[Jarvis]

"Sounds like you'll take good care of it." He says with a large smile, followed by a laugh for a few moments before getting a more serious look, lowering his voice as he turned his head back to Manny.
"...you damn well better."

Jarvis leans back into his chair and continues his questioning.. "So, safe to assuming these Mandalorians that you have a beef with wouldn't lie to you?"

[Manny Donos]

Manny looked at Nara and then back at Jarvis. "Well... thanks, Jarvis. Yeah. I'll take the contact info." He said, frowning. "Maybe we'll look into that.

He shook his head. "I don't get it, though. Not killing us because it wasn't their job, fine. Not killing us when it was their job... I mean, they recognized me, but we weren't friends, and I feel like these guys have probably stabbed at least three of their friends anyway." He winced. "Maybe... she really does like me." Based on the look on his face, this was not an appealing prospect.

He shrugged. "They might lie. Why?"

[Jarvis]

"Just trying to figure if being told it was a Imperial job had any real weight to it, is all. Could be messing with you, if they have it out for you. Get you killed looking into Imperial business where none exists.."

Jarvis shakes his head again. "Bah! Doesn't matter, credits were paid."

[Sholua Tempes]

Sholua had been quiet, following on the conversation and nodding at the appropriate moments.

"The place the doc was from, the Outreach Centre. It's run by Imperials yes? Why go to such lengths to kill someone they could have just 'disappeared' like they normally do?"

[Jarvis]

"Well, if you want to figure it out, feel free. Just don't be stupid, is all." Jarvis says, reaching into his coat and fumbling around for a small datapad, then places it on the table. "It would have to be that the Gonk were protecting him from the Imperials, Sholua. Though, in order for that to be correct, he would know that he was in danger he was leaving, might have fought or thrown a fit. Would have to know that his leaving would make him dead." Jarvis begins to fumble around his coat pocket for a few moments and pulls out a datapad.

"Though that does sounds like the Imperial connection, Sholua . Also his wife. Nost...zew...ogii? Noszewii?" He looks over at Nara to see if he pronounced it correct before continuing. "Also works for that place. So, Imp involvement is quite possible. If you do look into it further, let me know how I can help. It's not that I have a problem with such a job, but I don't like the deception on this one; not one bit."

Jarvis smiles and sighs. "What a headache this has turned out to be."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"There was a reason behind it, some kind of message was being sent." Jyrvess rubbed the back of her neck, "The real question is who was it for? I assume the intended recipient understood the meaning."

"Or...maybe they don't and this was a deliberate operation to stir up the Gonks for some reason we are not yet aware of." Jyrvess leaned back, "ISB does stupid stuff all the time...and ImpIntel has been known to do inscrutable acts as part of some larger psychological operation. This could be part of some larger plan."

[Jarvis]

He turned to the perceived expert on these matters and nodded. "You would be the best chance any of you have to figuring all of this out." Jarvis looked at Jyrvess and smiled. "Can't say I haven't been offered similar jobs back in the Republic days too. Nothing so cruel as the Imperials, but they did like to play mind games with people something fierce. So, if this is something bigger, you best be prepared for what is coming. Several people could, in fact. You know, it could be profitable doing a few quick runs for a few select individuals, in fact. If you, of course, happen to know someone in need of such services."

He strokes his goatee, considering a few things. "Take that 10,000 from this job and easily make at least 30 or 40 easy if I play my cards right. Besides the lovely twins, don't suppose you could point me in the direction of some find individuals in need of some services?"

He turned to the perceived expert on these matters and nodded. "You would be the best chance any of you have to figuring all of this out." Jarvis looked at Jyrvess and smiled. "Can't say I haven't been offered similar jobs back in the Republic days too. Nothing so cruel as the Imperials, but they did like to play mind games with people something fierce. Nara squints for a moment
"Maybe while you're doing that you could pick me up one of these dohickies?"
She hands over a sheet with a complicated diagram of an enhanced Xciter with the bottom of the page being a bunch of stick figures blasting eachother.

[Jarvis]

"Yes, 10,000. Did you think I was sitting around waiting for you all to call me? I've been making some deals in the meantime."

Jarvis smiles and stares at the mod for a moment and nods. "Oh yes, I am familiar with this one. Assuming you will be installing that inside your own personal weapon, I'll see what I can find. There's a fee with these things, but since you're with Manny, I'll only charge you for my travel expenses. Sound fair?"
