The good doctor pulls a variety of absolutely terrifying looking medical tools from her pack and cuts into the rathtar for the choicest tissue and organ samples like this was a perfectly ordinary afternoon activity.

The Doctor manages to successful perform a organ harvesting proceedure on the Rathar who you all killed, pulling out what with closer examination, could best be described as a phallus and testicles.

The poking, prodding, and cutting go on for quite some time, with the odd, 'press here,' or, 'pull there.'

"I assure you, if taking the corpse whole were an option, we would do it; I've never even heard of someone getting a specimen this perfect. There's just no way. But if you want something saleable..." it visibly pained the twi'lek to say that, but for the moment she'd play along. "...take teeth. There are more valuable parts, but finding a buyer would be more difficult."

After the task was done, "There will be questions about where I got this. I'm assuming no one cares about academic credit. Would, 'unnamed Mandalorian hunting party,' be fine with everyone as my official answer?"

She shrugged. "So, this is what you came out here for, really? I thought we were here to figure out what this Imperial scientist wanted out here?"

"Well, then, Mr. Toboga, you will be named in my paper for your accomplishment." Hopefully any blowback would not be too severe.

"We shall call this Plan C, miss Demici. I originally planned to search for signs of harvesting and collect my own plant samples, but this?" she holds up a canister of disgusting goo. "Rathtars are generally considered carnivorous, but it's more apt to call them indiscriminate omnivores. These stomach pumpings contain a vast amount of information about this ecosystem- flora, fauna, soil- and therefore a strong chance of telling me what they are looking for. And, failing that? The Empire has been aggressively classifying everything related to this portion of the swamp. By publishing my findings, I should be able to get them to come to me. At which point I need only convince them I am more useful as an asset than a corpse to have an in on whatever the project is."

She looked briefly at Deonis. Presumably they both had *some* inkling as to what the Empire might be interested in out here. Tyllia, at least, didn't think it was purely a matter of looking at local plants and animals. There was a reason why *this* place specifically.

"There are many dangerous things out here that should not exist in this place," she said, "I expect that Novar wants to study why that is. Perhaps so that the Empire can replicate the cause. Perhaps so they can control it."

''Swamps are odd places for scavengers'' quirped the mando as he turned his visor towards Tyllia ''Care to elaborate?''

She wasn't sure he was talking about her elaborating on her being a 'scavenger', or what she was saying about Novar. The latter though, seemed like a safer choice of conversation for now. It involved less admitting to past deceptions, after all.

"The Force has grown strong in this place. Touching upon everything here. Affecting them. And perhaps altering them as well. I doubt the empire cares about science for the sake of science. If it has invested resources into this, then they expect a return on their investment. Something they can use to spread their control and influence across the galaxy."

''I see'' he glanced between the other armor and the doc before going still ''So...no one will question the appearance of a red lightsaber?'' he looked again ''Okay''

"Would you believe me if I said I scavenged it off a Gonk?" She quipped; or at least it sounded like a quip. "I'm not sure what I can say. I did not intend for anyone to see it. These creatures defied my expectations though, and I made a decision. I hope I was not wrong. I hope you don't intend to mention this to anyone who might tell the wrong people."

"Indeed. Should I come across an inquisitor, I shall be sure to give you a call. But until then, I believe it is time to move. While I would love to learn what else lurks in these shadows, I think it best to err on the side of safety.
