[Day 5 - Early Evening] The Hutt Job

Accompanied by a a large tough looking Wookie the Gand came forward and found himself a chair, sitting in it and then turning with it to face Tyllia.

"Why do you seek Gand?" came the speech of the Gand, a language that was difficult to follow as it wasn't alike many vocal speech but more akin to a droid in some respects with clicks being a common means.

"As I was telling your," she cast a glance in the direction of the one that had brought her here, "potentially compromised hire, I represent interests within the cartel that are not well-disposed toward those whom the Wraith sisters hold their allegiance to. So, when word reached us of your disagreement with them, we thought... we should reach out."

There was a small pause to allow him to process what she had said before she added; "I would like to go into greater detail, but we have reason to suspect the sisters have already infiltrated your organization. Possibly even surveilance devices that would evade your security sweeps. This is not a secure place."

She seemed totally on the level.

"We speak- not today," the gand motions for one of his bodyguards to approach. The man leaning down and viewing a small datapad the gand brought up in front of themselves and began communicating silently through this method. With that the bodyguard nods and walks over to Tyllia, "Thanks.. I haven't gotten to have fun in a while," he smiles, and with the distraction pulled his blaster and shot the guard who brought her in one- two- and then countless more times in the chest.

As the body was thrust against the back wall it slumped to the ground in a heap. As the corpse lay there smoking the bodyguard gave a nod to one of the others and the two left the room together.

"Gand thanks you for your aid and looks forward to speaking more once room has been swept clean," the gand seemed, best she could tell, pretty happy about this new information brought to them.

She looked at the display of violence impassively, then at the corpse being dragged out by the other guards.

"I can see you are a smart man indeed," she said with a smile, then extended her hand toward him. "May this be the start of good things for the both of us."

Down the hall more blaster fire can be heard as the guards outside the elevator are also executed. Down below, by Soleene and Deonis the sound comes through the shaft and drifts to quiet.

The gand looks to her curiously, "Gand thanks you, and looks forward to dealings.."

She maintained the extended hand, even as she heard the blaster shots outside. This gand certainly didn't take half-measures.

"Among humans it is considered the civil way to shake hands when dealing amicably with others. I believe it originated as a way of showing neither side holds any weapons, but has since evolved into a matter of etiquette and honor."

[Meiyokashi]

"Humans.. strange.." the gank gave a nod toward one of its bodyguards and then approached Tyllia, extending a hand and shaking on the satisfactory dealing.

"Indeed, quite strange," she said as she gripped his hand.

Which is when the palm-stunner activated, sending a high voltage jolt of energy through the Gand's body; *hopefully* knocking him unconscious. The move; which in *any* culture would be known as a 'dick move'; was shockingly unexpected.

Merr-Sonn Model 31 Palm Stunner: Stunning an unaware target requires a skulduggery vs resilience check. Success automatically incapacitates a minion or deals 12 damage to strain threshold. Each success rolled increases damage by 1.

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene perked up at the sound of blaster fire. While she hadn't had too many dealings with Gand before, she was sure that it wasn't customary to do business with blaster fire. With the goons clearing out, she made her way to the elevator panel to summon the elevator down before getting on herself to meet Tyllia to see whatever was happening up there. She assumed that Deonis would do the same with her.

Taking Tyllia in hand the gand barely had time to register what was happening before the shock- and then they dropped to the ground. With the gand sliding backwards after the shock, his hand still firmly held by Tyllia, a few rings he'd worn on his fingers fell into her hands as he fell to the ground.

However... everyone else in the room disliked that.

Deonis rolled his neck and hefted the large sword on his shoulder easily, visor straight ahead waiting for the doors to open "Ready?" he asked Soleene and she might swear that there was a little hint of excitement in the voice

As soon as the unconscious form of the gank falls the two enforcers to Tyllia's back immediately jump into action with a surprised rage. One more so as it draws it's blade and viciously attacks. Though she dodges the first slash the enforcer yells as he gets a hold of her for a moment and jabs the blade into her side, drawing blood.

Cursing herself for getting overly eager to the point of not seeing what was around her, Tyllia immediately spun around and back up out of the room as far as she can while holding up her hands.

"Woaw! Woaw! Easy! The guy just collapsed! I don't know what happened, but he wasn't acting normal to begin with right, just straight up starting a killing spree on you guys like that?"
