. Finishing up their chat Drezzie turned from the tender and leaned into the counter, "I hear I'm being looked for!" he said with a jovial tone and broad smile.

"What do I owe the pleasure?"

"Ah, Drezzie, it is my pleasure to meet you," She smiles. "My name is Nelk, and I just wanted to let you know I've been enjoying your fine establishment here the last few days and I like to know the people in charge at my regular haunts. I'm hoping we can start a friendly relationship, perhaps a mutually beneficial one at that. I'm new in town, and always eager to make a few credits and earn a few favors. I've been working with that Farghoul over there, Torr Po," she gestures to the pool table, "we make an efficient team, already bagged a bounty just the other day. So if there's ever anything you need done, we may be your guys. We wouldn't even be above clearing out a gizka infestation, though our skills would be under utilized."

Nelk looks Drezzie up and down, and concludes he's not afraid to break a few rules to make a few credits, so she assumed. "Sometimes an opportunity knocks that requires work off the books. The great thing about getting our hands dirty, is you get to keep yours clean." She smiles wide, her sharp fangs prominent.

"I am flattered, honestly, but there's a bit of a problem. I've given my fair share of speeches like that but I'm long out of the game. Have a granddaughter now who's lookin' for me to spoil her rotten as she gets older," he smiles, and leans back off the counter. "Just a reputable establishment now, a good bar with company and drinks. Need a hand when you're in town and there might be someone here."

"Lookin' for work though.. there's not many places these days. Word on the street is that the Wraith Sisters have been moving in and taking most of it over. Ask me.. they're probably the ones to go to for work- but, be careful.. alright? Wraith Sisters are connected, way up and rising. Hutt Cartel," he adds on the down low.

With his own attempt, Jaxom succeeded only in sending the cue down to the other end of the table.

"Well it seems like there's a fair amount of mischief to find here." he paused to give Drizzie a wave. ""Plenty of opportunities to get drunk, too."

"Well... that was unfortunate." Torr lamented the missed shot. Knowing that now Jaxom was positioned perfectly to close out the round. "And yes you are right, in fact the mischief is just ramping up it would seem. Against my favorite marks no less."

Nelk was watching the pool game when she saw the Human wave down Drezzie.

"Let me buy a round for Torr and his new friend, and myself. Airag all around."

The shot seemed perfect, but he had used to soft of a strike.

"Ohhh?" Torr grinned, "Hmph, maybe birds of a feather find work together, yes?"

"I'll be sure to do so," he chuckles warmly. Though his expression grew a touch concerned at returning to the thought of the Sisters, an older man with a heart. Yet, he had his own history and so, "Word on the street is that they have taken interest in the old ruin where Madame Saphs' once was. Seems they're bringing new life into the place. Could be that you'll find them there?"

Giving a wave to Jaxom he nods to Nelk, "Drinks then, drinks all around," he smiles, patting the counter and turning to get to work on those drinks.

Alas he nailed the five but the 6 stopped short of the hole.

"Ohhh?" Torr grinned, "Hmph, maybe birds of a feather find work together, yes?"

The six bounced out of the corner, but knocked the seven in. Leaving just two balls left for Torr.

"It's always good to make new friends." he nodded.

"Indeed, there are many bounties no doubt. Though it would seem that my colleague has a line on some work." Torr indicates towards Nelk whose face was brimming with self-satisfaction.

Nelk overhears the man say this as she walks over with their drinks. "I've actually just been discussing these sisters with Drezzie. Seems I may have found us a lead Torr, wouldn't hurt to have some backup. Who's your friend?" She nods and smile at Jaxom as she hands him a steamy cup of airag.

"A fellow scholar and rogue, Jaxom Ursae. Newly returned to town it seems. Now tell us Nelk what is the play?"

Torr nails the next shot but misses the 9 Ball. "Gah, so close."

"A pleasure, Jaxsom, I am known as Nelk," she hands Torr his airag and takes a deep breath and a deep swig before relaying her lead. "Well gentlemen, it looks like these sisters have set up shop at the old madam's place. Drezzie cautioned that their ladder leads to the hutts. Which could cause some difficulties for us and not just the obvious. I may or may not have offended a hutt before arriving here. From the sound of it, I doubt it'll come up, but I felt like honesty was the best policy here, especially if our new friend tags along. I wouldn't want the two of you to be put in an uncomfortable situation. I understand if you want to back out of this job, but I'm all in. It may prove beneficial to get on the Wraith Sisters' good side, having unusual allies is never not valuable."

Torr takes a swig of the frothy milk and grins.
"My favorite! Generally in my experience only nomads or humans wild at heart go in for this stuff. So we won't feel offended if its not your brew of choice friend."
Torr says to Jaxom. Leaning back he thinks on what Nelk says then shrugs. Quietly saying, "Myself, I prefer working with the rebel criminals, but Hutt criminals I can work with as well. At least with the Hutt, loyalty is to the highest bidder, or the clearest winner. A little illusion here and a trick or two there and we could very easily utilize them to the fullest."

He sinks the nine, then takes his drink as he listens to the proposal.

"I came back to help the locals with a few things. That includes acquiring resources. It seems that these sisters and their people have replaced many of the contacts I once had, so I'm willing to deal with them."

"Excellent! What time works best for you? Torr and I can go either late afternoon or early evening today, mostly open tomorrow if you're all booked up. Do you like the drink?" (its frothy milk and gin)

"The drink is excellent." he smiled. "I have a few things to do today. There's something I need to check on tomorrow afternoon, but the rest of tomorrow should be free."
