[Petra]

"Yea- she's my friend," she says, crossing her arms. Looking off toward Mylar and Jaxom, that little reminder she'd forgotten something just adding to her frustration a little. Replaying the gesture in her mind, it all caught up, "So.." she looks to him, bringing her hands up, "you want me to help you get with my friend? Because you- so you- and you're using this?" she gestures to the room, "This is what you're holding against it?"

She sat up, flared, "Want my advice? Get your priorities out of your own ego. Then? I dunno- figure yourself out."

[Mylar]

"No, I was just looking at it." he shook his head. "Petra dug it out of these boxes. Are you working on a speeder?"

"Nah.. needed something to prop up one of the desks back by the station," he held out his hand, chuckling. "This would.. actually do pretty amazingly."

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Well, at least it can serve a purpose." he chuckled. "There's a lot of stuff here. Was it always here, or has it been collected purposefully?"

[Korvin Hikarrin]

"Yea- she's my friend," she says, crossing her arms. Looking off toward Mylar and Jaxom, that little reminder she'd forgotten something just adding to her frustration a little. "Wait a minute, I'm..." Korvin starts to protest, feeling attacked when he was being vulnerable and honest. Unfortunately, the frustration doesn't help any clearer thoughts form into words.

"Like, I'm already with her, ok?" He says louder than he normally would. "I'm not... like over here crying for help," he says indignantly. "Just... I'm trying to make sense of some stuff! And I want that to include her. I mean..." Korvin now trails off looking like he doesn't even know what he's saying.

[Mylar]

"Most of it's already been about but some of it's been collected with a purpose, just in case it was something we need," he says while he gives the part another little look over, a brief smile. "Think I had a thought about restoring one of these once but.." he shook his head, "way things have been, they've been a bit too hectic," he says, but glances over when he hears Petra's voice raise a bit.

[Petra]

Steadying herself on one of the chairs arms she leaned in, "Really? Just trying to make sense of some stuff? In case you hadn't realized there's more going on in the galaxy than just you," her other hand comes up, pointing the finger at him. Standing as she did to look down at him, "Meet a pretty girl what.. a week? Two weeks ago? Decided you'd help out here about then too- seems that's not important though. Maybe you just wanna get close so you can hurt her when you go. Kriff that," she looks away from him, crossing her arms.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Most of it's already been about but some of it's been collected with a purpose, just in case it was something we need," he says while he gives the part another little look over, a brief smile. Jaxom gaze shifted to the other two as well for a moment.

"Yeah, there never seems to be enough time." he said. "All we can do is prioritize."

And for you, since all you care about is this operation, get it straight: I'm here because I chose to be. My dad heard about your effort, and where's he? But I'm here. It's just a lot all happening at once, ok?" Korvin's eyes are big with frustration and the scale of things happening in his life.

Jaxom gaze shifted to the other two as well for a moment.

"Yeah, there never seems to be enough time." he said. "All we can do is prioritize."

"Do the best we can.." Mylar said, his attention clearly drifting by the sound of his voice as he looked over toward Petra and Korvin as both their voices were raised now. Near-thoughtlessly leaving Jaxoms side as he walked over a few steps toward them, looking to Petra.

[Petra]

"Hey!" Korvin yells, truly offended by the idea he'd leave Dhel. "I would never do that to her! And for you, since all you care about is this operation, get it straight: I'm here because I chose to be. My dad heard about your effort, and where's he? But I'm here. It's just a lot all happening at once, ok?" Korvin's eyes are big with frustration and the scale of things happening in his life.

"Hey- newsflash! Pretending to care about something your father doesn't, doesn't make you a better person! Bet half the reason you're even here is you're hoping to get something out of it, ain't it? Friends? Maybe a pat on the back? Sorry, doesn't happen, not in the world everyone else on Bellionas has to live in," she felt the boiling up, screaming a little between her teeth. Turning away from Korvin she caught a look at Mylar, looking to her with that expression of his. Probably going to come over here and figure out some way to calm her down, kriff that.

"Kriff this," she said, voice deflated. Walking off she didn't let any call for her attention to stop her as she stomped away, her pace quickening the further she got away until it grew into a run, running out the nearest exit.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Kid, wait!" Jaxom called out as he also moved closer, but Petra clearly wasn't stopping.

[Korvin Hikarrin]

Korvin's still angry himself, but as he turns to Jaxom and Mylar, it's clear he feels guilty for setting her off.

"Damn it," he groans as he rises from the couch. He closes his eyes and runs both hands over his face and into his hair. "Well, how bad did that sound to you all," he asks the other men. Korvin's eyes are still closed and his hands are laced behind his head, a bit like he's facing a firing squad.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"It didn't sound good." he sighed. "I've been in your shoes. I still am with many people on Bellionas. Our actions will say more for us than we can."

[Mylar]

"Petra's.." Mylar says, watching her storm off and lingering his gaze by the exit for the moment. Sighing he looks to Korvin and Jaxom, "She's had a rough time, been.. ever since her parents passed she's wanted to see progress for the people.. our situation here. She's got plenty reason to be angry at the world but, not right for her to take it out on you."

Walking over to Korvin he puts his hands in his pockets, speaking with an easy tone, leveling with him, "But, she's also not completely wrong. Most of the folk in the Upper City don't care about people down here- and don't even think about people down in the Lower City. And you've.. still got a lot of that on you. Probably right on a couple points," he looks to Jaxom, "but as the man says, actions do best."

[Jaxom Ursae]

"I know the stigma the Ursae name carries." he nodded. "That's why I've kept a little distance. And, I'm probably going to widen that distance, as I'm going to reach out to my father."

[Korvin Hikarrin]

Korvin nods grudgingly at Mylar's explanation, knowing he's right.

At Jaxom's mention of his dad, Korvin looks up in surprise. "You're, uh... That's kind of a big deal," he understates the obvious, not sure what else to say. "But, we gotta do what we gotta do, right?" The young man musters up an encouraging half smile.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Yep." he nodded. "Sometimes that's all we can do."

[Korvin Hikarrin]

Korvin nods agreeably, then frowns.

"Thought I was doing what I needed to in talking to Petra. That was... Not a good call. So hopefully your stuff goes better than that," he says with a grim smile.

[Mylar]

"If you need anything Jaxom.. let us know, 'lright? Nothin' else I've got your back if I can," he looks up, gives him a muted smile.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"It's appreciated, but if this goes bad I don't want to bring anything down on all of you." he said. "Best if I stay away until it's done. I just came by to make sure you guys were aware."
